  1. We've had this question before, but since more and more details are coming up, I'm asking it agin, since I'm a bit confused. The question is if the legacy options we be retroactively available for existing chars. Since it was stated, that characters will be able to get new skills and be related. http://www.gamespot.com/features/flashpoints-and-fixes-the-old-republic-rise-of-the-rakghouls-6348435/?page=2 In the new video the dev says, that it'll be available to new characters. http://www.swtor.com/media/trailers/coming-star-wars-old-republic So does this really mean, it's only for new characters or did he mean new as in different than the first one ? If this could be clarified, it would really be great .
  2. I'm not sure. If every other game runs fine and even swtor does most of the time, I think it's due to not optimized areas in swtor. Alderaan for example runs a lot better than Nar Shaddaa for me, even if there are more open spaces and more objects in my field of view. I think it doesn't work well for some graphics card/ driver combinations. Edit: Doesn't look like it's only my problem. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-01-09-bioware-responds-to-SWTOR-performance-issues
  3. Same here, just put the lekkus to the front, if we are wearing a hood :<
  4. Same here and I've got 580 SLI and an Core i7 860. Other games, even crysis or bf3 run much better. Nar Shaddaa is my crux somehow. There are a lot of areas, even without enemies, where I run below 30 fps. And I'm neither incompent nor clueless (I know, everybody thinks that).
  5. I've got nothinng new to say, I just want to state, that I too think this is an issue which needs to be fixed. I've played every major mmo since Everquest and a lot of small ones and I never felt so disconnected from my character's actions. I'm a patient player and not hitting keys like crazy. I enjoy games like Demon's Souls and tactical games too, but here combat feels sluggish, like swimming through tar. I don't know if this is connected, but I sometimes feel like jumping is delayed too. And I'm actually a good jump & run player too, but maybe I haven't gotten the hang of hit here. If I jump at the same edge serveral times, I feel like different things are happening. Something else is weird too: If you hit jump and then forward and time it right, you can actually jump as far as you do with a running start. But the other way round, which would be more logical, doesn't work. Ussually you run first and jump later... but not here. Maybe it's just me. Does anyone else feel this way?
  6. Amen so ziemlich. Und dann verkaufen sie es weiter als den flüssigsten spielstart aller Zeiten.
