Likewise, ideally when my alts are at low levels and the outfit design costs are low. That being said, I usually think of more outfit ideas as I play through the game and level up. And when cartel packs are released with armor pieces that fit my character's style it's off to the GTN I go.

I can relate to that. The legacy unlock system made outfit hunting seem more worthwhile, the outfit designer added to this by allowing me to save on bank space and splurge on outfit combinations with impunity.

I've gotten a lot of use out of the outfit designer. I know it's just cosmetics but I think it's a nice touch and compliments the outfit unlock system.

I'm definitely leaving some alts in the the past until the FE story is complete. If I like where things end up and it suits the characters I've made I'll push them forward, if not I'll leave them where they are. Like some of you I've got some fresh alts I made with FE in mind that I've taken through the new chapters.

I'd be ecstatic if we could get a Gravestone stronghold at the end of the KotFE story, that ship is amazing! The hanger bay alone is large enough to house our starship and I love how there's crew and droids all over the place doing odd tasks. I'm guessing one of the major problems would be designing the stronghold so it's worth the money but not so glorious that it completely outshines the guild vessels people have been working hard on. Locking off rooms would also feel a bit silly since we've already walked around the ship. That being said there are a few doors we can't go through yet and it wouldn't take much to explain that away through the story. Objectively speaking though an Odessen stronghold would be the logical choice along with an extra stronghold slot if possible.
