  1. Well, let me write it here then: I realize the "up to" part, but my point is, that there were never going to be "up to 5 days" for the people who pre-ordered medio december. At that point the "up to 5 days" should have been removed, since it is saying to people: "you have a chance of getting 5 days", when in fact they haven't got a chance of 5 days, but more likely 4 or 3.... I still think that this is misleading your consumers, and i personally feel mislead, as the only reason for me buying the pre-order at that time, was to get "up to 5 days" like the rest of the pre-orderers, and thereby be let in to the game on even terms with everyone else. Furthermore, the level of information throughout this release has been miserable. There should not be any "unofficial early access thread", there should be a OFFICIAL one, telling people EXACTLY when they can expect to be let in, så that they can plan accordingly. Instead, you let people wait for hours, getting their hopes up, then laugh in their face at the end of the day with some short random twitter statement. Poor communication is a problem with a lot of MMO launches. I had just hoped that you wouldn't be like "the rest".
  2. Could this be due to the fact, that right up untill the 13th, the frontpage of your site promised up to 5 days of early access? Do you think that is MAYBE the reason so many people pre-ordered right up untill this date? To get the same 5 days advantage, as the rest of the pre-orderers did? Do you think that the same amount of people would have preordered, had it been made clear, that we should expect only 3 or 4 days of early access, and thereby could NOT expect "up to 5 days" but only "up to 4 or 3 days", while thousands of players were let in before us? I think that the "up to 5 days" statement is at best misleading, and should have been removed from the page the moment you were in doubt about people making the 5-day cut. Furthermore i feel your information in regards to how many people, and what dates you were letting in has been miserable. It shouldnt be neccesary with "unofficial Early Access"-threads on this forum, YOU should have made a clear schedule for all of us to follow, instead of leaving us in the dark. All of this doesn't matter **** now, you lost my respect and many others. In a couple of days i'll be playing anyways, since i absolutely love the game you made, but your way of handling this release has been miserable.
  3. When i see a HUGE add, on the frontpage of their site, stating that "i might get up to 5 days of early access" i expect to have a chance of getting just that. The truth here was, that all os us who ordered the game after dec. 7th (it seems) never had a chance of getting "up to 5 days". I DID read up on the early access program, and it was not up untill a few days before launch, that they introduced the "wave" system, in which it was clear that we sould NEVER even be considered for 5 days. THERE IN lies the break of promise. If you cant understand that, i give up on you.
  4. Yeah, i like that argument aswell! Perfect example of how *********** braindead the like of you are... "There is no extra price, so they dont owe you" Oh great man, so i guess that they could promise me just about anything on the homepage, to bait me into buying the game, and then leave me hanging because "i didnt pay extra for it". I'd love to see that in real life aswell, buying a car - being promised that it will have A/C and winter tires included in the price - then getting it without both: "BUT HEY! I DIDN'T PAY EXTRA FOR IT EH'!?!" Moron!
  5. Can you guys please stop *********** writing "THEY SAID UP TO 5 DAYS" like that is a legit reason for them not letting us in. When they ADVERTISE ON THEIR SITE, that you can have UP TO 5 DAYS OF EARLY ACCESS, then it should be possible to get UP TO 5 DAYS OF EARLY ACCESS. For all of us, who ordered the game medio december, that IS NOT THE CASE, we NEVER had a chance of getting 5 days of early access, so they SHOULD HAVE REMOVED THAT STATEMENT FROM THE FRONTPAGE. How *********** hard is that to understand? "UP TO 5 DAYS" MIGHT be a legit reason, for all of you guys, who ordered the game up untill dec. 5 (which seems to be who was let in today) but for the rest of us, it was nothing but a bad marketing trick, to make us buy the game early. We were NEVER going to get 5 days - obviously. By the way, i am not half as pissed off with Bioware not living up to their own ads, as i am with all of you self-rightous morons, who keeps telling us that we "cant read". I hope to god this "up to..." trick is being used with subscriptions aswell: "Buy up to 5 MONTHS of game-time for only 50$", then they give you 2 days, and i'm going to be like: "Hey guys, cant you read?? It said UP TO 5 months, so 2 days is perfectly fine!".. Jesus christ... "But you didnt pay for the 5 days, so they are only like an extra bonus." Yes, i DID pay for the five days, even though the game will be the same price when it is out. I ordered the game, BEFORE IT WAS OUT, because of the 5 days promise, if not, those money would still be on my account, right up untill the moment when i would actually recieve the product which i paid for.
  6. Seriously, i'm getting fed up with this being used as a valid argument. "Up to" means there is a POSSIBILITY for 5 days. There wasn't, which means they lied by using that as a marketing trick. That simpe.
  7. Yeah! Brilliant work that you actually give us a vague deadline! As a community manager, the fact that you actually officially announce when we can expect to get in on the pre-order is absolutely fantastic! Translation: How f****** hard was that?
  8. Rivanwarder said it. The point is not whether or not we are "entitled to" early access. The point is not whether or not we should have "preordered earlier". The point is that the advertising on this site, on Origin and in SEVERAL ads, have stated that you would get "up to 5 days of early access", when in fact - as it seems right now - we wont get anything near that. I don't care how many of you, who are already in the game, tell us to "have patience" and just "preorder earlier". That is false advertisement. "But it says UP TO 5 days, not 5 days for sure" Oh really? I hope to god they do the same thing with subscriptions then: "Up to 30 days for $$$" then give you 4 days and laugh in your face. Rift showed how this should and could be done. Bioware should learn from that, and stop hiding behind "we already let tons of people in". Show us the numbers, give us the facts and stop making vague statements to sell more copies.
