  1. That's the only answer at this point. More variety of same faction PvP maps. Of course I don't know why they think Hutball is unbalanced. The...3 times I played in the other warzones, they were also faceroll. People need to realize it's not Huttballs fault...it's just the one we blame since it's the only one we play.
  2. Note to future MMOs...two separate factions ruins PvP.
  3. This is why they let you go to the Dark side...so you can roll the underpopulated faction while still getting your evil look and red lightsaber!
  4. Sure, a select few would love to trade long waits for perfect matches...but MOST people don't. People reroll on different servers just to get better queue times. Long queues mean less people queue...and the problem then proceeds to get worse. That's why you have to because with the balance.
  5. You may not...but more people do. Meaning you won't be playing ANY PvP because no one bothers to wait 20minutes for a queue to pop.
  6. Good luck getting a queue to pop without Hutball...
  7. Are you serious? It's be quite obvious since it's inception that it wasn't going to be any different. Just another hotkey MMO. I think if you want something different you might have better luck waiting for Guild Wars 2. If we want TOR PvP to evovle, lets just hope the devs don't listen to every whiner crying for "balance" by homogenizing every classes giving everyone each their own identical version of a stun lock combo. If TOR PvP wants to be successful they need to not do what WoW did to theirs.
  8. I only know of one and that is EVE. Just about 100% of all the gear in that game is player made. But that game doesn't have "raids". No real PvE to grind gear from. In a classic style MMO...how does one make a crafting system with purpose. Last I checked in WoW, crafting in that also because pretty worthless once you max out. The pretty much had to add personal buffs/items only available to the crafter to make them more appealing. So really the only purpose to crafting in WoW(and possibly TOR) is to make comparable that can be sold on the auction house for people wanting to power level not wanted to "waste" time grinding content collecting complete sets. I see a lot of threads about how TOR crafting is also worthless...how would YOU make it worth something? How would you make it so the players ability to create things doesn't out shine the things that are found and discovered in game? When should crafting matter the most? Is it all about endgame value, or is the road to 50 also important to a viable crafting system?
  9. Macros add nothing to the game. You only need them to get an edge on people better than you, or to keep pace with people that do use them. If they are not supported across the board, everyone is equal. Competition is not effected. The bottom line is, your average casual player knows nothing about efficient macro use. While your average pro will. So what does this mean? Macros only do one thing, help stomp casuals more. Nice try, but I don't think we need macros to pwn more noobs than you can already.
  10. Bingo. It's been obvious to anyone that this was just going to be a different flavor of WoW. You want some innovation, play Guild Wars 2.
  11. I think reading these forums make me want to unsub more than the actual game does ;D I am having great fun leveling my first character. WAY more than I ever did in WoW. The single player has so much more immersion. You can't deny that. And I laugh at people who try to boil it all down to "wasting millions on voice acting". Story immersion is a big deal. It makes leveling a character/class fun. Why watch a movie when you can just read the book? It's pretty much the same comparison. Sure some people like reading more and quite often the books have much better stories...but people spend millions on making movies and people watch them. As far as "missing features", I haven't found any major ones yet, it's all pretty much WoW to me. I thought all of you were expecting this? I wasn't even following this game since it's inception and it was obvious to me. If you wanted something that actually different and innovative, you are going to play Guild Wars 2. If you want WoW with a Star Wars flavor..that's why you are here.
  12. So it doesn't proc off of Force Lightning? I notice it rarely proccing as well and I swear I see tons of crits go off with no healing proc.

    No arenas? Bye

Arenas don't work in PvE based MMOs...look what happen to WoW PvP...enough said. Arena type competitive PvP needs to be PvP from the ground up. You want Arena based PvP play Bloodline Champions. Please don't beg the devs into breaking PvP in TOR. Balance should be based around BGs, not 3v3 flavor of the month nerf/buff rotations.
  14. It's either knockbacks or stuns. At least knockbacks are more interesting forms of CC. If you don't have that you just have a numbers race of DPS and HPS. Making positioning a big part of gameplay is better, not worse. Don't you people want this game to be better than WoW not worse?
