  1. These are a few suggestions I've been thinking about for a while now. A few things that BioWare could add to help make Star Wars: The Old Republic more enjoyable to those people who hare sitting around waiting and doing nothing. So you've reached level 65 and now what? Operations? Flash Points crafting? Is that it... Role another character... Okay. Now I got a Legendary status so now what? Wait for endgame new content. Here is a few suggestions to add something to do while we wait on new content. A list of new planets that may need to be added. [*]Naboo [*]Dantooine [*]Dxun & Onderon Now the reason for this suggested planets is that we're going to settle them. Yes SWTOR is action packed and loads of fun without any other sub-par useless updates. May I call your attention to Skyrim for a moment and I want to talk about something that was stated a lot during the development of Star Wars: The Old Republic and that world is... Immersion. We all enjoy it, it places us as much as it can with the characters with in the games we play, and nothing is more impactful then being able to some of the smaller things often we seem to think are useless. Take Star Wars: Galaxies for example; What made people like it so much? I often wondered about that myself until I realized. it wasn't the endless endgame content because what they had was it. From 2009 until 2011 Star Wars: Galaxies had all they were going to release. There no new planets no new endgame content. But there was an almost endless amount of things that one could be doing other then sitting around chatting waiting on the next update. People could work on their house, set up their guild/player association's city work on recruitment, go mining in space. These planets can be open world exploration, Because to open up the existing planets would just be too much work. You can develop a system based off of the decoration's layout to allow people to place their player made structure. Open up space to where people can go mining, and just explore the surrounding area around the planet they're about to settle. Maybe a guild decides to build a starbase and not a player made city. Allow streets and street lamps to be placed. This is a lot to take on but in the end people will find themselves not getting enraged over the long wait for new content. It seems that endgame content is the only thing to look forward to in Star Wars: The Old Republic. What about survival skills? I call your attention to in one of the trailers where Darth Maglus' army was defeated on Alderaan. He had to have basic survival skills in order to make it back to the Empire. On the terms of combat and training. There is no reason why a Sith couldn't train in the Lightsaber form of his/her choice regardless of spec. There are a few lightsaber forms that are more aggressive then the ones given and there are a few lightsaber forms that are more defensive then the ones given. For those force users that do not focus on lightsaber combat there are also force forms.
  2. systemrequirementslab.com passed it
  3. Processor AMD Athlon II X2 4450e Processor Manufacturer AMD Speed 2.8 GHz Number of Cores 2 Video Card Standard VGA Graphics Adapter Manufacturer ATI Chipset ATI ATOMBIOS Dedicated Memory 512 MB Total Memory 512 MB Memory 6.2 GB Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit Service Pack 1 Size 64 Bit Edition Ultimate My PC Specs are the minimal but something still is preventing it from playing TOR.
  4. I hate to say this but this is a bad idea, Hackers are going to go wild in PVP, support will go down to nothnig, please BioWare don't let EA push this game off a cliff. But it's a shame really and really disappointing to say the least. Fix PVP and maybe you could start getting more subs.
  5. I would like to see the cost in taking mods out reduced or taken away so we have have free range in customizing our gear without penalties
  6. well if you want to play SWG go play SWG..... Wait you can't.
  7. So you expected SWG pre NGE... I'm not sure if you got the memo, but this isn't SWG 2.
  8. The only reason there was a sub lose is becasue they came to SWTOR expecting WoW when what they got is SWTOR. I for one couldn't be happier with this MMO, not just becasue it is Star Wars but I feel driven to repeat flashpoints becasue it makes me feel apart of the story of that flashpoint. I'm guess people aren't happy until they are just blazing through the quests with no real drive or reason to what you are doing. Yes PVP has it's problems but PVP isn't the focus point to any MMO, if you think so then you are very mistaken. People also came expecting SWG, if I'm not mistaken SWG before it's death, SOE developers failed a number of times to fix existing bugs and glitches pushing new contect without really testing it or seeing if players even liked the changes. SWG at release was called, "Star Wars flavored Everquest". And was considered by reveiwers pointless since the MMO could play it self, when in fact it could. Warhammar was a let down to all of its followers, STO was broken at launch, LOTRO never really had a PVP system simply becasue there was no other faction. With countless other titles that seemed to make the list and failed becasue of a lack of passion for the title simply because the developers were in it for the money only. And for SWTOR to be developed, and developed as well as it was and with the smoothest launch to date, for people not to like it, these very people that came to SWTOR expecting their failed MMO are a walking contradiction.
