  1. You will not lose anything per say but lose the ability to use them. Things like extra characters and item color levels will be locked out. Once you renew the locks go away.
  2. For those who don't know, in the beta you had the ability to kill your companions one way or another. The most common cited example being Quinn's betrayal where you had the ability to force choke him to death rather than to an inch of his life. However this ability was removed before the game was launched to the public. I have heard many reasons why but now I think it is time to bring it back to the game because you can kill two companions (one DPS, other any role) without having much trouble finding a replacement for them now. I can see SWTOR introducing new companions into the game over time, given the success of HK and Treek. This I think will make the reintroduction of killing your companions more feasible. So that is my suggestion, bring back the ability to kill your companions.
  3. Voss mystic robe that's been dyed red/purple.
  4. That could be something to get into character for. Have no loyalties to the Empire, rather use them as a vehicle to help your character uncover dark side lore. Would be appropriate given that inquisitors consider themselves masters of the dark side.
  5. My Sith Sorcerer Supisy'Sivron. As an apprentice. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Supisy/1.png http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Supisy/2.png http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Supisy/3.png When she became a Sith Lord I updated her outfit to reflect her status. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Supisy/4.png http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Supisy/5.png http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Supisy/6.png http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Supisy/7.png
  6. I have a female Twi'lek inquisitor toon and I think I can answer some of these questions from my point of view of how I developed her based on my research of the SW universe and tying it in to my character Let's begin with the slavery thing. Your character, like mine was a slave. But we were also discovered to be force sensitive. That's an important thing to consider among the Empire because the Sith Emperor's edict is for all force sensitives who are under the jurisdiction of the Empire to be sent to Korriban to be trained as Sith or die. Since you were already on Korriban when your force sensitivity was discovered you didn't have a choice in the matter, so off your toon went. The Sith Code tells us is that the power of the force shall break our chains and set us free, and as such us being force sensitive freed our toons from the chains of slavery. Tying it in with my toon it is very common for twi'lek females to be used as slaves or dancers because of their beauty. She does detest slavery but at the same time slavery among her people is so common it has become an institution of sorts, and a very profitable one at that. The Empire's relationship with alien species is complicated. Yes there are members of the Empire (both sith and non-sith) who are xenophobic however at the same time you have two alien species entrenched into the Empire, the Chiss and Sith Purebloods. So it's not that they completely turn their backs on aliens. The Sith species were discovered by the dark Jedi long before the empire existed. The dark Jedi discovered the force sensitivity of the species and subjected them and made their home with them on Korriban. Eventually they interbred with them. The Chiss became part of the Empire after they surrendered to them and became allies. But they still have their own culture and society separate from the Empire. My toon is aware of the xenophobia persistent within the empire and is reminded of it. But she stands her ground and throws it back at them, telling them their attitude stinks or expressing her discontent of their views. She's along the thought of I am alien, I am Sith, suck it up and deal with it. She can care less about their views. At face value there is very little reason for an alien slave to be loyal to the Empire and my toon is the same way. My toon actually can care less about the Empire but she does have some loyalty to it. After all it was the Empire that took her out of slavery because of the Emperor's edict, and after proving herself in the tombs of Korriban she has a place among the Empire, despite her status as a alien and ex-slave. But she does want to see some changes and it is her hope among her position in the Sith Order she can nudge those changes. On the issue with Kalig. It is actually a simple one to resolve. Twi'leks and humans can interbreed and produce hybrids. It was made canon with Shaeeah and Jek Lawquane in The Clone Wars series episode "The Deserter". Their mother was a Twil'lek named Suu Lawquane and their father was a unknown human.
  7. For your purposes they don't need force leap or saber throw. Shadows have force pull. It pulls targets to them and also generates a high amount of threat.
  8. It is entirely possible for a pure blood to come from the inquisitor background. The pure bloods had a caste system which included a slave caste. The pure blood inquisitor came from that caste.
  9. Sentinel I am working on. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Sahuna-5.png http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Sahuna-6.png http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Sahuna-8.png http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Nightshade_photos/SWTOR/Sahuna-9.png
  10. Gee give me a reason to study for my final tomorrow. Thanks a bunch EA!
  11. Haha...Notice he didn't bounce that well.
  12. Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep an eye on him if I see him. BTW do you happen to have any screenshots of it?
  13. That made me laugh for a good minute.
  14. I am actually enjoying playing my LS Sorc. But she isn't without her flaws. A little background info. She is a twi'lek that doesn't care all that much about the Empire. After all she has two strikes against her when it comes to Empire society. One, she's an alien and we all know how much the empire loves aliens, and two she was a slave, which are the lowest class of Empire. She does enjoy her relative freedom going around and exploring the galaxy. However she does have principals and knows the value of allies to consolidate her power and influence in the Empire. She doesn't torture when interrogating someone since she thinks it's a useless tool and she doesn't kill unless they threaten her with violence or they betray her. She applies this to both non force sensitives and force sensitives. Plus some other things that would be non expectant of a stereotypical Sith but keeping in line with her character background and development. I remember the quest line on Alderaan where you are given the choice to spare or kill the Rist guys who try to take you hostage after betrayal of the House Thul information. Yeah I killed them both. She doesn't tolerate betrayal. Then there are some DS points that are just hilarious to take such as the following. The other one where I took some DS points is when the officer on Quesh says it wasn't a woman's place to be on the front lines. Needless to say I corrected that behavior really quick with some shocking results. But still even though I have some DS (about 2500 I think) I am LS three. I am liking how my character is developing throughout her questing and story.
  15. The concept of hell in Star wars is generally referred to as Chaos. It is also known as The Void. It's a place in the force netherworld that the evil spirits of sentient beings inhabit. These include the Dark Jedi, the Dark Lords of the Sith, and people do did evil acts in general. What hell is to someone in the Star Wars universe is dependent on who you talk to. Correlians, like Gidera said, has nine levels. Nabooians envision hell as a dark, empty pit closed off by six impenetrable gates. Sounds like a lovely vacation spot.
  16. Okay gonna sound noobish here but you can craft Rakata gear for your companions? Cool! My main is a synth and for me I don't see any reason to switch. I do not know personally if people buy synth items on the GTN but make some oranges and see what happens. Make them augments too, since synths can and artificers can't. You can also hang on to syth when progressing your gear by making augments with them. It's what I do.
  17. I would say a combination of greed and testing the market to see how far it can go.
  18. I seriously doubt it is time for an expansion. The game hasn't been out that long really to warrant a expansion yet. I would say another year at least.
  19. Yes they do. Something you can do is go to Imperial/Republic Fleet and go to the supply wing. They have commendation vendors for all the planets.
  20. Hey if it works why not? Probably could make some decent credits.
  21. I heard the primary difference between Vanguard and Commando DPSers is Vanguard is great for area DPS and commando is great for single target DPS. Is this true?
  22. You get the STAP when you put in the code. However, you can't ride it until you buy the skill at level 25 for a cool 40k.
  23. Merry Christmas and any other holiday you happen to celebrate this time of year. Also thank you Bioware for coming out with a great MMO and the sacrifices you made for the production of this game. May you get the holiday rest you deserve to spend time with your families, friends, and loved ones.
