  1. It would be interesting to make a non official bug tracker page that tracks all the bugs in the game, see if that "helps" them fix the many simple and silly things like this they don't care about.
  2. I thought it was fixed at some point, if it wasn't you are really undeserving swtor
  3. A toggle would be great, this is really needed, like tomorrow. Also DarthRandom, edit your post and mention that red dots on the minimap are being hidden by the purple circles, thanks!
  4. Some time after the original post UI changed, but we still need this. I think a checkbox to show/hide raid/class buffs/debuffs on operation frames and player (de)buff trays should be simple enough to implement.
  5. Didn't mean to include you or the community in "we", just people I know and what I have had as personal experience since I started doing ops.
  6. It's not about them wanting this, but not caring enough to hire the needed amount of qualified personnel, they just choose to save some money and tolerate the bad publicity. Probably Eric and many other employees aren't underpaid, but those that do the coding and testing have to be underpaid or working too much. I know programming is hard, I know making a game is hard, but it is their job, if they are qualified to do it there is a problem in planning or budget in the company. So after all someone's fault and that person is inside the company, so I think it is ok for people to complain.
  7. I like your idea but I don't think it could be done easily by swtor programmers, that's why I made a different post. Just keep it the same but with more toons on list
  8. Wouldn't be easier for you to compare the code from before and after the bug? Or maybe look in whatever system you use for entries related to changes in gtn code between before and after the bug? Hopefully you have this kind of system in place, small and medium open source projects written by a single person already have them. So if you don't, it might be a good opportunity to convince the people upstairs to migrate to a system of your choice, that you can use to track and control changes in code.
  9. OFC they hire, they hire some paid by hour programmers from 3rd world countries, no taxes and low prices, like 2 USD per hour. Only the ppl that supervise them maybe have a steady job.
  10. Things have changed, TC hm is rarely done these days, but for many other bosses we still have to waste time running inside the operation to the boss area when we wipe. Is not so bad if you wipe one time but if you are doing hm or nim progression, it becomes really painful.
  11. I find it hard to believe I'm the only one annoyed by that extra loading time : <
  12. I still haven't seen a valid reason why to not implement this, and because it would be optional, I don't see any disadvantage on it. It seems weird to me that a lot of people would oppose to this change and can't show a reason why, or how it would affect them in a negative way.
  13. Maybe we need 2 legacy names? one to find/identify people, and the other for spouses. I seriously doubt that was the reason they made them not unique, but who knows, sometimes stupid things happen. Still considering your points I believe the advantages of making it unique as in my proposal are more, and have more reasoning.
