Now I have all these alerts and still none of my old companions??? What should I be doing now? I feel like it just dropped me off and I'm alone and afraid

but they did remove them...so that isn't a lie...it does make it more challenging (maybe) its not lying to then reuse them for another purpose. Unless you are suggesting they removed them solely to remake as cartel items...which they don't need to lie about they reuse shells all the time

I didn't take it that way...it seemed foreshadowing not in a sorry type of way, more in a sinister way I will agree though that is all perception so I could be mistaken

The Satele and Marr part was basically the last scene of the chapters so far and if I recall it they make a comment like "its too bad they all have to die" it is possible I was falling asleep by then or something. As for Valkorion I know because it had to be him...but I just kept hoping they would do something to end his story and then this be a new story...I felt let down that it was same old villain

I'm not trying to be negative about this expansion and maybe my disappointment in it is a result of over hyping it up in my mind (BW does get blame for that too because they make such sweet cinematic trailers) but I can't help but feel let down by the story of KotFE (so far) I don't love the "Valkorion" is Vitiate (or visa versa) twist. I know that Swtor is largely Vitiate's story but I am finding the Emperor story over done at this point. It is like the writers can't think of a way to have a villian without just having it as Vitiate at this point. Also the whole Valkorion is in my head plot is tired and boring in my opinion. I found the Eternal fleet a great idea, an unbeatable star fleet that was the core of the power base of this massive army, but then without even knowing it my team within hours of freeing me from Carbonite (why was I in carbonite just to keep Valkorion trapped in my head? How exactly does Arcann know he is in my head?) my team stumbles upon a ship capable of one shotting 24 ships in this unbeatable star fleet...maybe its the force fighting against Arcann or maybe its luck but it feels like it was forced. I don't really like the new companions at all, I realize that is a personal opinion but in the main story they came slowly and the reasons they joined were thought out (most) but this expansion I get all new companions all dumped on me with no warning...don't get me wrong, I was all for my old companions be scattered and Lana coming to rescue me is fair and makes sense, but Senya, Koth, HK-55...they may be great ppl but I feel like my republic character's first priority would be finding his friends. Which leads me to my next gripe...if I woke up with Vitiate in my head I would be going no where near people I need or care about like T7 or Lana...plus removing him from my consciousness would be priority #1. Id suggest trying to find the Jedi counsel but apparently they have disappeared and Satele is plotting my death...ummm WHAT? Overall I think the expansion idea was very good just horribly executed. Anf PS: I realize others will disagree I just felt the writing and plot were very poor.

I hate Koth too...but it has nothing to do with how he looks his character is awful. In fact I find all the new companions bad and the whole story feels forced....

Hello, So I am late to the party on the whole Star Wars expanded universe and I know that apparently now none of it happened anyway. However I am still loving reading it and I'll basically make my own idea of what is my canon. So my first question is this: 1) in the new books that are canon have they done anything that contradics the EU? 2) What EU books are you going to consider "canon" even though officially they are not? 3) In the Rise of the Empire Era what books did you enjoy? I ask because with TCW's and knowing how it ends this isn't my favourite time period, so I would mostly skip the books here (Except for Plageus and LofE). Thanks Guys

No I don't think they need to make things easier to get...also people need to realize they have the same chance to get the jetpack in each pack they opens the number of packs they open doesn't increase the chances to get it.

I'd be proper pleased if the new movies are good. I actually have high hopes for them I generally like everything JJ Abrahms does In regards to your Lucas statement...I'm sure he will be hurt, try to spin it like a lot of it was actually his idea and then go away once the $$$ rolls in

For me where the whole "cannon" debate breaks down is when the when the canon sources start pulling from the stuff they consider not cannon...for example you have Darth Bane on this list who is never mentioned in a movie...and has a 30 second appearence in TCW, but what he creates (rule of two) is cited in the movie and for me that brings the Bane books into the canon, however not as authoratative as the main books but as a supplement to them. Unfortunatly for me someone can't just tell me that all of XXXX never happened and only YYYYY happened if YYYYY is consistently using the material created in XXXXX. Mr Lucas should have not allowed things to be produced in his universe if he wanted complete control of it.

1- subtitles with the wookie voice is already in game. 2- make them not avaiable...surely not hard to make someone not romanceable they already have it in game with jaesa (dark = y light = n) 3- ...if my memory serves correctly wookies didn't start hating all imperials until after the sacking of kashyyk after revenge of the sith (rise of darth vader by james luceno) ...i see no reason at this point that a wookie couldn't be a bounty hunters, smugglers or troopers...we already lock races out of certain classes anyway.[/b] 4- no armour just display weapons just like the companion.

I see zero reason we can't have a playable wookie...we already have Bowdaar recorded so they could just use his voice and make it a little longer and at text for the cutscenes. Everyone already seems to understand wookie's language without trouble anyway
