  1. I think I lost interest. That's it. I'll check this thread in a month, then two, etc... Till the point I won't even care. Good job Biobio.
  2. Do you really think it's smart to ignore us ? Because, who is having the worst problem pvp wise ? Jedi knights. Pve wise ? Jedi knights. Who suffers the most from ability delay and overall fps drops ? Jedi knights. Who's clearly underwhelming on every level ? Jedi knights. So do you REALLY think that having "who has the WORST cosmetics design ever (from large butt issue, to ugly bath robes, no hood toggle, to the amazing Power ranger samurai suit)" is acceptable ? Don't you think they could at least give us that so we can still enjoy our character, kinda ? It's like they tried SO HARD to ruin us everywhere they could. Seriously.
  3. Shame on you. I thought for a sec a BW dev actually answered D: .
  4. Actually it's worst than that. It was already there in the first video they ever made. It's like they're either cool with it, or just can't ever fix it. It's not acceptable.
  5. Cause now they can add it slowly over months and say "look ! we worked and made new pieces !!!" While it was there from start. So they don't have to actually work on new stuff while we pay them.
  6. No, the hood is not down for Twi'leks. There is no hood at all.
  7. This is so sad. I actually thought "hey that does look like my Jedi robe" -__________- . Thanks Bioware. We LOVE it.
  8. Other classes are fine. Especially the mirror one, Sith warrior. That's what makes it worst. When you know that back in BETA, it was perfect for Jedi knights. (minor the TERRIBLE AND LOOK RUINING LARGE BUTT ISSUE)
  9. And yet they removed color matching because "we want gear progression".
  10. What I don't understand is how can so many people care about not having hood downs (which is of course a big issue), and yet ignore the large butt issue. It completely turns our Jedi into ridicule, and it's amateurish at best, a shame that should never go live and yet... Maybe they're waiting for the hoods to get fixed before yelling at the terrible robe design.
  11. No. There still are a few hood down robes (still with the HORRIBLE and Look-breaking large butt issue) in the game you can get, they just aren't moddable I think. But the textures is another problem, it's not related. Especially since the hood is just a clipping part, the actual textures for the robes are exactly the same weither it is hood down or up. (you can easily see that with NPC wearing the same robes with hood down)
  12. The lead dev was cheated on by his girlfriend with a guy wearing a Jedi costume on comic con while he was dressed as a bounty hunter. Now, he takes his revenge.
  13. Guardians feel the need to post "you got to love Force push" or "Ah the new update on force leap is awesome" and useless threads like this in the GENERAL Jedi Knight forum. While it only concerns them and not the sentinels. I don't see why we couldn't have a general thread with everybody posting their Jedi Knights. (thus not just "guardian or sentinel") Why you ask ? Because since we're stuck with ugly hooded bathrobes and large bustle issue, many of us are just dressing for the "look" sake. That means the "sentinel" or "guardian" look probably won't be respected. I think it's a good idea to see how all Jedi Knights can look.
  14. I'm having a hard time figuring out how those people collecting people haven't noticed : "Put gear with hood down you removed right before launch or add hood toggle !" "Fix the large butt issue that turns any jedi into ridicule !" Which are two of the most popular threads on the class forum. That's the sad thing, they DID see it, and they reported it. Bioware just couldn't care.
  15. I'm not sure they even know HOW to fix it.
  16. Nothing to do with the "coat", the problem is the belt. Only gear (troopers, jedi, bh etc..) with a belt OVER the piece will create that terrible effect, because of the physics, since it looks great in preview mode. Problem is, while all classes have tons of things to equip besides those terrible "belt over" ones, Jedi have almost NOTHING else :/ .
  17. Patch indeed. He now always looks like a sith.
  18. Stupid in so many ways. 1) If we want the hood down, it's because we want to see our face. So a helmet won't do it for us. 2) The helmet toggle enabled, still displays the hood. 3) That toggle doesn't "give you a hood down" but removes it entirely. While it looks ok on capes, it looks terrible with all robes.
  19. Oh and BTW I noticed the problem on a body type 1 woman so yeah, and on a male type 4 . I guess maybe only 3 is decent :/ .
  20. They started DA 2 4 years later so they couldn't learn anything. Christ, they can't even put back gear they REMOVED 1 month prior to launch, so of course they couldn't change the game design. DA2 is their worst game. A hint ? EA. EA saw DA was well received, they made Bioware rush the sequel. It was a disaster (worldwide press agrees, no matter what corrupt IGN may say), an exemple of pure lazyness and how to rush a game. Well, SWTOR is just next to it. You can feel it had a lot of potential, and yet everything is garbaged and unfinished, though, for this one, there's also a TERRIBLE team making awful decisions in charge. So that doesn't help.
  21. Figuring it out doesn't make it easy in the least. You still have to pay attention to any details and be extremely reactive. My sent asks me MUCH more effort than any of my other characters. Only reason I keep playing him is because is my main and I prefer melee. I don't see why only one class should have one "learning curve" that hard. Come on, I know troopers who only use 4 skills and they win with no effort. Either make the other classes harder, either make the Jedi simpler. (actually, the ability delays + fps problem + all the glitches are already killing the class, when you had a ridiculous 3 minutes cooldown for the only anti cc we got, it's wonderful)
  22. "More potential" ? I'm sorry but while SWG had amazing ideas, it had even worst ideas going on. That's why it failed. The balance was terrible, the good parts were completely overwhelmed by terrible parts. TOR has a better "balance" while being more classic, I agree. Thing is, TOR's potential is pretty good. What TOR is right now, is a disaster.
  23. I think the saddest part is when I realized I was in the top 3 with a level 17 bounty hunter. While my 45 sentinel never make it to the top ten.
  24. I'm sure it would have been fixed if it were simple. It's Bioware's logic, anything that asks for actual work, they won't do. Actually, no, they won't do ANYTHING related to Jedi Knights. Look at all the beautiful armors and gear they REMOVED right before launch, to let us only with ugly bathrobes and hoods. They can't even put them back. This thread (and issue) is one of the most annoying for the class, and it's the ONLY problem they have been ignoring. All we know is that Stephen Reid feels our pain, but he's not a dev. I'm sure he told them "you know, robes display in a weird fashion for body types 1 and 2, and since most jedi gear has that issue, maybe you could fix it ?" Bioware's answer : "Ah ? So it mainly bothers JK right ? We don't give a **** . We'll fix that in month 9 maybe."
