  1. Hey, so i havent played this game since launch, but i decided to play again! i noticed alot of the leveling has been streamlined. My question is can i skip the side missions? and just do the main story and the purple planet quest thingies? i was doing some research and if i do all the quests including side missions i would overlevel the area? is that correct? Thanks

  3. I main a Sin and i consider myself quite good. Both specs are lacking in comparison to others. This is not to say Assassin is not viable..i guess i can be, but lets face it, its the lowest parsing class atm. I have a operative that i main now for nightmare. Sin can be viable in NIM, because i have seen progression guilds bring them, but the player has to be extraordinary to compete with everyone else. Most players cant do this, so do yourself a favor and play something else.
  4. Well, as a deception assassin im currently in the progressive runs for my guild, but im hardly a permanent member. Our guild doesnt have that many good DPS atm, so i have a place..for the the time being. Our team has 3 other snipers..and me . They mostly out dps me, but im no slouch, depends highly on the fight. Im starting to play around with balance because its better for certain fights, but im comfortable with deception atm. If you have the choice, and your not attached to your sin, go sniper. But as someone else mentioned its more about the player than the class, well, for the most part.

  6. 1. SWG - It was just an amazing sandbox of a game. You could be a doctor in the day (heal peoples wounds at the med centre) at night? be a unarmed combat master killing womp rats. It was just amazing. 2. WOW - As much as i hate to say it, WOW is an amazing MMO. It was revolutionary when it came out, and MMOS copy its formula even now. I only started played at Wrath, and TBH im not even a diehard fan of the MMO. I just can appreciate what it did for the genre. 3. Age of Conan - When it came out it had so much potential. The combat was fun and interesting, the graphics were mind blowing, some of the PVP aspects were great! just disappointing what happened to it. 4. Warhammer Online - The WOW killer, not many liked it, i did. I like its take on Public quests (something GW2 perfected) and the PVP stuff was good. I mean it was basically WOW, but it did it quite well i thought. 5. SWTOR - Since im playing it now, ill put it on the list lol. The questing is the best thing this game has to offer. Its downright amazing. Even non MMO fans should play this game up to 40 at least. The game is fun (Im biased since im a Star Wars fan) but i enjoy the game. Theres improvements that can be made, but its engaging enough.
  7. Seems like a cool UI. I still use the default UI (which is strange since i used to play WOW, and i upgraded the **** out of my UI with mods constantly). Ill have to check out your UI.
  8. This game is still fairly new, i could say give it time etc etc, but i guess people dont care
  9. This game isnt perfect, but it doesnt need all this negativity. Theres constructive criticism and just pure trolling. The developers need to work hard though, since GW2 and MOP are coming out soon, this is make or break really. I dont want this game to be a failure, i hope it isnt the case.
  10. WAR was great, i mean it had keeps on each area you take over, invade enemy cities to get better gear, it was fun. I think GW2 WvW will be reminisent of this, possibly even better, but that game doesnt interest me from a MMO stand point, i like progression. Id even settle for a Restuss (from SWG) where at least it was kind of like open world pvp, but not quite.
  11. Instead of the CE, invite a friend and get that sweet *** mount. Way better than anything the CE offers.
  12. Restuss was ok, but got boring real fast. But i used to PVP to actually PVP, alot of people just wanted to keep their rank stable Open PVP can exist anywhere, you just need people to be there, and without incentives why would they? I guess this is less the case in a PVP server, but that being said, MORE PVP.
