Unless it was after 10pm on Monday, it was not on the launcher. The front page of the website showed the the event was going, not ending. And on our server no one was talking about it ending until about 240am on the planet of Tattooine. Just sayin'

Up until today, the event was still listed on SWTOR splash page! So obviously they had some mixed messages. I had went to http://almarsguides.com/swtor/flashpoints/rakghoulworldevent.cfm as he kept updating the quests as they came in, and near the top in the FAQs read that they didn't know of the end date. Obviously he never updated it once they announced the end, but I was ignorant not thru lack of trying, just misinformation. It happens, doesn't mean that BW couldn't have thrown it in game somehow.

That's what we're saying, put a freaking sign inside the store (game) with all the details. Not just put all the details in the ad flyer (forums) and never truly give a complete explanation inside the store (game). Your post points out the flaw in the system, expecting everyone to read the ad flyer(forums). That shouldn't be a requirement to shop there(play the game)!

If they were to come out and say it was going to be an annual event, then I think maybe there would be less "QQ'ing". It would let people know that there is always next year, and that you missed it 'for now' not permanently.

Honestly, I was on Fleet queing for a couple hours and never saw anyone mention "Final day" sales tactics. The only time I saw anything was when I went to Tat to try to grind the dailies out prior to server outage, and saw someone whining about not be able ot get to the vendor cuz it was being camped. Then it came out that they only had 20 mins to turn in. Not to mention I would not have spent 2 hours PvP'ing had I saw anything about it ending, I would have went and finished the Origin quest. True, BUT, when WoW launched an event, they always stated start and end dates and also have am in-gsme calendar to show start and end dates. I *planned* on doing the Origin quest today, which is my only day off. The same way I would plan the day to grind WSG during children's week for a WoW event on my day off. Not whining, just saying it sucks, and some people are busy and do plan around differing schedules. It would've been nice at event launch to say "Officials plan on having the out break contained within a week, or by 4-23-12" or whatever, indicating, in-game, when it would be coming to a close.

I think the big complaint is *where/how* it was communicated. They put in in the patch notes when it started, why not indicate the duration there? You had to come to the forums to find it. I think that is was has most people a little salty about how it ended.

That may be the case, but unfortunately, not eveyrone has time to scour the forums every day. I kept watching patch notes and media around the event, and never saw them mention when it would be ending. If it was only in the forums, then thats not the best way to get the message to everyone. Just sayin'.

Wouldn't a 33% reduction in Energy Cost mean you could 'technically' use it more often in your rotation? Increasing the overall damage caused by it? Wouldn't that be larger increase overall despite the 10% damage reduction?

They are supposedly a blue quality boot with an augment on them. I also have not found them. Down the Hole has given me the belt 2x out of 2 runs. Does anyone have the boots? Not just looking for a 'close match," actually wondering if anyone has the boots with this name.

I read everything. Your OP is great, your continued tweaking/updating is also great. It came up somewhere about CUNNING being on some assualt cannons which is a trooper only item, and that it was probably just a randomized stat on a drop. That is what I thought as well, BUT.... This may take a little explaining if you haven't/don't play a Trooper. Your second pet (not counting c2-n2) is Elara Dorne, a decent healer. Some of her starting gear has cunning on it without any aim. Again, I dismissed this as a mechanic that changed, and they haven't gotten around to fixing her starting gear to reflect the change. But, as I have leveled, and quested, some of the mission rewards are for our pets, and some of her newer updated gear has cunning on it still. This begs the question, are we sure that there isn't a bigger correlation to the off-primary stats? Please realize I am not arguing, or disagreeing, just trying to figure this aspect of our topic out. Also, I don't put a lot of faith into the TOR Prima Guide but it calls out cunning as a secondary stat for troopers. Just sayn'.

Serious question: Some people mentioned making placeholder toons to grab their desired names once they got in, then logging off, planning on logging back in later to make the "real" toon.... Just wondering, anyone that did this, were you able to re-use the name after you deleted the placeholder? I have heard some mixed responses on this. If you actually did this, can you please comment on the outcome? Thanks in advance!

Wow, math fail. You have all the info right there, but you still can't figure it out? The Digital Deluxe edition is $79.99. You have $5 + $74.99. That equals $79.99. You did not pay an "additional" fee. It's the total "fee" broken down into 2 parts. I think we need to locate that facepalm emote still....
