  1. So basically the game should be for the wealthy that can afford to buy the crates and the rest of us to bad. I support what they are doing and it should be this way so that everyone has equal fun and can afford stuff. I thank you for your support, however, just because I do not have the income to afford crates does not make me or my playing any less than you. Based on your argument then they should remove crates all together and just make everything that was once in the crate on sale in the CM so it is equal to everyone. It is not about the have and have nots, I do not think Disney would approve of that. Rock on!
  2. I am sadden to hear this but does not surprise me. I played since launch and then took a long break. Does not surprise me since the game mainly focused around the cartel market. I hope it bounces back, I love SWTOR. Rock on!
  3. They should add all CM decorations to our collection and allow us to use Cartel Coins or In game currency to add more copies of the unlocked decorations to our strongholds. Much like how a player can add a copy of the decoration to their guild ship. However, this would be from our collection to the strongholds. Decorations from the CM are far to rare and the pricing is way out of control. This would be a good way SWTOR could make more money through the sale of cartel coins for unlocking more copies of decorations. Edit: Also I do like the OP idea. Rock on!
  4. They would not lose value and they are so uncommon now that you can not even decorate the way you want. Besides, players make so much money off this stuff that no one will be losing out. Your comment is total nonsense. Rock on!
  5. Why can't cartel market decorations be added to our collections and have the same ability where you can purchase a copy for your guild ship be the same from our collection to our strongholds? Trying to get cartel market decorations is very difficult and expensive. Nothing wrong with the initial purchase, however, to pay the same cost over and over again to get multiple copies of the same decoration is ridiculous. Please consider having decorations from the cartel market added to our collections. Plus consider having the decorations from older bundles drop more often. Rock on!
  6. Bioware/EA I am confused, I was under the impression that my enjoyment/experience of the game was going to be enhanced because there was this new feature being added that allowed me to dye my gear? So I am all excited about this, because now I would be able to dye my gear the colors I wanted and really immerse myself in my character and the game. However, my enjoyment/experience in the game was not enhanced, nor could I dye my gear they way I wanted. In fact the opposite happened in that my enjoyment/experience of the game has decreased and I am more frustrated now then before. Here is the issues with dye: 1.) Crew skills making dye colors and selling them on the GTN is a SUCCESS! 2.) Dye colors sold on vendors is a SUCCESS! 3.) Dye color schematics on faction vendors is a SUCCESS! 4.) Dye colors sold on the CM in random packs as (common, not common and rare) is a MAJOR FAILURE! 5.) Dye colors sold individually as primary or secondary is a SUCCESS! 6.) Dye colors sold together as a set (primary and secondary) is a FAILURE! I am a Sub and do not have an issue with buying things from the CM to support the game. The way I would recommend fixing issue number 4 listed above, is to sell the dye colors as individual items on the CM so I can BUY the dye color I want! The problem with issue number 6 is that I no longer have the option to color the way I want. I am being forced to pick from color combinations that I do not want and there is NO single alternative (sold as a individual primary OR secondary) dye color. Here is the issues with dying gear : 1.) Can dye the "primary" color of the gear is a SUCCESS! 2.) Can dye the "secondary" color of the gear is a SUCCESS! 3.) Can dye the "BASE" color of the gear is a FAILURE because you can not dye it at all. 4.) Can dye the "primary" and "secondary" color of the gear at the same time is a SUCCESS!. However, the over all problem with regards to dying the gear is that I can not dye the gear the colors I want. Most of the colors that I would want to use are "rare" in dye packs or grouped in a dye "primary/secondary" dye module where I do not like the color it is with. Plus, as stated above, I can not dye the "BASE" color because there is no option. The only recommendation to fix this is to have 3 slots on each piece of gear, primary, secondary and base color slots and then only have single dye modules to fit in each slot. I am so disappointed in they way this was implemented, because there was no consideration regarding player enjoyment/experience. It was 100% designed around "how can profit be maximized" (see random dye packs). MMOs to the player is all about the "FUN FACTOR" and once removed, then there is no point in playing the game. There is nothing wrong with the CM and making money and I support it. However, there is everything wrong with not balancing the fun factor and trying to maximize profits. I love a lot of the things you have done to the game, but you all dropped the ball on this one. Thanks
