  1. I'd agree with Plageius for new EU readers, But it's only the beginning. The Zahn trilogy, Outbound Flight, Darth Bane trilogy are all great to go from there. Clone Wars is excellent if you haven't seen it (It gets better every season and Ahsoka develops very nicely. Republic Commando novels are good if you accept Traviss as writing them as pro-Mando propoganda. Young Jedi Knights was cool from what I remember. If you have the patience to read all 9 books, Legacy of the Force and Fate of the Jedi are interesting. Allegience and Choices of one by Zahn are cool. New Jedi Order is the 22 book series. Even I, who has read at least 100 Star Wars books hasn't read it all.
  2. Hmmm... Ahsoka has increased my love for Togruta greatly, but my heart remains with Twi'leks. We are going based on which we think is sexier, right?
  3. And the EU hasn't done said things? No lore save Even Piell has been conpletely altered. Even so, Coruscant Nights still happed.
  4. "I have the high ground!" Obi-wan RotS "That's so wizard Annie" Kitster TPM "You're shorter than I expected" Anakin RotS "She seems to be on top of things" Obi-wan AotC ""She doesn't look like much, but she's got it where it counts" Han Solo ANH "No Chewie, this one goes here, that one goes there" Han Solo ESB
  5. I'm Failing to see where Maul didn't learn to use the Force, follow the Sith code, not use his pain and hatred to his advantage or in any way be restricted from becoming powerful enough to harness the dark side. Maul was at very least an acolyte/assassin, which doesn't make him any less dangerous, at most, Palpatine had already begun grooming his apprentice, fooling Plageius into thinking he was a mere assassin. Last time I checked, Bane and Zannah both saught out new apprentices without killing eachother first.
  6. No, it's stated the Ones are Celestials, and in the Mortis trilogy he could take the Fathers place. Give that there was no Mortis dagger in RotJ, he was not One. I could be assumed he could become immortal in the Mortis Monolith somehow, but thats speculation.
  7. Dave Filoni says it was George's idea, I saw GL firsthand say Maul and Opress were brothers at CV, and he is involved heavily in story creation for every TCW. Episode. I'd find a source, but I am minus a computer and iPhone's aren't easy to work with.
  8. E-books and the library are your friend. It changes how you look at the movies, so it's worth it. I'd say it's the new starting point for those new to the EU.
  9. Visionaries was either S-canon or N-canon and Clone Wars in general is T-canon and given that Lucas wanted Maul back in TCW, with Katie Lucas writing the arc, his return in TCW is G-canon. Maul in his body at least has not returned in C-canon or higher until now.
  10. I just want plain Jedi Robes (Prequel and Ben style) with a hood that can be up or down (Not gone, just down). And Nautolans. Heck, Neo-crusader Mando armor would be cool too. Why not have some of that medium Force user armor from KotOR (Look). Mira style attire, some Echani clothes.
  11. You would think Obi-wan would have been injured by the walkway Dooku dropped on him, but nope.
  12. Like I said they exist, but they are incorrect. The only utterly irreconciable thing recently I remember is Evan Piel dieing in TCW.
  13. Judging by the "What have I done?" Anakin probably accidently hit a DS option and didn't know of the escape key.
  14. Unlike Maul, Anakin had no training in the Dark side and survived Mustafar, pain gives Sith focus on using the Dark side, Maul had the willpower, he had survived on Mustafar with few visits from Palpatine in his time, presumably not living a life of luxury and had his wounds would have been cauterized to some degree, though he did speay some bblood in TPM.
  15. Almost nothing in the EU is completely non-canon due to GL post prequels., the Potentium and Unifying views of the Force are philosophies, never facts. They may be incorrect, but they exist in the universe.
  16. Keep in mind that: A) Mandalorians don't stay the peaceful type for long, and as Kenobi states in the Mandalore episodes, weren't always peaceful (Mandalorian Wars) B) Karen Traviss is a Mandalorian who came to earth and spreads her stories to glorify her people, not be a neutral narrarator) C) Wearing Mandalorian armor in real life gets you girls.
  17. Anyone else think that the chest looked like the loot chest from SWTOR?
  18. So you refer to thefact that they share the same effect, so if you have both buffs active at once, you waste the presence of mind if you don't cast Mind Crush or Disturbance before you cast TK Wave. What he wants is for Tidal Force (Which only applies to TK Wave) to be used on TK Wave and PoM to to be saved for another TK Wave after it's cooldown ends or to use on Disturbance/Mind Crush after you use the Tidal Force proc. At least that's what I gathered, and my build uses both. Didn't have an issue with cast times or anyting though, sounds like GCD.
  19. It's between Kit Fisto and Kitster. Possibly Ben Quadrinaros for the troll/awesome value.
  20. Kit Fisto, because he holds up pretty well and last for a few seconds against a powerful opponent using the most basical of Lightsaber forms, Shii-cho. Then again, as my avatar hints at, I am a MASSIVE Kit Fisto fanboy.
