i dont get the crafting stuff.. because its easier at max? has nothing to do with 12X.. grinding OPs and FPs is called "endgame", its been this way for years, it becomes obsolete with new expansions.. i get it, you worked hard, now you want anyone else to have it as hard as you had it.. you can be that, but with endgame stuff, clear the latest and hardest OPs/FPs.. but please stop beeing selfish about irrelevant stuff, beeing lvl 50 or 55 with maxed professions is nothing to brag about.

where did i say that my 40 bucks are giving me any rights? we are discussing things.. i bought the CE and 2 months gametime, the game wasnt worth my time back then, now i came back to do the thing i enjoyed, playing the class story. btw, this isnt about "winning", theres just no argument for "12X should not return". Not for the playerbase that wants to play the quality content (+ lets put an option to disable it in) and not for bioware, because it brings them money. SoR+sub required

first, i said "filler", bcuz someone claimed that more stuff to do while leveling would be great. second, getting people up to the new content is still relevant, so 12X has its place till 55. You know, the other MMO company, the big one, nerfed their old content into the ground - vanilla leveling took me 14 days /played, now its possible in 1-2 days. I guess they already have their 12X .. but not only on weekends, all the time!

i guess the 12X attracted lots of ppl, they invested 40 bucks, so thats great for bioware. if they enjoy the game and stay, its a win-win, if they leave, they still payed for it. nobody gets hurt, its alright. im pretty sure theres no study behind your claim, that ppl consume fast and leave. i bought the collectors at release, played for 2 months, hated the bonusquests (kill 20, 25, 30.. ), this engine and left. now im back, enjoyed the 12X and would lvl some more characters - but i wont, until 12X returns (without it, its a waste of my time). and you are correct, i like the 12X leveling way more than engame, playing 8 stories takes 120hrs(15per class)?, double that for every arch, remember that ppl work and sleep and you have yourself a sub for some months. better than no sub at all.

nobody wants "filler", we want QUALITY content, the class story has quality. the reason 12X brought many peoples back, is because they had FUN, no need to do any bonusquests to kill 30 of this and that.. focus on the amazing story. MMOs in 2014 dont need grind and boring fillerstuff - thats back in the 90s, leave it there. Let ppl play the way they want, i want 12X xp, im fine if the option to disable it is there - i would never use it, but its none of my business. Dont be so mad and make it hard for the ppl that want to focus on the core story - and btw, noone cares about 1-55 content now that lvl 60 is here. its like "please dont make 1-60 in WoW easier, because its serious business.."

i seriously dont get the point on why 12x XP is bad (when it ends with lvl 55). the content is 3 years old and the class stories are the best thing about it. ppl say "noone wants noobs in lvl 12 greens", guess what, they get 162 gear now for free (forged alliances) - even "they dont know how to play their characters", i lvld 2 chars to 55, and some storyquests were pretty hard without gear. i guess you actually need to L2P to progress through that. Imo buying the xpac and having a subscription should be enough. Some ppl want it to be a legacy unlock (lvl 50 lol..), CC unlock and whatnot.. why beg BW to make it hard/expensive to get? SWTOR is a game you should enjoy, bringing back players and getting new players should be the focus. This is 2014, most people dont want long a** grinds anymore, its about instant gratification, not "farm mob X for 96hrs". We've all been there, done that.

IMO, thats far worse than FFA - and bioware had all the chances to make this staggered release a good thing. First, the guild deployment system, so they had a pretty good idea where they can put the people. Second, 4 starting zones (BH+IA, SI+SW, + the 2 on the Republic side), compared to 2 starting zones in the last 2 WoW expansions. Third, those zones are even "zoned"! Fourth, all those stresstests and betas, to check out what they are capable of. It couldve been soo smooth, they knew almost exactly what will happen, but just failed. Europe awakes and the servers are empty! If it wouldve been FFA, SO many more people could play now.. I prefer waiting in a (up to) 5 hours queue with some lag - than waiting for.. dunno? Maybe 1-4 days from now? FFA could never be that bad. Still - if everyone is in on the 15th, without any lag or server crashes, it could be somewhat OK for me - everything else is EPIC fail.