  7. 1.) It is BW responsibility to test the fix. 2.) It is BW responsibility to make sure the loop hole was not there to begin with, hence testing. 3.) BW already stated, regardless of who you want to point the finger at, that this is NOT something they support. 4.) To date there has NEVER been a MMO that has allowed a level one character to get to endgame content and advance. 5.) If it was not for the boosting on illum you could NEVER do this. 6.) If it was not for the CM, you would NEVER be able to get your character to illum at level 1. 7.) If this was a preferred method to get your character to 50 then BW would have just put a button in the game that would make you 50. 8.) The real reason for the double exp weekend is not to get NEW characters to 50, rather to get your current character to 50. This supports mainly the casual players and is a nice thank you from BW. 9.) Double exp weekend prior to new expac releases is mainly designed to bring players back to the game who might have been MIA for awhile in a hopes to get players to resub or at least purchase the expac. 10.) The grinding on illum interfered with the Gree event. If you do not get this, then you are new to MMOs or just flat out don't have a clue. I love power leveling, two boxing (been doing during the double exp weekend) and grinding. However, I have been doing this long enough to know, that no one is to blame and BW was going to fix this regardless.
  8. Allowing a level one character get to end game content and be boosted to 50 level is not not grinding because WITH OUT the boost you could NEVER do it.
  9. Thank you BW for closing this loop hole, it is the way it should be. Otherwise I am sure you all would just give us a "Ding you are level 50 button". Sorry to those that do not agree, but just because you can do something does not mean you should. I have never played an MMO that allows any level 1 player to get to the end game content and advance. So no surprise, get over it. Just be happy they are not considering it an exploit and reversing the levels or banning players.
  10. BW/EA, Since a level one can use the CM to purchase a gate to Illum through the black hole and the boosting of stats (because it is a PVP area), is allowing players to quickly grind to 50 on the double exp weekend. Then why not just skip all that and give us a button or better yet, you could make money off the CM with a instant level 50 button. Click and boom! I am level 50. If this is not an exploit, then just do what I suggested, because in the end that is what is happening and good for those who figured it out and are taking advantage of it. However, before the CM, there was no way you could get to Illum at level one. So my guess is, since you could not get to Illum at level, this is not an approved means of leveling and hence an exploit or at least an oversight on BW part. But then again the boosting of stats at level one was never intended, because it is a PVP feature and you cannot que for PVP until level 10. Plus in the early days, BW nerfed an exploit that was allowing low levels to get to illum to open boxes, so I am assuming this would classify as an exploit. I am hoping it is not an exploit and I can just have my instance level 50 button! Please BW, let us have our instant level 50 button. I so want to be able to just blindly jump into FPs and OPs. This will give me the chance to show everyone else how great I am and how they do not understand how to play this game. Because when I do FPs and OPs, I am always right and the best player! Just by reading the class definition, I have already mastered every class. Thanks, Sarcasm
  11. There is a lot of good points and I do not disagree with any. I think that if you love to spend lots of money a month on the packs, then good for you. Seems like a waste though since it is just digital 1's and 0's in a computer, you should get what you pay for. I also think that the content on the cartel market should be equally available as in game content and it is not. Hence the advertised packs that state only available on the cartel market. I also believe that we should be able to purchase anything we want individually. The random packs could stay, because for less coins you have a random chance to get a "bunch of items" for a low price. Where if I bought a speeder then that individual item could be 1200 credits or it can also have a random drop chance in game through a FP or OP. There is plenty of ways to make all the different players from f2p to subs feel like they have an equal chance at a item. My point is BW/EA (not sure which) have poor judgment and do not seem to understand how to keep a player base. Because of EA's greedy ways and how they ruin games for the fast cash, I stopped buying any game they produced years ago. Only reason I bought this was because of Bioware and Starwars. However, (I am sure I am not only one) I plan on giving this Cartel Market some time to work itself out. But If I do not see them offering what they put on the Cartel Market as "individual items", "packs" and in-game content. Then I for one will be done with this game and move on to something else. Hopefully they have learned and are listening to the current player base. If not, I will tell you now, they will lose more Subs, be left with F2P and never make their money back they invested in this game. It is simple economics (maybe they need to take some courses) but you need to keep the customer happy with a quality product or you are done. After hearing some feedback, then I say why not keep the packs, but why not have the packs sell for 360 with a chances at getting many items, also offer individual sale of those items at a higher cost and put those items in game. As for those that are all about being unique, good for you, however, I don't care what you do or do not have it is what I am interested in. Thanks
  12. Thanks jgoldsack, I did not know that. Still, it fustrates me to have a random shot at somthing then to just buy what I want. Thanks!