  9. I would have to agree, I would like them to break up Warzones in groups 10 to 19, 20 to 29 so forth and so on. Take away Expertise and it would be somewhat better. because atleast I could still use my custom gear that I've worked so hard on matching, and getting all the epic mods I needed. I could kill Jedi and look good while I do it.
  10. Character recustomization, This can also extend to legacy, adding Sith Pureblood jewelry if you have leveled a Sith Pureblood to 50. Zabrak face tattoos if you have leveled a Zabrak to 50. so forth and so on. Classic Jedi/Sith tunic and cloak, with the new custom gear mixed with some of the old, someone can get close but not to the real deal. Darker blacks and lighter whites. http://i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu210/kittiecorpses09/veilwalk.jpg The way I have it set up it looks somewhat like the Sith costume that Starkiller wears in The Force Unleashed. Minus the shoulder pads and belt around the outside of the cloak. It seems that when it comes to lightsabers, Sith and Jedi should be able to make their own regardless of what Crew Skills that have. But it needs to be only something the character them selves can make, no companion can make it for them. Blasters can work the same way. More custom helmets that can be worn under hoods and masks for Jedi and SIth. I know that cross server warzones are in the works but go ahead and place it in the game so warzone ques take less time.
  11. I got a level 38 sorcerer with madness spec, not sure if you've noticed but endless force lightening is crazy sweet. With a chance to instant cast lighting strike or crushing darkness is a lot of damage at one time. And do I need to say it.... Death Field, most of the damage from this move is at least 1k I've seen it go as high as 2k in PVP. With that, I've killed a meny of Marauders/Sentinels.. I think the last few times I starting getting marked.
  12. I support this thread, please remove the rakghoul plague
  13. People need to understand that this was all unexpected for them as well. It's a problem yes but nothing they will not get fixed. People need to calm down and chill out. Go enjoy the sun some.
  14. to be honest I find it a relief that swtor isn't one big sausage fest.
  15. Do you mean traditional Jedi/Sith Robes with cloaks? If so, then no. Would be nice but maybe they will add it later on
  16. as of right now ingame? no, but it is coming in a later update, (not 1.2). There has been some talk about letting guilds have a capital ship as well, but that was both on one developer's blog and some hear-say.
  17. there is normally some social 1 gear you can get but with the patch 1.2 coming out there will be a lot more to choose from.
  18. Keep your internet provider in mind as well.
  19. You started gaining legacy points after you first character completed their first chapter. You know when you first created your legacy name? The perks are based on legacy level not points, the points are legacy xp.
  20. You people have to learn to read these updates. As far as crafting and Warzone PVP? Did you not know that your gear in a warzone does not matter as far as stats go. To be honest crafting is more effective in PVE not PVP.
  21. I have synthaweaving, artifice, cybertech and biochem and I do not feel let down. They all work for me just fine and I'm able to support my alts with all the crafting. I guess you are not reverse engineering like you need too.
  22. I've got four characters. level 50 Human juggarnuat Darth Veil With Synthaweaving level 50 Sith Pureblood Assassin Darth Omission With Artifice level 42 Cyborg Marauder Lord Sattose With Cybertech level 36 Human Sorcerer Lord Spiritus With Biochem all of them I enjoy, I can make my own custom armor, and my own mods for my custom armor, I can may my self anything I need for any of my characters and my companions. To be honest I'm not in it for the credits because I can make them easy by selling mods, medpacks, stims, or any epic belts or bracers. I would say I'm self sufficient.
  23. To be honest, I could careless about PVP. I just do it to gain extra XP and credits, and some of the gear isn’t half bad. It wasn't the PVEers that got the changes going, it was the people that rage over PVP. And I do not play a none force sensitive class. So I have no worries about either PVP or PVE when it comes to my Sith Sorcerer.
