<BOS> Is recruiting adult members for our newish guild. We are mostly in our late 20s and mid 30s and have been playing various games together for the last 10+ years, including WoW.... I read those posts, how are they relevant? How do they matter in any way shape or form? Personal life got in the way? Cool story bro, how is that EA's problem? I read the terms of the contest because that actually mattered to me. The self important entitled ramblings of a bunch of spoiled children not so much. It took about 3 pages of reading to understand the majority of this petulant nonsense. Is it so hard to understand that if they let these excuses fly they would leave themselves open to ANYBODY and EVERYBODY to make the same excuses? The game had a set of rules, if you didn't follow the rules OH WELL. This happens all the time with contests and you only get complaints like this habitually with spoiled entitled MMO gamers. Every single last MMO game I have played over the last 15 years is full of whiny entitled babies who think they are special. Guess what, you're not.

This is just more entitlement, the BBB or the FTC would get involved if a promised service was not delivered, this is not the case. The issue here is the consumers did not keep up with their end of the rules which in the eyes of the BBB and the FTC doesn't leave the vendor responsible. That would be like reporting GMC for not giving you a free stereo in your new car because you bought the car the day after the promotion ended.

What's more sad is that they already pushed the date for early access back once. THEY GAVE A SECOND CHANCE, and some how these people still screwed it up! And some how they are STILL entitled.... smh...

Can we get a post for all the whiners then too? This generations sense of entitlement is continuously astounding, you're allowed to have and voice an opinion, that doesn't mean everybody has to agree with it or that its a good opinion. I knew well over a month ago I wasn't getting early access. Because I can READ. Whats yalls excuse?

The issue here is simple, OP made a mistake and didn't bother to read the rules. Now OP wants special privilege but demands it for everybody because that way its not privilege. Even though this would screw over everybody else who did it the right way because OP feels screwed over. Then when OP is given both reasonable and rude responses (Its a forum if you can't handle *** holes and brash people the internet probably isn't the best place for you.) OP address those who disagree with OP rudely and ignores those that give reasonable well thought out responses. Then OP throws a pity party of one, saying they give up, boo hoo, I am entitled because I say so and I am not gonna play with you guys anymore I am taking my ball home. OP, Buying CCs doesn't entitle you to anything other than the CCs you bought. Paying for your subscription doesn't entitle you to anything more than the subscription you paid for. I don't demand extra free food when I buy groceries at the same store for 6 months in a row. I don't expect extra benefits for subscribing to Spotify for a year. I expect to get what I paid for as per the terms of the end user license agreement and anything else is just a pleasant addition. This has been explained to you in every way possible, you were not denied something you were promised, nothing has been taken from you and you only have to wait a week. You said it yourself that this is EA's way of getting free beta testing, why don't you just accept that answer and enjoy the fact that you're going to get the expansion with an extra weeks worth of polish. I have been playing MMOs long enough to know two things are always certain. Some day the MMO WILL die, and its impossible to make everybody happy. So why bother trying to stop either one?

So, I play Imperial on Harbinger and will be starting some pubs soon, so a pub sister guild would be nice. I have 5 55s Imp side and will be making my free 60 and imp as well, I also have every profession at 450+ I would like a guild for adults who are casual but still do OPS 2-3 times a week and also do PvP. My main is an Assassin tank but I would rather DPS. I have some friends who play who will probably join with me wherever I go. They are all over 50 on several toons and have tanks and healers as well. They are all mostly very casual players where as I would like to be a regular PvE "raider" but I'm also not interested in being a hard core kid. I have played many MMOs over the years including WoW and have been an officer or GM for most of them. I usually play tanks and healers which is why I wanna go DPS for a while. I tend to have a pretty raunchy sense of humor so it would be nice to be around people who are hard to offend. TLDR; Jack of many trades looking for social adult guild with minimal butthurtability.

I don't get what you are saying? I know how to set up a static IP, but id rather teach a man to fish than write a guide at 9am when I have been awake 20 minutes.

As far as the Razer mice go, this is a known issue for a mouse that is nearly end of life, not saying that this isn't a glitch but my step dad has the same problem with his Naga on WoW until he replaced it with a new one about a week ago. I am using a Naga that's over a year old and I have yet to see this issue myself. Hope it gets resolved for y'all soon.

Insta Travel? No. Fast travel yes, but only within the confines of the games Lor.

I am using a GTX 470 and I play the game at max settings with well over 60fps and the comp barely feels it. I'm sure a 550 will play it without a problem.

Your point was semi vaild until you started accusing everybody who disagrees with you of being a fanboy which in fact makes you a fanboy... Any way, the dude on the first page had a very valid and polite point. You are over stacking the SWTOR Travel points and under stacking the WoW ones. First not every (infact very few) planets use a space station, but I will agree the ones that do are annoying. Secondly your wow list should fit the same "valid" points the SWTOR one does. You have a point, you don't need to hype or under hype one or the other to get that point across. WoW travel would be more like this if anything. Run to major city. Run up mountains/lifts and flight tower. Wait for airship/boat to arrive Get on air ship/boat and wait for it to leave Loading Screen Wait for ship to dock Get off ship and run to flight master Click flight master and take flight path closish to guildy Get on mount and THEN go to guildy. Now yes we can debate portals and summonings, but don't forget that those are not always free, and getting a warlock and two other people to summon the stone and then summon you? People never did that when I played WoW, beyond that what are the odds of a warlock just randomly being around your buddy every time they need help? Unless they are a warlock in say its pretty slim. Again I believe you have a valid point, as the travel can be a bit tedious, but there is no need to inflate your list.
