I'm thinking so. I had the same problem, did all the things mentioned and still didn't get the option to defect. So I ran through it again, this time making no dark side choices from chapter 2 on, and maxed out my light side alignment. Got the option to defect this time. So it looks like being light aligned is at least part of the requirement.

I didn't see this mentioned before when I skimmed through the thread so sorry if it's already been stated, but I think it would be awesome to have Rori Fenn's and Shae Koda's armor from the Dawn of the Jedi series. I wasn't able to find any decent pictures online, but they have a full body drawing of each in issue #0 of the Dawn of the Jedi comic.

I was just curious if there was any reason as to why the headpieces were not included in these sets? Each has a distinct headpiece that matches the armor and in the past whenever they've done character armor sets they've always included any headpieces. So why were these left out?

Do forgive me if these suggestions have already been made, I just came upon this thread. Two things regarding companions: 1. Once you reach full affection with them you really have no interaction with them at all. I know extra conversations aren't exactly a 'papercut' (especially given all that goes into creating them), but down the line it might be nice to see something like a rotating daily conversation between you and one of the companions. Have the BH go on a hunting trip with Torian, the Agent visit the Killik hive with Vector, maybe the Trooper take everyone out bar hopping for some R&R. Even if this did become a bit repetitive after time (like all dailies inevitably do) you would still get the chance to interact with them rather than have them as window dressing on the ship. 2. The Jedi ship needs crew quarters. Every other ship has quarters where your companions presumably sleep. With the Knight/Consular ship all there is besides your own quarters is a bed in the medical bay and some couches. I'm not sure how exactly this could be remedied because re-arranging the ship itself to accommodate additional sleeping quarters doesn't seem practical, but perhaps the Jedi Council, taking note of the fact that the ship they gave you has limited space and you now have a crew, could give you an entirely new ship once you hit 50.

This is an awesome idea. Provided enough options are given to customize them of course, but that shouldn't be too hard. Just make sure there are many types of base shapes for the crest, symbols to be placed in various locations on said crest, and a wide array of color options for those symbols and backgrounds.

I already posted in another thread, but seeing as how this one seems to be the longest and the OP lists other threads I figured I'd post here as well. Yes, please, more character slots. I was looking forward to playing a couple different classes twice just to see how different I could make things by doing the complete opposite of the first toon. But because I'm a story junky I also want to play all the different classes so I can experience all different sides to the story. Add to that the new race unlocks that will come with the legacy system and there's no way only 8 slots can accommodate all that. I don't want to have to make toons on different servers just so I can play a class more than once. Again, please more character slots. Twelve would be nice, but sixteen would be awesome.
