I'd rather see a 'Legacy name change' option, instead of a character transfer. People can create a new character on any server already, and with a transfer, the probability that a name is already taken is high. 'Legacy name change' option however, benefits those who choose it too quickly, or did not knew how permanent it would have been.

Would only improve game play, as many users ask/demand for this. Including me.
