  1. Since there seems to be no hardware commonality with the people having problems, and other people with the same or similar hardware don't have the problems it indicates the problem isn't the hardware. But it also indicates the problem isn't with the engine in and of itself. I'd be curious if those encountering problems are on the same server, or same geographic area? Maybe one of the SWTOR datacenters is having problems and the other isn't. Perhaps (most likely imho) some of the databases are misbehaving (compared to others). Since opening up the inventory or character screen likely performs a not insignificant query. I wonder if when flagged for pvp swtor code doesn't perform different DB calls than when not. Also one has to realize how differen the underlying architecture of an MMO is than a non MMO. Even multiplayer PVP games are architected vastly different than an MMO so you can't really compare performance between the two. (Very different network and database setups for example). There is also a frighteningly large amount of people who don't seem to understand the difference between lag and latency. (and not just graphics or network).
  2. My favorite "civilian" outfit is from the light armor vendor on Balmorra. It's basically very plain purple shirt/pants.
  3. The grey traditional top is a reward for the Balmora Heroic 2+ quest "Toxic Bombs" (not sure if it's the related bonus quest or the heroic itself) The purplish set is from Hammer Station drops. (but f- me it took forever to finally get my set farming HS)
  4. I'd much rather be able to rent a vendor stall or storefront in an NPC city first. More than half of what made player cities and housing in SWG was the vendors and malls. imho of course.
  5. Tatooine, it feels the most "star warsy" to me.
  6. I guess I'm just getting old or something, but i never understood the obsession with "dual-speccing". What is the point of a game where your choices don't matter? Why not just have everyone be the same and choose to be a Healer/Tank/DPS/Control whenever they please? Why do players expect to be perfectly specced/geared for any and all situations?
  7. Because I like to make men who aren't comfortable with themselves uncomfortable. Is that what you want to hear? Come on, why do you even care? It's pixels on a screen in a fantasy game. Why does no one ask about people who aren't really force sensatives playing jedi? Or *gasp* someone on vent who's playing a twi'lek admitted they don't have lekku in real life!

  11. I believe this has been fixed on the test server. At work so can't log in to verify now.
  12. Watch live huttball matches. Bet on said live huttball matches. Win?
  13. There are indded Same sex romance options in ME2. They're just F-F, no M-M. As for trying again.. you do know ME2 is a single player game? You can save at almost any point you'd like and load that save and try somethign different.
  14. KOTOR was a single player game. Very different interpretatiosn of the law apply. Although I think those concerns are waaay overblown they are there.
