  1. oh ...my ...god. So the masses on the forums cry out because they can't use their cooldowns. BW fixes it and changes it so they can, then they complain they can't see their icons and it's too bright. so they introduce this which allows you to change what you want to see as many have asked for, which shows they listen to the community! Get it out of your thick head that BW only has one team working on one thing at a time, please, you have to have more common sense than that. Oh and for the record, people like you i seriously dont get. you're on the forum, meaning you must at one point seen the many videos BW released about new content, which included customisable UIs (scale position etc) which is coming soon and yet you still post your drivel. Think before you post or dont post at all.
  2. it's you whos broken. it clearly says that more will be revealled at a later date for the legacy system, and yet you still take the stupid path of zerging to it and then cry like a baby when you don't get anything because, guess what, it's not the "later date" that you were told about yet.
  3. there are lots of robes and gear items that resemble the look on both the left and right. The only reason that they don't resemble that in game is because you can't use your *********** hood at the same time as a *********** helmet! grrrrr i'm agrivated!
  4. you can't complain that there's nothing to do in TOR if you skipped the whole story leveling experienced just to hit 50 asap. It is a story based MMO, your own fault if you chose not to enjoy that part.
  5. tbh there's nothing wrong with it. I fail to see how people cannot see their abilities during global cooldown or when using classes like a JK or SW etc when as soon as you use an ability (most abilities that are hit in quick succession have like 15 sec CD or less) you can plainly see the icon when the cooldown graphic is over it. So many people who seem to enjoy constantly looking at their action bars because they can't memorise hotkeys yet they can't use their eyes to identify abilities over that second (which is plenty) interval between the bright cooldown graphic lighting up the ability and the graphic turning the ability black as it nears it's end.
  6. um no, it's dificult to "mash buttons" when you use hotkeys like Ctrl+space ctrl+e ctrl+f and then 1 through 6 with a few others like e, f, q etc. it only takes like a day max to become efficent at it, plus as i'm at work pretty much 10 hours a day i only have a couple of hours a day to play so i'm not even 50 yet. still questing, using defensives to survive bad situations etc. beat the sorc questline on Voss at lvl 44 against elites 3 levels higher than me without breaking a sweat. No way i could of done that while clicking with the amount of movement involved.
  7. i agree compelety tbh. Not affecting me, i know where my abilities are and i know the rotation i use.
  8. lol as i'm at work i can't see this new change, but...seriously? ou're raging because you can't see what ability is on CD? are you this bad at the game? Please tell me you've only just started, because after level 20-25 you should of already memorised what ability is where on your bars or are you constantly scanning them for your next ability? O.o MMO communities getting worse everyday.
  9. wait, so at first the icon was blacked out while the CD graphic, then the icon was normal while the CD graphics was on, and now that they've changed it again after all the QQ, people still can't play with it? i'm at work and so i can't see the new change they must of made today. What's so astronomically bad about it?
  10. i'm planning on hitting 50 within a few weeks of 1.2 going live. gives me a bit of time to wander around as 50 doing a few things, maybe a couple of HM FPs etc befre i level a new char using the legacy system updates. that'll keep me busy for the next few months till GW2 releases.
  11. tbh most games do that, look at all the cloth gear in WoW, most of it is metal lol. And most of the paladin gear is cloth. they'll likely release the updated "match gear to chest" system they had in the beta, they posted that they removed it for a better idea that they're still working on. So looking to that.
  12. There are alot of these at around the level 38-45 range on the GTN, but tbh i'd prefer the gear that the last boss in the foundry wears (won't spoil it for others by saying his name) also, that gear is also seen on various NPCs in Voss). Looks very egyptian themed itself but, gold thread and patterns etc.
  13. 2nd paragraph: crafting in TOR is too focused on your self, and not on the market. Nothing really to sell. The crafting in SWG was much better, it'd be good to go back to that idea. 3rd paragraph: small groups (smaller than 5man) are too small for FPs and don't offer enough ermsion with enough class variation. As a result, players are taking PVP over PVE causing PVE to become barren, too little amount of players in the pool to create a group with. OT - this should be in the suggestions forum i think i'm on the middle ground on both of these points.
  14. seriously. you can't go around the world thinking nothing's ever going to affect you. you're not the only one in it. If they change the time from 2am it'll affect someone else then they'll complain. Suck it up and deal with it, or go play something else while the servers are down.
  15. it wouldn't be feesable if you think that they'd have to make more and more areas with higher level mobs. Or maybe you mean the leveling process after 50 gets so slow that by the time you reach 60, it's given the developers time enough to create a lvl 60 zone? and then again at lvl 70 and so on? the game would be way too huge. I supose you could play with the idea of mobs health and damage changing dynamically as you do, but that would present a new problem, what if you're wandering around with a level 30. those mobs would stay at level 30 for him and you'd be bored. You seriously can't present things like this unless you think of the bigger picture. Where is this development for all the new areas gona come from? how slow would the leveling process be? etc etc. you'd need to redesign the entire game for this to work. In a way, GW 2 does this, using dynamic events rather than questing which is pretty neat but i still believe there is a level cap. Also level caps allow for new expansions. These serve multiple purposes. It's an enticement or something to look forward to for the player. It opens up new content, and a new level cap giving them more stuff to do at a pre-determined time. And it also gives the developers the cash to work on bigger and better things while the subscriptions mostly pay for the uptime and support as well as the constant additions to the current world/bugfixing etc etc (inc flame about "what bugfixes?!")
