The counter to sensor dampening is the sensor radius boost.

I don't know who Large is.. but he's damn near impossible to play against.. it feels like he's everywhere.. and he routinely get a LOT of kills. Can't even get on site to do anything before I die to him most times...

The only reason people even bother with 'lag tricks' is because they think it will work like ti does for other games that they do work on. Fortunately it doesn't work quite as well as they would hope... seeing as lag hacks tend to only function well when servers are 'client side.'

I'm hearing a LOT about this. Lots of folks complaining that so and so is aimbotting or so and so is hacking somehow.... is that really whats going on? Why hasn't this been squashed already?

You know.. you don't have to buy both.. right? Just get the one you find the most asthetically pleasing.. or you have the least trouble with. (some people are more prone to disorientation with one over the other.. or just tend to run into things more often.. it happens.)

Its made extra funny in that I was flying around in a quell and leading them in a long eliptical orbit around the sat. XD TAKE THAT SCOUTS!

No, its a DDos attack, not a security breach. DDoS is simply flooding a target with junk data to make the target server or node choke... they get nothing out of the attempt.. well other than the rage of the people who lost service.

I've seen these people too... Occasionaly I will come to realization that we are badly out numbered.. and I do a headcount. Sometimes I come up short, so I watch the numbers when I get a chance.. sure enough.. there's one or two (I had a grand total of 4 in one game) folks who have no points.. no score.. I just.. wonder why they're even there. I'm pretty sure they get no requisition, no money, and no xp for not playing.. well unless we win? I guess they're trying to make the team carry them through the match? I dunno.

But they don't 'fly through.' They park there.. and one side has an advantage in doing it more than the other.

Conisdering its only viable on the one map for the one faction.. I think the best course of action would either be to A) disable to ability to fire at enemies while within the firing range of the turrets (optionally making them impossible to damage while in that range will prevent counter sniping.. lets call it the defense shield 'buff/debuff'?) Or B) Put an object in front of the spawn point like they did the imperials!!!

Note, I've only seen it on the shipyards map... but here is the gist of the tactic. Step one: Play a gunship on republic side. (imp side has an obstruction that makes this less effective.) Step two: Fly only a short distance away from the spawn point and park.. just close enough to have at least half of capture point B in range... while close to the defensive range of the spawn point's turrets. Step three: Whenever you get attacked, fly toward the defensive embrace of the spawn point's turrets. Let them kill your attackers. Bonus step, have another gunship parked further away, deep inside the defensive area.. to shoot anyone who comes after you. Therefore making it very difficult to touch either gunship. Seriously... this needs fixing. I understand the need to prevent 'spawn camping.' but you should at least make it impossible for someone to snipe from inside that area. (or levy a penalty?)

The truest answers you will get is not an answer, but another question, or several rather. Why does it matter? Why do you care? Does it bother you that the hot twi'lek female character your PC is hitting on may possibly be played by a hairy 200 lb dock worker, or an FBI agent pretending to be a 12 year old girl? Because the only answers you'll get from the so called "cross players" are going to be the ones already stated. Why? Because half of it, at the very least is true. Its not a big deal. Some people want to play a game with a strong female (or male) lead. Some are more comfortable with a female (or male) character. Others simply like to look at their character every once in a while. Some honestly don't care what gender their character is, and often pick female ones because they like the appearance options better than the male options, and vice versa. And for some, its escapism and wish fullfilment. Are any of these reasons wrong? No. In fact, they're more normal than you may realize. Here's another interesting tidbit that might help you put the puzzle pieces together more nicely.. or jumble things up worse.. depending. Did you know Physical and Mental Gender have very little to do with each other? That there are Men with feminine personalities and women with masculine ones? And there are countless variations/mixes between them? I'm not talking about which physical gender they prefer in bed, no.. that's a completely seperate can of worms that some other man/woman/ewok/sentient being can open. Its not always a conscious decision either.. people just gravitate to what they want to play and we have no right to judge their choice. Why do I play female Chars? I like them more. I am more comfortable playing them. That is all that I will share, and should not have to justify myself or others. /End discussion.

I'm looking to move to a new server and find a guild.. and specificly a guild that's into roleplaying.. and pve.. with no hardcore requirements that may be difficult for me to meet with my varying energy level and or work schedual. Any suggestions?

How can I quit if I can't stop playing? I'm in this for the long haul! Bugs? Eh.. they'll get fixed.. and most aren't really "ruining" the game for me... I hardly see most of the ones I hear about... but no game launch was ever perfect. Also, for a first time crack into the MMO market.. Bioware has been doing a good job IMO.

Also Keep in mind that trolls are loud and vocal. The majority of the whining is done by people who are just saying things to get a rise out of people. Only a small handful are legitimate complaints.

You need to sign up for the subscription after you redeem your game Key... that way you can select the billing cycle you want to start with after the first 30 days are over.

I've noticed recently that people who pre-ordered and got 1 day shipping.. not only have their copies.. but have redeemed their codes and gotten their stuff! However.. when i called my Brick and Mortar Gamestop store that I pre-ordered from... despite them being one of the sellers who delivered early... not only did they tell me that they cannot give me my copy (due to street date, which I understand... even if it feels massively unfair...) but they then went and told me that everyone who re-deemed early will get their accounts closed??? What.. the.. [Redacted]!? That.. that can't be right.. can it? I mean why allow code redemption if you're going to close the accounts for having the game early due to a fault on the seller?
