they have stated that they will continue to release new episodes on a monthly(?) basis. You will need to pay/sub to get them, but you wont need to pay for each episode. you can get the first x amount, unsub for 6 months, resub for a month and unlock the follow 6 episodes and unsub again.

they arent deleting old content (aside from lvl 50 NIM EV/KP Ops). However, when you start KOTFE you will not be able to continue on the previous class and planet stories that preceded it. You will still be able to go to those planets though. Also, they are removing the staged makeb weeklies and some achievements obtained through your companions. im thinking its less of a movie and more of a subscription "RPG" television series. Similar to the subscription netflix model, but also playing through the series at your own pace and with "your own" decisions on the outcomes.

I was also thinking about those basic commendation containers that we got with SOR. What will happen if you open them after 4.0? will they also just be renamed to common data crystal container?

id go with either tython, alderaan, or dantooine. They all seem to have my kind of scenery.

legacy names were originally unique and it was changed within a year. its unlikely they will reverse the change now.

commanders there have always been easy to solo. make use of your stuns and knock backs. if they are on CD then LOS when you see them channel. Use your aggro dump and have your companions take aggro, heal up for a moment then go back on the attack.

i would also like an answer to this. The kell dragon gear has been the best looking gear for OPS so far (at least for empire characters). and the dread masters gear is very cool too.

I have no doubt about that, the forum information is never updated to reflect changes. I spent last evening on gtn searching for some of these unlocks. Bought a couple (account) outfit designer slots for 160k each, an account guild bank access for 3.5 mil, and an account quickslots for 1.5mil. The main thing I will keeping my eyes open for is the account artifact unlock thing.

right. those are just the character version, not the account wide?

i currently have close to 12k CC's all from monthly grants. i think i get something like 800/month right now. I think it might be worth it for some people who have been with the game for a while. im not certain, but Im thinking that many unlocks can be bought with credits. They will just be the character unlock version, not the account. Just go out an buy a bunch of each for current and possible future characters with your credits before dropping sub.

it looks like i will keep GM status as long as there isnt anyone in the guild who is a subscriber. i dont plan on going preferred until a month or so after KOTFE releases, and then sub for 1 month every 6 months to catch up on the story. the ops passes work for any op, right? monthly cartel coin grants, no doubt i lose the 500/month for subbing, but will i continue to get 100/month for the security key and for any friend referrals?

unfortunately I am not as entertained by the game as I use to be. I only log in now to raid, and I am definitely not interested in running all the vanilla ops again as progression. So logging in maybe twice a week for 6 hours just isnt worth it, I just feel obligated to stay with my raid group. along with everything Max said.. there truly is an illusion of individuality in the game now. aside from strongholds and gear customization slots, of course.
