From the sounds of it I shouldn't have a problem getting normal qs for WZs into the late night on either server? I don't do ranked since I'm not a fan of arena. Right now I usually play until 4am the latest and I'm on the East Coast. Harbinger was good for late night qs since it had the oceanic people and West Coast players

Where is the PvP community ending up now that the mergers are live? From what I can see both servers have the same populations..

I agree. I'm about to be capped and I can't find anything worth buying. The few deco items there are need the other 2 crystal variants which isn't worth to me. I guess we're forced into buying gear??

I'm hoping after the 27th that the server is AT LEAST Standard. If that is the case I'll be transferring back. Playing on a PvE server sucks but so does playing on a server with no one on it lol. EU is lucky, ToFN is Standard for them nowadays..... NA could take notes.

Can anyone tell me if there are any advantages to being on JC over being on SL? I've heard lots of good things about the guilds on JC. Are there any guilds that run reg WZs at max lvl together?

Manaan is one of the coolest zones in the game for me.. When I was there I kept standing around in awe about just how much it felt like I was in the middle of nowhere with this really cool area to quest in.

I think there's a good chance we might see some graphical updates in the KotFE. Judging by what I've seen there looks to be a lot of updated textures and lighting.

I like the points you made and that does seem very logical and doable. What UI problems? I've never had an issue and actually really like the UI. Looks like we have a know-it-all here. Doesn't mean we can't have a discussion in it. No need to sound like a brat. We are all well aware what the Hero engine has turned into.

Really good discussion so far. Hopefully there are enough differences between the classes that there is replay value. I don't want to be doing the same crap on my Mara as I would do on my Sin but only with the only difference is calling me Wrath or Darth Nox lol The whole 1-50 experience is so amazing, no game comes close to it. There's no reason they can't do it again, especially with how much they are hyping up the expansion.

Is it possible for the engine used ingame to be upgraded to Dx12? How hard would it be to implement? I believe if it's possible we could see some HUGE improvements in performance. Some screenshots I've seen have showed what looked like updated graphics. For instance, the SS of Lana which her back to us looks different than what we see in game. With the expansion being not too far off and Dx12 just coming out, is it possible that they'll show something in terms of graphical performance and upgrade? This expansion is really their chance to get the game going again, especially with all the Star Wars hype around the new movie and also the new Battlefront game. EA owns both BF and SWTOR so you'd hope they'd be paying attention to everything and are looking to beef up SWTOR.

Otherwise where is the replay value once you've done either Light/Dark side? Doing the same thing on every character and having the same dialogues gets really boring and make it so I don't even want to do it again since the excitement isn't there of experiencing certain things for the first time.

Also find it funny how everyone mentions low lvl ganking even though I covered that there are also PLENTY of max lvl areas where we do dailies where WPvP would happen on a PvP server. Now everyone is just holding hands. Also if you're so into RP then you should be against playing on a server where you can't attack the other faction, as that completely goes against SW.

Is there any chance for PvP servers to make a comback? Even the RP-PvP server? I know many will agree that it just doesn't feel right playing on these carebear PvE servers. What sucks is that right now 4pm EST all the PvE servers are Standard while the PvP are light. Now I know people are going to say "WPvP is dead" because **** engine or BioWare doesn't care. My computer ran Ilum fine back in the day and I know many others who never had a problem when it came to WPvP. Especially never had problems on other planets. I think blaming BioWare or the game is a cop out, because it really comes down to the player base on whether things like this keep going. Max lvl daily zones are prime locations for WPvP. There are so many places where you run into other people while lvling or doing dailies at max lvl. These PvE servers you can find people anywhere, it used to be that way on PvP servers. People can complain about ganking or low lvl zones but in the end of the day that's the nature of the beast. What comes from this is people calling their friends in for help and you may have a little battle. This was a common occurrence on my old server on Tatt. It was really fun and was something different from your everyday PvP WZs. I saw someone else's suggestion that BioWare should take away WZs/Arena from PvE/RP servers so that way people are forced to play on PvP servers if they want to PvP. I think this could work but it's also probably a little extreme. People need to stop xferring to these carebear servers. If you're into PvP, you should be ready to PvP anytime and anywhere. PvP servers are meant for PvPers. This is Star Wars, factions at war... We shouldn't be holding hands on Yavin 4.
