  3. We have zero damage mitigation/damage immune abilities and light armor. As for absorbtion with bubble - we spend 1 gcd to pop it, you spend 1 gcd to break it. Ok sometimes 2 gcd... Result - We can't toe on toe with equally geared...anyone. ------------------------------------- So as a BM sage I will really welcome TW/CL AOE nerf. Because this will reduce whining, hopefully reduce sorc/sage population and after this nerf our problems will become visible.

  6. so...my smart friend....if you have dps hybrid sorc/sage and dps merc/commando you will jump on commando? You know what...you are right. You should shut down merc/commando. But..."lets nerf sorcs they are so OP". They are so OP that you will not even shut them down before any other range class. And no its not because sorg/sage are such a good kiters that there is no point to chase on them. That because if you let merc/commando/sniper/gunslinger to do free phew/phew someone may die. And if you left sorc/sage alone they will like...get 300k damage medal. Big deal. learn to whine noob.
  7. Will say that again. If in 4v4 (both teams full BM) if you will run into a team with hybrid dps sage/sorc, dps commando, tank and healer you will attack commando? Or tank? Or heal? If in 4v4 (both teams full BM) if you will run into a team with hybrid dps sage/sorc, any other dps, tank and healer you will not atack sage? L2P.

  9. In pug WZ there is no guard/heal. In pug WZ 90% of sentinels are bad. They just force leap, most of the time even without rebuke up. And if they jump on you - force wave+force speed and they will switch target. You know...short memory. But good sentinel with group will be guarded, healed and keep rebuke up by cd if trained. And also while trained will do the same amount of damage. Also they have 2 "oh ****" abilities - vanish and immune. In organized rated group pvp things are different. And with rated warzoned this will be the only thing thats matter.
  10. Is it so hard to undrstand - you can't kite if you are jumped by 3 other players. You can't "position yourself" agains good group. Dps sage is number one target. In 4v4 I will not die fast. I will be guarded and healed. But I will get more damage than almost all other classes and at the same time do less damage as almost every other class. So I will die faster then every other class. Sentinel? Tracer missile kids? They will take less damage and do more damage. And they will still be able to burst. Will say that again...sentinels???? You must be kidding. Actually they are the worst target to train. Ah right, Gunslingers/Snipers will not last longer. Sweet. Lets group up with gunslingers, they are just as bad as we are.
  11. Its not about walking away. No1 can. You have dps sage, sentinel, guardian tank and healing commando in the opposing team. What wil be your primary target? In other words - in what situation you will like "oh no, its pointless to jump on sage, lets attack X". What are those X? Snipers?
  12. Its not about elitism. I'm casual. Its about different levels of game. Your advices were good for novice players. But even if I'm casual I'm not novice player. As I said I'm BM geared sage. And I'm fighting agains well geared well skilled premades. This is what "endgame pvp". And its called endgame for reason. In endgame pvp things are different. Players are geared and actually know what to do and when... We still shine in unorganized mass pvp. I still can do 600k damage+100k healing in Voidstar agains melee heavy pug. But in 4v4 if we get trained...its not that goood. So even if I make a promise not to heal until they put mouseover healing in the game...probably I will switch to heal. Actually this thread is pointless. In 1.2 we will get rated WZns. So ppl will min/max there teams...And we will see how many dps sages will be in top WZ teams and how well this game is balanced.
  13. So I'm a BM fcking sage, have problems with skilled BM sentinels and you are like...kite? "your number one priority blablabla"... "use Unity" UNITY??? In duel? WZ? Ilum? "use abilities by cd, use proc, don't forget force armor". oh man... We are talking in a bit different levels. Plz level up, get BM, get gear, duel with BM sentinels with those fancy dark blue lightsabers and come back.
  14. Its not that bad as Rabits trying to say but.... Fine agains BM geared sent/mara who knows what to do and have all CD up? Really? I'm relativly fine against shadows/guardians/scoundrels but sentinels... Can you explain step by step how you "absolutly fine" agains sent/mara? Force lift and run? But I'm ok with that, you can't expect to be best 1v1 and best group pvp class at the same time.
  15. I don't have video. My spec is kinda unorthodox 2/19/20. Force armor is on 17 sec cd. Force wave - 20 sec. Force speed - 20 sec. Force armor give me 3 sec stun, force wave - 5 sec immobilize effect, and I use all 5 seconds. Force slow - 9 sec cd for 6 sec slow effect - nice to throw at the end of stun to gain more distance. With all this I'm capable to avoid melee for long enough to kill them. And there is also force stun. And since at some point they will break some of my stuns I use force lift (and either run or heal, depends. My heal is 2.5 sec, its 8k average from 3 heals). Actually my main problem with melee is that sometimes I'm so tired of that stun-run-dps-stun-run-dps tactic that try to ouddps them. Must admit it - never works.
  16. I guess if you are using something like 0/13/28 your escape abilities are really limited. I'm using spec with "Force Wake", "Kinetic Collapse", "Telekinetic Effusion" + 2 pieces from force mystic set. I'm ok agains any melee. P.S. key idea - no dots lol. I mean in.
  17. You aren't comparing BM to Rakata, you mostly comparing Champin to Rakata. Rakata > Champ. So stay with Rakata until u get full BM. Then it all depends from set bonuses.

  19. As I said I will only welcome such changes. I also have few ideas...but. Until BW removes RNG players will complain about RNG. Again and again, because it hurts. And the fact that "win 3 WZ kill 30 ppl at Lolum repeat 7 days" system is stupid will be covered by that huge huge frustration with RNG. So fix RNG - this will uncover other problems.
  20. Ok I see. Though I totally agree with "gear should be result of efforts, not time spend" idea I can't say that I agree with this "not linear" statement. Sounds interesting. But... One step at a time. Right now gear progression is based on time and RNG only. First step - remove RGN factor, this is frustration. 100500 QQ threads a day... Then lets think about changing "time based progression" into "effort/skill based progression".
  21. So... It will take your 2 months to kill 20.000 player. It will also take 2 month to "do 62,900,000 damage to ball carriers". At the same time it will also takes 2 months to "get 1243524 defend medals" and so on. So after those 2 months you wil get mainhand _and_ chest _and_ something else at the same day (more or less). How is this better then linear??
  22. So you agree that getting BM gear is easy. And the answer is...add "luck" and make it frustrating for some players while making it even more easy for others? You do understand that while there are players that get 2 tokens in 40 bags there are players that get 20 tokens in 30 bags?
  23. Hm..worse for a game? What can really be worse for a game than this endless stream of QQrs in forums? How many "BW your RNG system is awesome best design desision ever" threads have you seen? Zero...(sure you can always go and create one...then it will be 1). How many "BW your RGN system is @#%@#$%^#$" threads? Like half of forum. This is what I propose to fix. I totally agree that better skill should mean better gear progression. This probably will happen after 1.2. But now gear progression is based on time and luck only. And my proposal is all about eliminating the factor of luck while keeping gear earning rate the same.
