  1. Some very amusing lines, but it's the weakest of the campaigns I've played so far. Even ignoring the issues with overall plotline it just doesn't fit with what's going on in the nonclass quests and the character in general. There's not really any particularly sensible motivation or reasoning for why the republic military seems to trust some random civilian an awful lot in the general quests etc.
  2. When you link something on a subscription/signup only site, no one is going to read/watch it. Just a heads up.

I've already unsubscribed after the first free month and all but two of the people I levelled with have too - really wanted to like the game and enjoyed the pre endgame stuff immensely, but the animation/latency bugs/control responsiveness are beyond crippling. Kick etc being blocked by animations is just gamebreaking. I hope they fix this though, definitely interested in another look when (if? it seems very core) gets fixed.
  4. Add to that defense and shield generators don't really do anything in pvp anyway and I have no idea why anyone would want to use this set on a merc, let alone think it was too good.
  5. Shrug, not going to argue - most of my experience is with melee in this game. Perhaps the people I talked to didn't notice it as much. I can guarentee there's some pretty lol melee bugs too though. If you're talking about stuff like mortar or reload -> full auto etc then yeah it's pretty horrible, but not quite the same as what I was talking about.
  6. Which I suspect isn't as badly bugged. I can sometimes be spam pressing kick (and yes have focus) and still have nothing happen (note - not even triggering the cooldown, not just missing the kick) on a JG depending on what parry/attack animations are happening. Needless to say, it's a problem.
  7. What class do you play? Some classes (particularly casters) aren't as impacted, while JK/SW are probably bugged the worst. Edit: there's multiple issues here and we're talking about different ones in the melee vs caster comments here - check the rest of the thread
  8. Yeah, but that'd be the case no matter what - the map design is retarded. It's far too easy to defend two since if you're controlling middle + 1 you can see where everyone goes and get there first.
  9. No matter what opinion you have of your skill level, you really are terrible and don't understand what you're doing if you can't 3v1 a healer in this game (or WoW for that matter). If there was a tank guarding/taunting etc that's quite a different matter, but it's hardly a matter of unkillable healers then. Even a sage/sorc just has shield and a very weak hot for noninterruptable healing - anything else just shouldn't be going off vs 3 dps and if it takes you 2 minutes to burn through that...
  10. There's a ton yeah (pet annoyance this week is what happens when you do recharge cells -> full auto, not good), and off GCD abilities don't seem to work if you're in an animation - for example I find that force kick doesn't often do anything at certain points in the overhead slash animation.

I suspect it's possible to crit that hard if you've stacked the hell out of surge and have every buff in existence on a low armor character with no expertise and none of the damage reduction talents/buffs, but I don't believe the force armor part. 13k is already really pushing the boundaries of what's plausible, 15-16k is unbelievable.
  12. Ammo/heat work the same way - the idea is to penalize you for doing exactly what you're trying to do (dump all your resource and try to instagib someone).
  13. It fixes by far the worst issue for pre 50s, which was facing 50s with access to high end gear and getting 2 shot.
  14. I semiregularly die in or just after the 3s knockdown to very geared operatives on a JG in full champion gear. Yes this is usually consumable stacking, but it's a little silly to blame all the qq op threads on operatives just countering sages. I'm pretty sure the instagibs happen to everyone, a preemptive bubble is worth a lot more than the armor difference I think. It's very apparent that something is pretty badly out of whack when playing, and unless you're already aware of how insanely broken biochem is (and surge scaling in general, but hey), your first conclusion is probably that operatives are broken.
  15. Yeah this is one of the worst issues - it seems to be because of how animations are tied to the effects of abilities. You can get into a situation where you press kick, you see the action bar icon flash indicating you did and then nothing happens - it doesn't even go on cooldown - because a parry animation played or something. Happens with other abilities too, but that one is by far the most irritating.
