  1. While I am enjoying the game, and it is what I expected, I did prefer the openness of SWG (original) This one sort of makes me feel like I'm being led by the nose. I did like Tattooine at first because it was a bit more open but even that starts to feel very limited very quickly. I guess the real downfall is that ecverything seems very static with very little "surprise" related to a changing world
  2. I believe that is partially true. A "Successful" and "Popular" Launch means more investors.
  3. Hmmm..out of 27 West Coast US servers, 1 appears down so of the 26 remaining servers, 21 have que times as of 7:30 PM PST 21 of 26...Really? I'm not a science major but i am a businessman and I can tell you that doesn't appear to be good customer service. If it continues after the 20th, you won't have to worry about server Que's. They will fix themselves.
  4. I'm rolling one right now. UPDATE: I'm smoking it now.
  5. You don't think the next MMO to come out, some people will think "I better preorder right away" remembering how this one went? Then they can use your cash to pay for development.
  6. As a high level manager in a large telecommunications company, I love what the OP said. We spend millions trying to make the most customers not just satisfied but very satisfied. This was an opportunity to do just that and Bioware squandered it. While i am not whining about their decisions, I feel they were made to make you want to preorder immediately the next time a Bioware product comes out, when in fact what they make me want to do is not preorder at all.
  7. There is a speed pass. It's called preorder. It puts money in their pockets with nothing in your hands.
