Wanted to come back to this thread and post what finally worked for me in case it can help others with this issue. I sent 2 other GTX 980 FTW cards back to Nvidia under warranty and I am now on my 3rd card. First card would black screen 5 times or more a day. Second card was way better, only did it maybe once a day. Third card I am on now is a disaster. It Black screens 10 times an hour. This only happens in swtor, no other games have issues with this card that I have found. Now all these cards are same Model EVGA GTX 980 FTW cards, all had same BIOS version to. So I finally found a thread on something I never tried. For EVGA cards they have a utility called Precision X that lets you change the clock speeds and a few other card settings for overclocking etc... Threads I found said to lower your GPU Clock Offset speed -25 -50, or -100. I had to go all way down to -100 and it did work. No more Black screens at all for a week so far. Now I should say I have not tried running Operations or WZs yet, I just been doing solo stuff, but I used to get the Black Screens constantly doing solo content and now I don't. So good luck if you try this cause I was about to give the game the boot.

Figured so, with testing I been doing I have got some from Bountiful and Rich only. thanks for your input

Do you only get the Purple mats from the Rich mission yields? Cause I just ran 30 of the missions that are under 4 minute run time/Abundant, Moderate and got nothing just to see what would happen. Seems the shorter run time/ Abundant, Moderate missions do not give them often if at all. Then I just ran 4 Rich/Bountiful missions and got a purples on first round. These are the 7 minute plus missions.

1) Option box to Remove that Light Dark banner from appearing (which everyone is complaining about anyways) 2) Option box to remove the "Trilella's Stronghold" banner from appearing when I am in my own Stronghold) I can do the Ctrl+U twice fast to get rid of it, but it should not stay on for more then a few seconds anyways.

Would be nice if they warned you a Imp or light character will pick light and dark choices if you skip chapters. If I would of had a warning like that I would of never skipped anything. I don't care for Koth either, but I like collecting companions so I still want him And like others have said I might be able to get him back in Alliance HQ companion mission terminal.

I am not running anymore Imp side characters by skipping KOTFE 10-16 until I hear back from support on the issue. So if I have to I will just do all of those missed chapters. Also I wonder if I go and do them anyways since they are in that chapter menu option if that changes things again on how companions like you..

I always pick light side choices and in his info it looks like he says I picked dark side and I do not do that so something is messed up. In his info sheet in one line he says "Koth Appreciates your decision to prevent the destruction of the Spire" Very next line says "Horrified at your destruction of the Spire, Koth has had enough, He has abandoned the Alliance" This is total BS. and there are several other lines about stuff I did not do that ticked him off. I never did Chapter 10-16 in KOTFE and these dark side choices are part of those chapters that he is mad about. So its like skipping these chapters for some reason on this SITH Sorcerer toon it automatically filled in dark choices for me The other 4 toons I have done before where all Rep side toons and I skipped chapters 10-16 on them also and did not have this problem. I hope support can fix this

I just checked his companion info and I did not do any of the stuff he says I did and why he hates me.

I do not remember answering anything to tick Koth off but now he calls me a Tyrant in kotet chapter 1. I did this same chapter on 4 other characters and Koth had no problem with them, so what the heck is going on, is this a bug maybe? I did skip kotfe chapters 10-16 and went right into kotet chapter 1. But I did this on 3 of the other 4 character same way and Koth still liked them so I am baffled.

lol if they only had 1 Jawa Junk and entered 1000 for disintegration then they knew it and deserve a temporary ban, a week or a month. But yeah they will not perma ban them I am sure, can't afford to lose a paying sub. But if they are a F2P then who knows

Well wonder what they will do with the exploiters? Cause we all know a bunch did it that discovered it. Certain players always look for ways to cheat the system

I could not find a option to turn it off and no one else seems to know either, so I assume Bio just did not put a option in the game.

This is really annoying. Did not mind it the first few times and am not even sure what it's for yet and really don't care right now. JUST GET RID OF IT ASAP

I mean why do we even need a giant banner about it in the first place. Not like I am going to go at game any harder trying to do something about it. I just want a option to turn the notice off or at least change it to a simple text message in yellow in the chat message windows. Actually another color that stand out would be better, anything is better then that giant banner all the time. Heck even just the noise is enough to alert you to look at your Text window to see whats up.

I am not even going to play for awhile till bugs are ironed out a bit, always happens with a new expansion and rather then get ticked off at game I just don't really play

Not sure about all the buffs but HP are raised on your companion when you buff them. You can just watch the HP bar move when you do it. So not sure about rest, but it is annoying me that they keep coming off constantly on all my companions on all 9 characters.

I tried that sorting by total price option and it does remember your sort order long as you do not pick unit price. So thanks for that cause it helps for way I search.

What I do and maybe I am doing it wrong but this is my way of sorting when looking to buy something. I pick the category>subcategory>stats(if I want a stat)>level range. Then click search and change sort order to low to high. Low to high is a must, you can not tell me you do not look at the price of a item before you buy, that would be ridicules. When it's sorted low to high I of course look at the item level, stats and price before I buy. How I do it anyways, do not see how anyone can say they do not sort low to high in the end.

Ok, maybe it's harder to code then I assume, but still should of been fixed long ago. I should not have to always click the sort by price each time I look for a new item as long as I do not close the GTN and reopen it again. I am sure EVERYONE searches from low to high credits. Why the heck would you want to search high to low, every one buys low of course.

I would think after all these years this game has been out the GTN should not be doing this. I almost always sort by low to high credit wise, this in actuality should be the default order anyways, but when I enter the GTN and change the sort order to low to high and then I shift click on a different item to search for that the order now is changed again and I have to always redo it. This is just absurd and annoying. Seems a little small bit of coding would of fixed this long ago.

I have all 4 buffs from my other characters when I cast mine cause I finished the Legacy unlock, but almost every time I dismount from my vehicle the buffs are no longer on the companion and I have to reactivate them. Do the buffs do anything for companions anyways? I know for most solo stuff we do it probably does not matter, maybe just on harder fights it helps if at all. But whats the deal on why it always comes off?

Been back a little while and I have done SoR on a few toons and all of KOTFE, but should I do the same on all the other toons or just jump right to KOTFE? Would I be missing anything, like special loot or Crystals. I think SoR gave me about 300 CDCs but is it really worth doing it? I think once I start KOTFE I loose all my companions until I reach a certain point and get them back. I leveled 6 of them up in rank a bit and would lose them for awhile and that kind of stinks.
