On my merc healer I run: Skillful - Custom Enviro Suit - Gyroscopic Alignment Jets - Improved Vents Masterful - Power Shield - Supercharged Defense Heroic - Stabilized Armour - Thrill of the Hunt - If you feel you'd rather turret and stand in one spot as opposed to kiting and pillar humping, I would drop TotH for Energy Rebounder. I found these utilities to be the best to run with. The extra interrupt immunity AKA GODMODE that both Masterful utilities give are soooo helpful. I tried Afterburners a couple times and it was found helpful but only in solo ranked situations when my team doesn't peel for me and I have to fend for myself. Suit FOE was nice pre-4.0 when there was nothing but hatred and madness but now the other two masterful utilities are so much more useful than 30% dot damage reduction on self, plus I would much rather save my cleanse for CCs. I found Smoke Screen to be utter useless. It looks good on paper don't get me wrong but when I'd use it, the player I am getting away from would just roll/dash back to me, sure the 4 seconds of interrupt immunity is nice buuuuttt I found the other two Heroic utilities more worthwhile in the long run. Stats - Critical 38.61% 1059 rating - Alacrity 11.72% 1187 rating - Augments: 6 crit, 6 alacrity, 2 power With these stats I am able to break 5k+ hps in almost every competitive warzone and hit 6200 hps in an arena. I enjoy running with ~11% alacrity and notice the difference when I have none, it is something I always stress to people they should use.   11. I found running with 1050 alacrity and 1050 crit worked well for me. I used 5 alacrity, 5 crit and 4 power augments and I feel really comfortable in warzones with those stats. I do on average between 4k-5k hps (I am trying to get that 6k dream though ^^) As for min/maxing, I bought the healing set and didnt touch any mods or enhancements because I min/maxed around everything else to save comms. Power/ala earpiece, power/crit implants, power/crit MH, power/ala OFH. I am still testing stat builds but so far this has the best output.

  13. I really like the disengage, it adds a lot, if it was part of 3.0. Right now in 4.0, every class was given a leap/charge/teleport ability making the new merc ability even more useless and creating an even bigger gap between class mobility. Disengage: I think the way disengage acts needs to be changed. Right now you need to angle your back to face the direction you want to go unlike the operative/sniper roll where you roll the way your camera is angled. It needs to work in that sense, you move back depending on the camera angle. Smoke Bomb: I actually haven't used the new Smoke bomb utility. I looked at it and I would rather take the stun DR and casting while moving utilities over it. The way I see it: you disengage backwards 20m, you have the Smoke bomb utility making you immune to being lept to/shadowsteped to BUT every class can now charge/roll/speed boost rendering the uniqueness of the utility useless, yes the few seconds of interrupt immunity is awesome but I take the Supercharged defense utility and 8 seconds of interrupt immunity every 10-15 seconds is amaaaazzzzzing. Hydraulics: The hydraulic nerf was unneeded. I noticed a huge difference with the added 15 seconds to HO. I understand it was nerfed for the added ability rocket out/propulsion round/Jordans but I would like to see it used while snared/rooted, otherwise the class is hurting even more. I am actually rather disappointed that in depth PTS testing wasnt allowed this expansion like it was in 3.0 PTS. As I see it right now this is LIVE testing. But oh well. ):

  16. To keybind go into keybinds -> quickslots and scroll down to temporary quickbar slot 1 and keybind your throw the huttball there. On the interface editor it appears on the temporary quickbar.

  20. This is a major nerf to mercs in pvp. We already have the worst defensive cooldowns in game and the worst mobility in comparison to other classes. Also factor in the fact every class is getting ONE more mobility ability added to what they already have right now, mercs are still far behind other classes. This is disappointing.
  21. This is awesome. I finally have a reason to yell POPPIN MAH JORDANS and to my teammates :3 But one suggestion for the commando equivalent name, it would be pretty cool if it was called Recoil rather than Propulsion Round. Propulsion Round sounds more like a dps ability rather than a DCD. Rocket Out reminds me of Team Rocket not gunna lie and should be renamed to Team Rocket Out.
