  1. A geared dps can burn the shield in one good attack and after the shield is gone the sorc is like butter. No, I do not play a sorc.
  2. Or they could take their gear aways and some them will cry unsubscribe? Lmao I feel sorry for the never ending complaints these companies have to deal with. Every cannot be happy. There's no way.
  3. Not to say your incorrect about peoples reactions to this but, I would love to que premade vs premade. Now that said, I think premade vs premade could only work in the ranked wz 's because they would need to bracket it or fresh premades would complain about being vs geared premades. You cannot make everyone happy.

  5. Its so funny how there's threads like this one as well as threads along the lines of, "HEALERS WONT GO DOWN WITHOUT 3 PEOPLE FOCUSING THEM! STUPID LAWLBUBBLEWTFBBQLASERSAUCE!!!1." What I see from some healers is nearly top damage and top healing at the same time.
  6. I'm lvl 46, am I allowed to speak? Its easy to understand why people QQ. If I can't beat this class then they must be OP right? I mean its not possible that I'm doing something wrong... And from what I've seen in these forums I think I need to point out that, that's sarcasm.
  7. Google swtor resolve system. It does exist but in my experience it is not working properly and is buggy. Not going to argue that point, but from what I've seen in tons of warzones, it is not reliable. On a side not our CC break ability should have a tiny immunity after using it. Even just 2 seconds because of the amount of CC in this in this game you can't even pass a huttball after using your CC break before you are CCed again.

Many people will come in with that response but there's plenty of people with beast computers updated drivers and who have spent lots of time in many threads discussing the issue and still have the problem with Warzones. Google it and you will find a lot of discussion. Also there are 2 issues, one is FPS drop and the other is ability delay. The ability delay has been addressed by Devs and is being worked on.
  10. I'm not sure how your build could possibly be less squishy than an Immortal build. Even without considering the CD's. I guess if you're still gearing defensively I can see it. I'll give it a try at 50. But I think for my play style I'll likely need those CD's. I'm using this. I just changed over to it an hour ago from a full Immortal spec, I'm lvl 42. I'm considering taking 2 points out of Dark Blood to get Ruin in the Vengeance tree but I'm hesitant to keep chipping away from my survivability. I already sacrificed Shield specialization and Blade Barricade. My primary goal is to be a beeftank, I just need to do enough dmg to make people want to target me.

  12. I would like another point into Revenge because this build increases Smash and Revenge helps with the rage cost. But, im going to wait and see if one point in Revenge is enough since I should have a few people on me at a time.
  13. My Build Going for general tankyness and utility with any increased dmg I could grab on the way so they can't ignore me. I would like Blade Barricade and Shield Specialization but you can't have it all. What do you guys think? Anyone think Unleashed is a necessity? I've also always wondered about Quake, 5% miss for 18 seconds? Not sure on that one. Maybe I'll move a point from Quake into Revenge.
  14. So much whining in almost every thread! The game has lots of bugs. I was half in the floor and invisible and couldn't be attacked unless I attack them. When I attacked I would pop out but go invis again if I stopped. Guess I deserve a ban.

  16. You don't need dev response. They have announced what is planed for this month. Read stickies, Google, or use the dsv tracker. Is there a dev tracker? Lol and no search function! OK NM im actually gonna blame them for not giving you the tools to find this.
  17. Can't fix what isn't broken. It was planned from the start that we would all be in the same bracket until there are more 50 s. They announced that the change is coming this month. Read some stickies or search google. The information is out there.
  18. Its funny, every time I hear someone say "its too easy to score in huttball." I think to myself "its too easy to stop someone from scoring." And it is easy to stop someone so do it. There's no way anything is unfair if both teams have the same abilities.
  19. Now you make a point that I had not considered. I do like PvP fights to last longer rather than instant death, having no chance to react or counter what your opponent is doing is not much fun. So that's one point in the Expertise is good column for me. I'm too tired to try and think of a counter argument right now or a way to solve that problem without having a PvP stat giving PvPers an edge when they find raiders out in the world (this is coming from a PvPer), im off to bed but you did give me something to think about.
  20. I completely understand what your saying about time and effort in raids vs warzones. I did raid pretty hardcore in vanilla wow and organizing 40 people and waiting for those 40 people to learn the strat and all get it right at the same time is far more difficult than grinding warzones (rated, and arenas excluded like you mentioned). Maybe someone can come up with a way to make the investment equal, maybe they cant. But my opinion of a PvP stat will remain the same. It's unnecessary to me. Most PvPers seem to be proud of their skill, so get rid of the stat that gives you an edge over those who don't pvp much. You pvp often, they don't, so you should have the experience to win. But im not unhappy, and haven't used up my play time. Im not upset about killing lower level players too easily. When I'm calling the PvP stat a crutch, that's coming from my general experience with all MMO's, I'm not really speaking specifically of SWTOR. I will play it either way. I will continue to be PvP focused either way. Until a more PvP focused MMO comes out. I'm praying for AoC's combat system to be in a future game. Edit: I honestly think, (you may not be included) most people who like the PvP stat, like it because once they acquire a bit of it they can easily roll a majority of people they run into in open world.
  21. What is not fair about people doing what they enjoy, to get what they want? You mentioned hours, PvP hours vs PvE hours to earn that same gear. Im not designing the game and dont know how they could make it work but dont forget its a game. You like to raid? Then raid. Like pvp? Go kill some people. No reason to worry about which path takes longer. Thats just an MMO mentality problem. I agree that it will always exist in THIS game, they aren't going to change it. As for being wrong and mad because, "the current gear that bioware implemented isn't what it should be. with pvp gear being (apparently) much better than current raid gear. " I stated in all my posts that I pretty much only pvp in every MMO I have played, I'm in that gear that im apparently mad about being so good... My argument still stands, a PvP stat is a crutch. I like competition, I Don't want to win only because the other guy didn't have pvp gear.
  22. So many people coming with this response. He said get rid of the STAT. He did not say you need to raid to acquire the gear. They could award the same gear for pvp as they do for raiding. Tho this game has launched and wont likely get rid of expertise. Whats wrong with being able to get the same gear through different avenues of play? People keep saying "I like to pvp" "I like to raid" do whatever you want and end up in the same place. Then when we meet, assuming we are both geared, skill will decide who is better.
  23. The underlined part of this guys quote is one of my favorites. If all gear was equal, it would only be skill that allows them to be on par with you. Does that worry you? Expertise is a crutch. I primarily pvp in every MMO I have played.
  24. They could simply reward the same gear, whether you pvp or raid. Your WoW example doesn't really prove that expertise (or resilience) is not an unnecessary stat. WoW doing it doesn't make it the best option. You were right about the raiders dominating but it doesn't disprove the OPs point. If you could achieve the same gear in warzones / world pvp and raids then its a completely even playing field. Is that not what you want as a PvPer? A challenge, and a chance to prove your better? The PvP stat is a bit of a crutch and that's coming from someone who has focused on PvP in every MMO I have played. Same gear means its a battle of skill. Why require 2 sets of gear for those that do both PvP and PvE (other than the time sink)? You should not feel proud of a kill if you happened upon someone in the open world who currently has his raid gear on. Now with all that said... the game is in motion, it launched this way, and likely wont be changed. Very likely.
