This is the best launch I have seen in a long time, possibly ever. The staggered approach helps to keep the launch more stable and hats off to BW for ensuring the forums are keeping me entertained whilst I am waiting to get in

The unfair advantage argument is fallacious. I have seen new servers open up in other MMOs months after launch and it is not very long before the "elite" players on the new servers have caught up "competitively" with the older server’s elite players and then transfer. I have seen economies temporally borked by exploits, yet they recover much quicker than you may think. If this “advantage” of playing before others was so catastrophic, no one would ever bother joining an MMO other than at launch time.

I support the move to request language support in chat for the languages where the game is sold. Most other MMOs do this, so a potentially giant MMO should too.

Not everyone is furious with BW about the early access method, just a few very vocal ones who need to get real and calm down a little I will not get in for a few days yet I suspect, however I prefer to wait then rather than sit in long queues like I have seen at other MMO launches; that is really frustrating. If I can get in and have a smooth first few days, then I am happy to wait for that.

Getting to 50 before I can get in game does not bother me one bit; nor most I suspect. Taking your competitive race idea further; it is obvious that those playing now won the race to get their credit cards out –that was just part of the overall race.
