  1. Will there be an option to edit existing characters to take advantage of new race options provided by the release of legacy?
  2. Sure it was a stun and not a root? Roots work regardless of resolve.
  3. There are hooded robes for Warriors. There's a medium armor one that drops in BT, for instance (Orange, so can be used forever basically). Not sure about heavy armor, since I don't have a Juggernaut.
  4. Actually, the intervention type skills are different from passing, in that while CC'ed you can't pass, but you can be pulled out by the sorc.
  5. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Please release 1.2 as soon as you can!
  6. PvP dailies, space daily, PvE dailies, whatever. Any daily quest at level 50 will add healthy chunks of legacy. I strongly recommend the space daily though. I mean, it only takes eight minutes.
  7. I have two chars I'm working with right now. My main is at 50, my first alt is 43. I'm holding off in part because two chars is more than enough to juggle (still gearing out my 50!) and in part because of the upcoming stuff. Also, does anyone else think a Sith Jedi would be hilarious? Besides, they've also said there's stuff for existing characters coming.
  8. Actually, my real problem is that on my server, it always seems like the republic team is all decked out in battlemaster and my team has maybe 200 expertise at best. I have AWFUL luck. I think that the daily or weekly, one of the two, should be changed to be based on matches played, to account for the massive variance between winning and losing in terms of getting gear.
  9. This. It's stupid to penalize people for their choice of faction. Why should I be punished for preferring the BH's storyline to Trooper's?
  10. See, this assumes you're WINNING. The problem is, not having gear puts you at a disadvantage, and hence, you run into problems getting the daily complete in the first place. Hell, it took me three days to complete my first one (In part because I wasn't doing pvp all the time, and in part because I just had a 95% loss rate due to running into premades left and right or having awful teamwork) Basically, it's easy to get pvp gear when you win, and easier to win when you have pvp gear. It's hard to get pvp gear when you lose, and easy to lose when you have no gear.
  11. Maybe if you have a ******** of coms when you hit 50.
  12. The problem is Intercede, imo, because it completely negates the use of CC. You stun the ball carrier so your team can pile on him, but then he's whisked away, still carrying the ball, to somewhere out of reach. He now has full resolve and is ahead of you. That's basically an instant score, and the only way to stop it is to NEVER LET A SAGE/SORC GET AHEAD OF THE BALL CARRIER. The problem is that there is no counterplay to this. Especially now that pull defense is no longer possible, intercede lets a single person negate your ability to focus fire the ball carrier. Consider that the same person can add a shield and heal the carrier, and you end up with a situation where they offer so much more to the team than anyone else (okay, a good tank is still useful because sorc/sages are squishy) it's ridiculous. Intercede should cause them to drop the ball, the same as stealthing does.
  13. The system is heavily biased against new players. The only efficient way to get pvp armor is to win (Daily/Weekly, because merc commendations take prohibitive amounts of losses to accumulate), but the only way to reliably win is to have a lot of expertise (across the team as a whole).
  14. The chief problem with Alderaan is that the center is too easy to get to from spawn. It's nigh impossible to take it out because it takes all of fifteen seconds for a dead person to get back there and open fire again... Defense of the middle is FAR too easy for how valuable it is to control it. I like the idea on turret control, but I think that shouldn't kick in until after your ship's health drops a certain amount, AND it should impact the damage your turrets do... (maybe a 25% drop, as you shift power to shielding your ship).
  15. They said they're working on cross-server WZs though at least... Though I'm not sure I want a hyper-crowded Ilum. Let's face it, at the 10v10 point you're going to have a hell of a time focus firing - it's going to be an AoE bloodbath.
  16. The legacy preview video you posted a while back talked about new skills. Could you elaborate on what exactly you mean by that?
  17. Actually, I though of an ever better solution. Allow level 50s to queue with lower levels with a stat penalty (and no expertise).
  18. There are two ways to get champion bags. 1)Commendations. Except that merc commendations are a pain in the *** because they're from three little chests on tat that have 20 each and have a slow-*** respawn, so it basically costs 800 WZ commendations each. 2)Daily. 3 wins. Weekly, 9 wins. Oh right, but you have trouble winning until you get pvp gear, and it doesn't count half the time anyways. So basically, you either lose a ******** of games for each bag, or you win games. Of course, the entire reason you're doing this is in order to win games. Basically, for a fresh level 50, you have to win games to be able to win games. (Of course, it doesn't help that there's nothing in place to try and make huttball teams roughly even in terms of expertise levels, or running into a republic premade of champions, which basically means you're not winning any pvp for a good while, and such) Admittedly this is a pessimistic view, but... I've probably played 20 warzones since I hit 50, and I currently have 1 win credited to me. I think the best solution is to make it more feasible to get merc commendations besides 30:10 trades, for starters. Or make the daily or weekly based on warzones PLAYED, so that running into absurd loss streaks doesn't leave you with a mere 1/20th of the cost of a champion bag that in turn contains a fraction of the cost of a pvp armor piece each game
  19. How is the Ilum 2+ heroic difficult with two people? You just each take one of the jedi and solo him. Interrupt forcequake and you're golden. Maybe it's just because my 50 is a powertech and can debuff the hell out of them...
  20. Yeah, some good free-flight battles would be lovely. The ability to dogfight players too. (New warzone: Fleet v Fleet!)
  21. Most planets do. Basically everything after capital world seems to have a quest you pick up at the spaceport/orbital station that keeps giving more quests until you eventually return to where you started, having visited most/all of the planet.
  22. Now, if you send one or two people who can harass mid from a distance to stall the capture a bit (while taking their side), you can REALLY mess them up. Too bad there aren't any AoE DoTs...
  23. Exactly. If the enemy team commits all their resources to mid, then it's stupid to attack mid. "Do not repeat the tactics which have gained you one victory, but let your methods be regulated by the infinite variety of circumstances." -Sun Tzu "So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak." -Sun Tzu
  24. Bzzt wrong. Weapons Proficiency: Electrostaves is given on class change to Assassin/Shadow, and shows up in that tab. Are you perhaps thinking of training sabers or vibroswords?
  25. Yeah, the side areas are fair game. I wish you hadn't just told people about being able to stay in the spawn area forever though... I don't want to have games decided by which team knows how to pull-defend...
