Your entire post since the game launched seems to be a complaint and nothing positive. If it brings you so much misery I suggest you move on.

My assasin tank spec does it pretty fast with little to no thought in 216 with 30 inf. My merc in heal spec running a dps comp gave up. Takes too long and with tank takes forever. Have yet to run dps thru but to me the healing appear to be significantly better

thank you for that information. I am in about the same level gear and companion is 30 as a merc which has pretty good aoe but its seems really slow. I def dont want the companions to play the game for me but i feel like companions pre 4.0 with gear I could customize put out better numbers than what I have currently.

Ok well mind sharing a little more information than "certainly enough"? What class, which companion did you use and what level was it, whats your presence, what level is your gear and how long did it take?

I know heal is the current topic of the day but I wanted to know about DPS. I really like playing my healers the most but must say that the comp dps is making it so painful to stay in heal spec all the time. I know someone is going to say respec to dps but I prefer playing in the role I group with. Why should I have to play dps spec to complete daily content? I have max presence for completing every comp conversation quest but my healer puts out more dps than they currently do. So will the companion dps be adjusted along with the healing output?

I also agree. This horrible attitude towards the community is going to drive away player base. Vilifying a player because they haven't player since beta or don't have all the right "cheevos" (I hate each one of you that use that term) will be bad for the future of the game. I want more players to join its what make a community fun.

I haven't played enough yet to tell what the changes are going to make for me yet but I will say that BW deserves to get piled on by the player base. When the expansion came out anyone who played for 5 minutes what a change they made with the companions. If they had never rolled it out no one would be upset, but it did and then they took that away. They tested all of this before release so how did it make it out of development? Pretty crappy thing to do to your player base.
