Quick info here: as armstech -prototype lvl 49 barrels cost 4 x lvl 6 Ultrachrome researched compound -prototype lvl 50 weapons cost 2 x lvl 6 Ultrachrome researched compound That seems wrong on so many levels since the GTN price is based mostly on those. On the same note the lvl 48 orange weapons require 3 x Biometric Crystal Alloy - witch drop from normal-mode Operations and hard-mode flashpoints - seems thees items are useless since lvl 50 gear do not require Biometric Crystal Alloys. Also as armstech - there is almost no use for Neutronium and Amorphous Carbonite ( from lvl 5 scavenging nodes - Neutronium Speeder Parts) - this materials are completely skipped by weapon recipes and are only used by rating 21 ( lvl 47 ) weapon barrels - witch makes lvl 5 scavenging nodes practically useless for armstechs.

As many of you know well we have a problem with Huttball I personally enjoy the Huttball, a very clever designed warzone, a lot but in the last 30+ matches i got NONE that's right NO Huttball for me, please fix Huttball so it has a higher chance of selection, so we can all enjoy it as it was meant to.
  3. Operatives and scoundrels are ok ... until there are 6 of them in every wz ... right now you see one every 2-3 wz But still nerf sorcerer !

  5. I farm Scavenging nodes . also there are 2 daily quests oh a daily pvp quest ...
  6. I stopped reading at Kill People on Ilum What is your solution to Imbalanced servers ( 1 rep for every 6 imps ) ? Killing people on Ilum is not an option.
  7. On a side note anyone observed the 1-2 seconds delay from when you tell your companion to attack to when the companion actually starts to attack ? Note: the enemy's attacked aggro at the same moment you issue your commands not when the companion starts attacking or when ( depending on companion ) his first ability lands

Love the game enjoying the hell outta it but playing pvp with a gunslinger is challenging First step : remove natural cover , only use crouch Second step: set ability queue to 00 Third step : remover shadows option in graphics ( game looks bad without them but hey that option doubles my fps ) Forth step: check fps 70+ , check ping 65ms And still have lag , low fps , ability lock-downs, ability lags and such Hope the hype doesn't die until they fix this Having ability lock-downs for 5+ seconds is bad , only happens in 1 out of 3 war-zones for me though. Especially annoying as most of the time i have to break cover .. move ... re-establish cover and try again, usually dead by then. But still great game , need more guild mates to lvl 50 so we can start care-bearing in pve. Also thx to all the imperial players who let me finish my Ilum weekly in 30 min ... having a 10 man imp escort just waiting for me to cap an objective so they can recap it was fun ... gg world pvp
  9. Seems to me they made pvp gear the same as pve gear ... random ... so working as intended -> btw got 3 boots what we really need is the ability to get other classes pvp gear so we can pimp our companions with the "double" ( or triple) loot
  10. No one CAN force me to attack another player if i don't want to do it ... yeah Illum is dead right now and nobody in their right mind is attacking the other faction ... just witing for capping ... at least no imperial ever attacked me ( pretty imbalanced server about 1 rep for every 6 imps)
  11. i feel i need to replay here, just lost half my hp in an open world pvp combat, while waiting for any ability to activate, this is bad really bad oh and by the way fox gunslinger unknown effect bug when you cant put yourself in cover and the target not in sight bug when in melee range

There are various things that need to be addressed ... the biggest one being the ability activation lag in pvp ...more sharp pvp action please ( the pvp actions is feels very clunky even with perfect gaming conditions 50ms and 100fps) Also for those who/or hate Huttball / have to wait in queue i got a good solution: ROLL REPUBLIC We got instant queue in warzones ... and we get 1/10 Huttball !!! Or ... QQ more ... im thirsty!

I'm at work right now and can't check it out right now ( but i'm downloading the game client -> screw work swtor fo' life ) , didn't write abut the prototype/artifact thing because i don't have any reliable info/ patterns as to how or why it happenes, but i can impart some of my findings: My guess is that the suffix in brackets says something abut the additional quality of the item with no actual benefit of stats Seems the suffix is in correlation with the tier 1>2 prefix but is surpassed if an item gets a modulator slot The suffix really gets in play when you get items that you learned from schematics directly Prototype quality ( blue ) witch don't have a starter suffix/prefix This can get confusing when you add item names/ suffix /prefix/ AND chat link bug Examples: Hawkeye - Prototype Sonic Blaster - [ Superior] prefix tier2 - actual item name - suffix ( says it has a modulator slot) Note: re-ing other found weapons as armstech got me ZERO recipes ( only green/blues haven't found any purples ) so i wont re them anymore since its way more profitable to sell them at vendor then to get 1-2 mats. - as armstech ( at least until 280 my current skill ) you get a full set weapon green schematics for every 4 levels starting at 9 ( 13-17-21-25-29-33-etc) -full set includes: pistols/rifles/cannons/shotguns/snipers/vibroblades/vibroknives/tech-blades/tech-staff -ALL of those have use either on classes or on pets ( most melee vibo stuff is for pets except vibroknife witch is used by IA) -some of those have TWO variants ( example: pistols with aim and pistols with cunning [ cunning pistols for smugglers/ aim pistols for pets ] ) -exception: there is a offhand ONLY pistol ( with cunning) at 25 lvl req -all of the above can be re-d into items prototype->artifact->with tier 1>tier2+modulator As you can see there are many many recipes ( full set every 4 levels with almost all having 2 variants of base stats) and they can get quite confusing. Note: and to the above list you add recipes found with slicing or any other way ( but not from trainer) witch start as blue items ( without the implicit tier 1 prefix you get from re-ing trainer greens) - thees recipes seem to complete the gaps by 2 levels ( eg. lvl 11, 15,19,23,etc) - but so far only found 1 pistol 15 and a bunch of rifles/techstaves 19 so i cant be sure Note: and to all of the above you add barrel mods witch you only get as green trainable and can be re-d into prototype>artifact with no additional prefixes or suffixes -barrel mods very two lvls ( 9,11,13,15 etc ) All the numbers above are the lvl requirements not actual names or anything.

