  3. so you post a vid of a sentinel owning 12k hp nubs with no expertise. K. The BM he killed used to cooldowns, no force push, and didnt charge into the fight for some reason. Either it was all on CD, or he's bad. Either way, poor video to demonstrate anything, at all.
  4. What does a Jugg tanking have anything to do with rage timers, which is essentially a DPS thing.

If you are DPS and cannot kill a healer, or at least force him to do nothing else than try to survive your onslaught, you honestly have to: 1) Change your spec cause it sucks 2) Up your game cause it sucks 3) Up your gear cause it sucks I'm a BM jugg, and when I go DPS in WZ's, wether it be vengeance or Rage, those *********** healers bettter keep spamming themselves casue they are gonna die. And wether they die or not, I,m doing my job because they can't be healing anyone else. And if you're going against a team of 4 healers, just grab the goddamn ball and see how healer DPS is total ****.

  7. I'm a BM Jugg. Given a full lenght huttball, I will always get 300k dmg if I'm not only carrying the ball and taking the heat for the team. (were just top of the line carriers with charge and intercede). Our damage and burst is probably one of the highest, which is fine since we're melee. In 1v1, there is honestly no class that can stand us besides marauder (mainly because of undying rage and force shroud, but then again, marauders faceroll anyone in 1v1). We don't push 500k dmg due to lack of aoe, but it doesnt matter, because when you look at the killboard, you're 10 kills ahead of everyone, you went immortal, you scored the ball 2-3 times, you saved your teamates 2-3 times with guard and taunt, you made the sorcs and mercs cry to baby jesus when you are in their face, you massacred the ennemy healer a couple of times ect.. ect.. Either people are not playing their juggs right, or are lying, because I always make one hell of an impact on my games through DPS, I lead the medals, the kills, the damage and so forth. Also, I'm vengeance spec. So no "LOL SMASHES" comments here please ( even though I like that spec as well.) I won't say we're better than marauders, cause we are not, we're just different, and bring different stuff to the table. But DPS juggs are a hell on earth for the ennemy team if well played. * BTW, another BM jugg who is very good as well has once pushed for 495k in huttball as vengeance/obliterate. My personal record in huttball is 407k. Pocket healers make us walking gods.

  9. All I understand is that a bad player (you) is trying to make up for his shortcomings by calling unbalance. Juggernauts own ANY class in 1 on 1, regardless of spec, except equally skilled marauders. The fact that they dont have the aoe to get the same numbers doesnt mean **** when it comes to winning. If you are DPSING, and massacring people, then you are doing good. In fact, Unless your whole team is making an effort to AOE at the same time, its close to *********** useless compared to single target DPS and taking out targets quick and easy. I'm a BM jugg, we man handle in PvP, and if our mobility and DPS was any better, I'm pretty sure we'd need a nerf.
  10. Im actually sporting a vengeance build including shatter and all the bleeds. It kinda rocks when you get used to it and learn to use shatter at the right time (I.E. not use it when its useless.) Ive tried Full Rage, Immortal , Vengeance/Rage Impale/Obliterate Hybrid, soem Immortal DPS, .... I've tried em all extensively. Shatter can be really really powerful when you time it right, Mine crits for 2-2.5 k and the ticks crit for 700-800. Wouldn't say its more powerful than other stuff, but it will help out on tougher targets (Tanks, healers, ball carriers ect..) and you won't lose 1v1, EVER, except against good marauders.

  14. I do defend them. They're saying they're adding stuff to the game, like a new WZ and rated WZ's. If you use your brain for more than a split second, you know faction imbalance cannot be "fixed". So you tell me what's so bad about it.
  15. You're whining like a kid. What they are proposing is gonna help the game. 1. Giving another same faction WZ will give more variety. *** is your problem here kid? 2. Faction imbalance cannot be "fixed". Population movements will take time, and stupid propositions like "give extra valor to a side" is not an incentive. What if the populations get even? You take it away? Now people whine even more. It's not a longterm solution. What they're doing is giving incentive through the legacy system. Wait and see, cause right now, you have no idea what it's gonna bring. 3. Rated WZ's, they fixed the bags. Seriously, all I see is a whiny post of a raging kid.

    Honestly, your gear is fine to break 200k every match, that's for sure. It's probably your spec. Somethings just work better in PvP than some others. Try doing some research. @ OP Yep, I have a marauder guildy who can push 450k + dmg with about 100k healing in voidstars. I believe the bleed tree for marauders has an AOE effect for bleed effects? I know she has some aoe healing, which is making it sky rocket. So on voidstar, the big numbers pop.
  18. well, the difference is probably minimal, maybe even negligible. And without a DPS meter, it's impossible to quantify. All I know is that the 2 marauder piece bonus works like a charm in PvP.
  19. "Sans combat log" I refer to what the game gives me, I.E. what the tooltip says, I.E accuracy only gives you a chance to hit and nothing else. Take your own advice. That brain of yours, it's there for a reason.

  21. Nope, it does not. It allows you to penetrate defense, I.E. reduces your chance to be blocked/parried/shielded. It adds NOTHING to damage and crit in any way, shape, or form. And in PvP, 70% of strong attacks already ignore the target's defense, so honestly, there really is no point to it. Like the poster said, it seems drops of mods and whatnot are more valuable than the gear itself. I've went through all the classe's rakata and BM gear, and it seems no one has a way to part even slightly from the ****t mods they put in there.

So, from hovering most of the classe's stats on the "tier 3" gear, the overall trend is that accuracy is the main stat on every freacking piece (for DPS, that is) Accuracy and power, accuracy and crit, accuracy and w/e. Now, accuracy penetrates defense and enables to hit targets with high defense more often. Ok In PvE, I can get why this would viable if bosses had higher defense and such. Now on to PvP. Why the **** would I want as a main stat hogging the place instead of crit/surge/power when all it does is allow you to hit tanks more often (albeit what they can block is already very limited). I am genuinely curious as to what I am missing. I think a bit of accuracy can help, but to the point where its everywhere taking place? no? How about putting some other mods out there?
  23. I'm not sure what's the hate on the Rage tree is coming from, or on any Juggernaut wanting to DPS. Rage: You talk about group play. Rage has alot more potential for group play then you seem to think. In any given organised PvP, healers are abound, and dealing with them effectively usually makes or breaks the game. What Rage can do for your team is land huge spikes of damage on multiple players, which is living hell for a healer. Given that you have teamates helping out and focusing someone else, you can easily make the healer spazz out. What if I'm Smashing the ball carrier and 2 other people as well? The healer has to choose, either save the carrier or the supporters: either way, he cannot keep up with everyone. I've PvPed with another Rage Marauder, and *** are healers supposed to do when 2,3,4,5 or more people take 10k hits to the face simultanously? Saying that Rage is only a LOL SMASH build thats only good for damage meters is uninformed. Plus you get armor penetration for tough targets, and force crush, which is a very nice snare and damage which should be used for other things than just damage. Vengeance: probably a bad idea to use shatter in PvP, havent really tested it, but I've played a an Impale/obliterate build and it demolishes people in single target damage. Again, you might be stunning healers and whatnot, but a well played vengeance jugg will make sure healers do nothing else than try to save themselves. I've played full immortal, and it's good for all the reasons you listed. Dismissing the potential of other trees, though, is a bit hasty. You can still stance dance and guard/taunt whoever you want in any tree (which every Jugg should be doing). And yes I'm BM as well.
