I completely agree with you on the book choices, and if you are going to look into comics I suggest the special Darth Vader one-shots, the KOTOR comics, and the series "Dawn of the jedi"

For me, the best part of the EU is the KOTOR comics and the games. Those comics are hands down some of the best material that all of Star Wars can offer, besides this game of course. The worst has to be the VERY large gap and failed attempt at uniting the mandalorians story in TCW after Karen Traviss had her Tirade. Even though she betrayed the fans the attempts to recapture the good old days has failed miserably.

First off, this posts in the wrong forum. Secondly that won't happen since you can make characters in any server, and while you can do that they won't have you be able to switch toons to other servers. And even if they did manage to do that the price would be steep.

That's my favorite part too, Bioware was smart in making it feel reminiscant of KOTOR II's The Harbinger level. Nothing more scary than an abandoned ship with the unkown out there with you. As for other people, I waited a while to do mine so not alot of people were there and no one was feeling chatty.

I think you post this thread in the wrong forum. besides as you said before that making this stuff takes time and money, so highly doubt you will see four worlds added in one patch. As for the decreasing number of players, I think it's just people getting a taste of other MMOs. I've had friends temperarily leave this game for ones like Diablo III, yet they came back. And to the DEVS at bioware, thank you so much for making this incredible game, keep up the great work.

You are complaining about Anakin being whiney but doesn't he have the right since he was born a slave and the council would alienate him? Maybe she felt like she could be there to watch over him in his time of need? Besides a whiney baby's butt teenager would be the one to become Darth Vader.

I am totally getting that game. Just from the previews it looks amazing, even if their are no lightsabers.

I like how you brought a story about thousands of years of war down to its fundamental roots, good job. But seriously as an earlier post put it it all started when a group of dark jedi decided to wage war on their fellows because of a difference in philosophy, then the LS jedi won and kicked their DS bretheren into what was the unkown regions at the time. Where they landed on Korriban, which they conquerd and then enslaved the sith species to their services.

If Disney can keep the avengers amazing AND tue to the comic, then I don't think we should be worried about EP. VII. Personally I think it'll boost the player numbers of TOR when it comes out.

Revan had his time in the galaxy and in that time he shined, after all he did cripple the madalorians and nearly defeat the republic. But, as much as I hate to say it, his time is done. Much as RL, people excel at what they do then fall horribly but in their fall make room for new heros. I think that's what BW and DK were doing when they put Revan in that book and FP. Think of cases like yoda. He was a POWERFUL jedi and yet he died a lonely old man in a hut. There's also Ulic Qel-Droma, who was a promising jedi turned promising sith turned, as Yoda, into a lonely old man who got shot down because of his lost connection to the force. I ask you, WHY DOES EVERY CHARACTER HAVE TO GO DOWN IN THE BLAZE OF GLORY? P.S. I agree with you Revanswons.

I myself wouldn't spend a darn second on meditating. I think I'd be one of those guys who walks in the "balanced' path between light and dark(aka the "cool" side of the force). I would mostly spend my time moving all my LEGOs around with my mind and throw them at targets for practice.

Well, if Obi-Wan checked to make sure Maul was dead we wouldn't have that problem now would we? Personally, I like Maul added to TCW because he adds more menace to the series. Maul and Savage have done more with their lightsabers then dooku, asajj, and palpatine combined.

The problem with people is that they shy away from change, which is why we all get butt-clenched whenever we see something that didn't go the same way we remember it. When I heard TOR came out, I immediatly knew that things that we thought were true about revan would change. I think people hate the changes made about revan in TOR is because everyone wanted to see him as this tragic war-hero, and since you chose everything about him in KOTOR, that makes it hurt all the more. As Yoda once said, "Teach yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose." P.S. My twin and I already guessed about revan being turned to the dark side by someone rather than "The horrors of war" two years before TOR came out.

Gratulator's right and if you consider that the mandalorians did a LOT of conscripting whenever they took over a planet, they always bumped the numbers of their forces by at least 4 times more then when they started the campaign. Plus you have to consider the amount of people on a planet WORTH conscripting, because no mando recruiter worth his/her salt would take the elderly and the sick to become a neocrusader.

BrandomSM, I totally agree with you on the season premiere of TCW. It was well worth the wait for the season, and the plot twists were entertaining. I also think you are right in regards to the comment you made where you said that no one could have predicted the twists, because I normally can tell where an episode might lead. Let us hope the season will continue to bring more surprises.

I have always been a fan of Star Wars and all of its content (Yes even episode I) and I always will be. I find that the people who play a game MAKE the game experience in MMOs. CHEERS TO THE OLD REPUBLIC!!!

Here is a question, did lucas tell everbody that Jar Jar was gonna be his masterpiece or something? Because you Jar Jar haters for years have been treating the character that way.people thought that C3P0 sucked when he first appeared, then it was the Ewoks. My point is is that people have a habit of frowning upon anything that George Lucas makes that feels a little different then they imagined in the star wars universe. If you think you can do better please make your own sc-fi/fantasy saga as epic as STAR WARS without using anything George has used while keeping everybody pleased. REMEMBER JAXXON!!!

Can we just say that it's up to your point of view? I do not think this topic will ever be settled by ANYBODY. The fact is SOME sith see themselves as doing good, others know they're doing evil. It's a case-by-case scenario.

If you can't say nothing nice, don't say anything at all. I for one can't wait for it.
