I will disagree with this post because, if you are "good" and you are on a team full of noobs, lowbies and baddies, doest matter how good you are because when the better enemy team crushes them, guess what? They are comming for you and you will insta die. If the team sucks, then the team sucks . Doesnt matter your own skill because you alone or with another good player are not going to win. Well. Unless they all d/c before the match is done with 6 mins left like its done to me.

I so agree with you. This game should be renamed to Tear Wars. Take a game with a ton of bugs and broken things and add people that cry and complain and now the game is completely out of control. I pvped my arse off to get the title and the gear. I could tell other marauders would see that i was the first BM marauder and mold themselves after me and want to be like me and EARN that title an unspoken respect like what i worked for. Its all the people that want it now or want the game to be exactly what they freakin want. All the people say that. BM title means nothing or Im just as good! but I want it handed to me for nothing. The reason people refer to the BM title all the time is because that was and still is a point in pvp saying ive grinded all that time, put in all the effort doing stupid ilum dailies everyday even though they suck and is completely stupid. and also dealt with wz aftr wz winning/losing. getting upset but still grinding to achieve that goal.

I agree and disagree with you. i agree on the point that it means nothing, because after the 2 changes to valor, just participating can get you BM. Where i disagree is where the players like myself, pvped since pre release and if you know what it took to get to BM/War Hero, then you would know what it usually meant to face off/see a BM in a Wz/ilum Why? Because we dedicated our time doing 100's if not 1000's of WZ expierience. That also meant you might know your class and you are working/have the best gear for pvp at the time. I dont need a title over my head thats states anything. People know my name.

And this is why I stopped playing my BM geared Marauder. Funny thing is, this guy is arrogant enough to throw his OP'ed classes comments around like he is something special to the pvp world. Highest ive ever crit on my mara with everything popped was 5700 and im sure that was on a non geared player. So let me think... Play a pure DPS melee class with sh*tty medium armor that is inferior to a jug? Naw. Retired that toon. BH is a lot more fun anyway.

Funny thing is that many people think its all about gear in a Wz. I have a BM Marauder and ive been pvping since day 1 of the pre release. Do i think gear makes a difference? absolutly. but there are facrors of this game that people well see when you start having matches with just as geared people. I personally have become frustrated with bugs that are still left. I gave up on class balancing years ago. Trust me. Get a team wirh 3+ healers on each side. thats really annoying. i smash undergeared players and im glad to see them help the new to 50s bracket. but like i said. you will see that even if everyone has gear. its still gonna be the same minus you hit harder survive longer. Now you will have 6 sorcs on one side,now with gear. i dunno. end game pvp has died to me and i have more fun pvping on alts. trying to do dailes has chewed up too much of the time im willing to give. yall will see. grass is never greener.

Some of it is def not you. I have a solid dsl connection and sometimes when i force leap, i end up on their last position and not anywhere near them. Ive used Ravage a trillion times and id say only 75% of the time i actually hit them and its specced to no be int. hell, a few times ive force lept or smashed and ended up with some city as my back ground. cant see my guy at all but im still in the game. then i get deserter and or booted to log in. I understand this game is new and has bugs. but the problem is the bugs are soooo annoying and can ruin end game play. ive all but lost my patience with tor. now in 1.2 they are adding content when they are ignoring a lot of the major issues people are having. they got till june with me. if there arent some awesome changes and fixes im gone and i wont look back.

^^ This guy has obviously never played either of the classes long or at all. I have a 50 Battlemaster Marauder, Valor rank 65, first on my server. Due to me being completely frustrated by Jug's in pvp out DPSing me w/ heavy armor and bored of the dailies in Ilum, The sent/mara class needs some huge upgrades/buffs, w/e because in gear and in high end pvp, yes, we do good damage if played right, but not good enough. We also die alot and easily if focused. I'm always focused. I have sepnt most of my career in the Rage tree. Good AOE dps, good slows (which we need because we are either stunned, slowed, knocked back, all of the above for 90% of the game) and Rage is the best survival for a Mara. I just tried Ann tree after the fixed it. Single target DPS is awesome, good for interrupts. Easier to kill annoying Sorc/Sage/Trooper healers that take the force of God to crush, but, I die even 10 times faster so it's not really practical unless you have a healer dedicated to you. So, with that tid bit being said, Mara/Sents are not the best DPS/Armor ratio by far (I rolled arsenal BH because of it ) and you get CC'ed so much it's rediculous. Mara/Sent are only practical with a dedicated healer. Obviously BW favors ranged. I stopped playing my Mara completely until, if ever they get fixed properly. I'm not going to get out DPS'ed by a Jug and wear S*it armor doing it. (Yes, I know how to play my guy so shut up if you're going to say I don't) If anything, we need faster cool downs but that's not going to solve melee's issues either.

LMAO!!!!!. Really? This is the most stupid post I think I've ever seen. I've played video games on PC, always custom built for 20+ years. So you're saying a computer being a "custom super rig might be the cause"? Lol, I had to laugh again. 1st off. My PC=Intel I7 2600k OC to 4.6 ghz. Asus Maximus Gene Z MB. 2 WD 2.0 TB hdds configured in raid 0. 16 GB G-Skill memory. ATI 5870 OCed. I'm sure there are better systems out there but that's not the point. Point being, I have thrown tons of games, new and old, cranked to the highest possible graphical settings, and my system eats them up. Running in 1920X1080 resolution. I've ran the FPS thingy on TOR and just running around in Ilum I get around 87-115 fps. According to the games FPS counter. But when there is a fight 10+ people it's just horrible. Horrible. I've played almost every game out there and I have never seen a game shut down like Ilum does. It's even still laggy in Fleet too after they said they "fixed" it. Yes, some peoples computers suck. I get that. But mine doesnt and on mine and really sucky ones get the same end result. Just for the hell of it, I turned all the graphics in TOR to the lowest setting and fighting in Ilum is still a joke. It's the game and that's it. Just like people saying the game isn't dying, well, it obviously is. My guild has died, I have a BM Marauder and I just cant stand to even log in to do dailes. Always see people in Ilum asking if the daily is broke. Yeah , it is. I'm a diehard gamer and I've become frustrated with the bugs in this game over and over again. IMO they are not focusing on fixing the game and they will just add "new shinys" to try and keep the game fresh, which honestly, isn't going to work for me. But it's not about me, it's about the tiny numbers of people in fleet, long ques, my friends list is like non-existant now, I could go on and on. they are not fixing the issues in PVP really on the 1.2 that I've seen. So, I am going to wait untill the 1.2 patch comes out and if it's like all the other patches well, Im not going to be a beta tester for this game. As a customer, I expect patches, hotfixes at least show that they are working on it. I played Rift from day 1, I didnt care for it but they were patching it daily. People are defending Bioware and saying well, it's 1,000,000,000 lines of code, blah blah. I don't care. The changes are not comming fast enough and the changes are not adressing the real problems TOR is having and the rapidly declining sub base. I'm not going to hang on and wait for stuff, that means I have to pay money to hope/wait and I'm not willing to do that. Guess I can just solve it by downgrading the hardware in my system!