  13. Please make the items that are obtained from cartel packs as individual items for sale on the market. There is no point for the Cartel Packs other then a money grab from the player base. There is already 4 on the market all offer unique items and at some point there will be 5 ... 6... 7 and so on, at what point does it stop? What is your long term plan for the Cartel packs? In my opinion I think you would make more money on the market if you sold all items individually and do away with the Cartel Packs. I have 12 characters and there is some items I would like for all 12 of my characters, however, I refuse to open cartel packs to get them. But I would buy those items that are only in the Cartel Packs for all 12 of my characters, if they were individually sold on the market. Some would say, buy them off the GTN and I have. However, the older cartel pack items are drying up because no one is opening the packs and posting the items for sale. All I want to do is enjoy the game and to me that is buying specifically what I want and not buying a Cartel Pack that is more often full of random JUNK (emote, companion gift, crew skill items, toy, powerups, pet or title), then what I am looking for ( armor (plus it is not the entire set, just a piece of the set), weapon or speeder). As a Sub I do like the cartel market and will support the game by buying items, however, I see the Cartel Packs as nothing short of a way to take advantage of the players ........ Bioware/EA , it is not the players fault that you all made poor choices that resulted in loosing a large amout of the Sub player base. So live with it and stop trying to nickle and dime the players who have stuck around. Thanks
  14. I understand what you are saying, but it is also my point. Why should I have to play one character up just to unlock the legacy system before I can do anything else? Thanks
  15. Currently none of your characters apply exp to the legacy system until after the legacy system is unlock. The legacy system did not unlock until roughly 32nd level for one of my characters. I know I am not the only one that plays several characters from day one and levels them all up together until they get to 50. Please fix it so that ALL exp from characters already created are applied to the Legacy system when it is unlocked. It is very short sighted to think that everyone will only play one character to 50 (or to at least past 32nd level) and unlock the legacy system on the way before playing any other characters. This is very simple to fix, all you have to do is ensure that the sum of all exp from currently created characters is equal to the total sum of all exp that is to be applied to the legacy system. Simple SQL, run it against the database and then put the logic in the unlocking of the legacy system. There you go, complaint and solution all in one post. P.S. This is assuming that exp is what contributes to the legacy exp. If it is not then the same point still applies to what ever measurement they use to apply to the legacy system. Thanks
  16. I used SLI in beta with only one issue that is easily fixed. I had flickering in full screen mode when the game starts up. Just goto window mode and then jump back into full screen mode and the issue is gone. I reported the issue so hopefully it gets fixed. Other than that no issues.

  18. Wow, this sounds like the elitist type attitude that I have been talking about in many threads on this site. Thanks for the example. I love how you made the example fit your need. How about pointimg out how the damage meters are used to force players to min/max, in other words play your style of game. Hey elitist, why don't you take your min/maxing else where and stop trying to force it on others.
  19. Why stop inviting? There is no reason why you can not keep inviting around the clock.
  20. Nope, it is only people like you who think that if I am not doing max DPS 100% of the time there is something wrong and that is not true. Bottomline, just because you or anyone else thinks I need to be doing what YOU think is correct does not make you right, just the fact that you have an opinion and that is it.
  21. Nope there is no need for this and the way I play my character is none of your business. I hope bioware never allows this capability. This type of addon ruined WoW for a lot of people, because all the elitist throught they were entitled to tell you how to play the game.
