I think OP is like me... we are the new generation... although I'm 34... like the OP, we don't socialize and won't socialize without incentives. We ask questions like why should we make friends? There is no reason to because we simply like to be left alone. If we make friends, there is no tangible benefits. Will they do our Laundry and Cook for us if we invite them to SWTOR? Will they be excited play SWTOR or will they hate you in the future for wasting their life? Socializing is a lost art. None of us do it anymore. Socializing in a virtual game doesn't mean your good at socializing. And because signing up friends actually requires us to step out the door and making friends and interaction... although this was the norm pre-internet / AOL chat days where reading a physical nondigital book brought delight. Simply put... the OP says no to friends.

I was very surprised how expansive this system is and how much thought and process they have put into this plan. I certainly don't know what you were expecting. Everyone grinds and alts... it's called MMO. You want to play one toon..... they will allow you to buy all abilities. If your not pleased then it's time to quit and GUILD WARS 2 IS GOING TO BE A JOKE.

Unfortunately we are Crew Skill Lovers have been suffering with nothing to craft that anyone feel that is desirable. This is a great news for the Crew Skill community. I'm sure as the game evolves, there will be gear that match the difficulties of the OPS. For now Let us enjoy it....

It's true not all MMOs are created equal. You need a strong gaming company with good strategy and fixes to keep the game a live. I think Bioware plus Star Wars theme will keep it alive. Rift had a lot of hype at the beginning but it did not have what SWTOR has... SWTOR has EA backing and it's from Bioware a premier gaming company.

People act like $14.95 or whatever the sub price is sacred. Like most have mentioned... if your on your way out... Patch 1.2 is not going to save you. And you do need patience... if you don't want to just cancel for a few months then come back. How do you think WOW went from 500k Subscribers in their first year to 12.5 Million? I'm sure they went through the same issues SWTOR is going through now. It's just that expectations are higher. But I just have to say ... $14.95 is not a lot of money at all... if this is a lot of money then you shouldn't be playing this game. My dinner is already $85. But then again I live in NYC so it's different.

It's only a game. What kind of trust are we talking about? Bioware is a reputable company and once again it's a game. Patience is required for new MMO's. As the above poster ...way above who canceled... he may come back in 10 months and have a different experience than the one he has now. It's all expectation. Most of us played WOW so the bar on our expectation is higher. Just like my boss who thinks Windows 7 should load up in 5 seconds on all his computers because we put one SSD on one of his computers. Expectation raised.

This is why they don't want to give specific dates... They even said possibly Early April. On the video a few months back they said around March but it wasn't a solid date. Things happen so it got pushed back... so what If you can't live waiting another month +... i suggest to reevaluate your life. Sorry OP not saying you... just in general.

What I'm really interested is the details for the Legacy System which they will discuss around 3:30PM CST. It's going to be interesting. One month pass by fast when your a busy person like me with Evening Classes and Full Time Job. If you live off your family and don't work... it's going to be a long month for you lol.

BTW I play casually so i don't have any problems dying 50 times in a HM OPS on the weekend. Still able to easily pay for repairs. Unless you OPS everyday then there is something horribly wrong with your guild and you should quit now lol and find competent players lol.

But he's not in Columni gear and not doing Operations. he's just dying alot... if your paying 17k for repairs at 39... you gotta be a really bad player seriously.. If you hit daily and weekly PVP's you make excess of 100k easily. I make 1 Million to 2 Million Credits a day if i tried. Generally I get 400k from doing the dailies and PVPing... one day of pve farm sets you up for the whole week +.

Dude this game is already casual. What are you talking about? Why do you think a lot of players already unsubscribed because there is no content at 50. For casuals it's fine because they just started hitting those end game content. This game gets as casual as it gets... I been playing MMO for 15+ years now. I've never seen a game more casual than SWTOR. It took WOW a while to get casual like it is now. If you think this game is no casual... you need to rethink playing MMO's lol.

I'm sorry to say but you are in the .00001% who would think that. I think you need to craft less and do some more leveling... earn some credits first before trying to craft your way to 400 without a main to support it.

The PVP set is PVE, no expertise on it. Many say its good because it's awesome at 40 with the stats and most level 40 pvp set looks better than the 50 pvp sets.

They will likely input some system for you to turn in certain items to obtain the Alloy, however it probably requires PVE

If your waiting for Patch 1.2 to be the make or break of your SWTOR gaming experience then you need to quit now. It's not going to make it that much better okay. Crew Skills will be better... PVP somewhat revamped who knows.. Legacy with some cute stuff New PVP warzone, new flashpoints, ops. All these new things will died in less than a weeks time. So if you wish to quit... might as well do it now. I know there is nothing really to do at 50 right now... but I enjoy them game... if your already questioning and waiting for a patch to make your day, it's time to move on.

I can't believe there is a tracer QQ. We all know who to blame for all this tracer QQ. Bioware. They put that awful sound along with pulling missiles out of our private areas. That sound alone causes riots and QQ's for nerf. Tracer Missiles in itself doesn't do enough dps to intelligent players who goes LOS. Only incompetent players get owned in the line of fire by tracer missiles. Our true power is HeartSeeker!!!!