Well despite the bugs listed here ( and there are many more ) the game is quite complete, i remember popular other popular mmo's had more bugs 6 months after launch then this one has in early access + this mmo has a ton more content than any other mmo at launch And by the way ( beside taris bug ) the bugs are not that game breaking anyway.
  16. Ain't mod crafting suppose to crit and give two instead of one ? Also companions returning from crafted/trade/gathering missions don't allways seem right about what they did ( they say they failed, but i get a modulator slot on items and/or crit purple mats )

I've been waiting for a thread like this Confirm: Starmap bug - happens while trying to travel in a group mouse lockup bug - reload ui works Bug: Linking crafted items with prefixes on any chat channel shows the item name incomplete, and without the added stats from prefixes ex. Hawkeye Blaster ( Superior ) shows up as Blaster ( Superior ) - and the stats added by Hawkeye prefix do not show Bug: sometimes your character starts floating ( don't know the trigger i assume it's too much jumping / movement ) - you cant cast channeled abilities Bug: enemies in doorways or up on elevated ground sometimes cant be shot at ( ie: target not in sight ) at range - workaround: get to melee Bug: sometimes when taking cover near objects ( as gunslinger ) - aimed shot can't be cast , sometimes aimed shot and all other abilities with cast time - instant cast abilities work fine ( and the enemies are of course in plain sight) -workaround - use portable cover only Bug: entering ( done ) quest phased zone in the same moment as a group member exist it ( and at the moment it turns red and finished ) gets you paralyzed in the red phased zone ( /stuck command doesn't work)[ happened once on Ord Mantell ] - workaround use teleport / fleet pass Ping/server side bugs,lag/annoyances: ping 70-80 > pvp seems a little laggy / sluggish > game performance improves at off hours ( fewer ppl on the servers) > some abilities skip cast animations > abilities activation lag at peak hours The above at 70-80 ping on my side. Annoyances: > obsolete quests game world icon should be gray/non existent ( especially for dailies ) > sorting crafting parameter resets every time you switch zones > companion auto cast / no auto cast preset - resets every time you summon him/switch zones > some zones got huge load times ( Nar Shaddaa ) but it may just be me And many more i cant remember now Also .. leveling is too fast i out level my planets way to easy ... nerf xp gain !
  19. Its a bug... it's missing the prefix ( yeah the name of the item links shorter)/ stats associated with the prefix / sometimes the base power is off too.
  20. So recipes witch start of, as blue seem more expensive to get to tier 2 prefixes ... Also seems to me a waste of time to disenchant green items -> didn't get a single recipe Update: did a TON , a TON of Armstech crafting today: Got green>blue>purple recipes for blasters/rifles/autocannons levels 13/17/21/25/29 some i got more than one variant ( got damn defense tier 1 prefix on blues ) Can confirm everything the op has stated is indeed working and true. BUG: linking a prefixed item to chat lists it without the prefix and without the prefix stats it shows good in trade window/ GTN and the prefix stats work if you put the item on ... Also possible bug : crit crafting mods doesn't give 2 ... at least not to me ... did they change it ?

So if i got this right : Green recipe>>Blue recipe+1x(tier 1prefix[ has 3 variants])>> >>Purple recipe+1x(tier 2prefix[subcategory of tier 1 with 5 variants]) if i got this right i don't think there will be tier 3 since that would make items legendary you don't need that many variants anyway since most are crap for the intended class (eg. +def on smuggler ? )
  22. It's early in the morn for US and during school/work hours for EU Stop complaining ! Maintenance is done so you server doesn't blow, so expect more of it with all of you lazors wielding out there.

I really can't understand the whining that's going on Bioware just proved they have THE BEST customer support in the world Can you imagine company xxzzard giving 2 days free on their choice MMO when they DON'T have too ? Do you know how much money they are loosing with this option ? In this economy ? With the money hungry EA on their backs ? Jeez, i wasn't expecting a MINUTE of free play and they give two days, that says something about their mindset and direction. Hope they keep up the good work. Also MANY preorders are getting the game box early ( before 20th ) - when again THEY didn't have too send them early, but they manged to do that too.
