  1. What you want is not necessarily what I want. I would not have bought the CE if it didn't offer in-game content. The status is nice, sure, but it isn't worth $90.
  2. Some customers contributed 2.5x what others did to that cost recouping fund. Not everyone is equal. The CE vendor sucks. It has nothing for my JK since the only armor is light.
  3. I got my CE from GameStop via UPS yesterday (12/16). So, there's definitely no GS policy about not breaking street date for this game.
  4. My JK would look ridiculous in the Republic Armor. Plus, isn't it light armor and thus useless for me? Anyway, I have little hope that they'll really add much to the CE vendor in the future. They have to decide between allocating resources to new content that everyone can enjoy or to new cosmetic items for only CE owners. Which wins? It's almost never the latter.
  5. I hope it's an oversight. Otherwise, we'll all end up leveling and unlearning multiple crew skills and that sounds like a very tedious chore.
  6. GameStop also shipped on the 15th. My CE arrived this morning.
  7. The examples, obviously. They're... awesome.
  8. If anything, I think the similarities will help SW:TOR. People like things that are familiar to them. SW:TOR adds enough to be its own thing, but borrows enough from WoW (and similar) to still feel like a good MMO. Lots of other "WoW killers" failed because they were too different.
  9. This site has lots of info: http://liberi-fatali.net/the-old-republic/star-wars-the-old-republic-guide-and-faq/
  10. WoW was broken for months after launch. Hell, even more than 2 years after launch they were giving out free playtime because some servers would just go down for days. I think that WoW was just ahead of its time in terms of hardware requirements. The updated servers are much, much better. Why did you think that? BioWare has been saying since the very start that EGA would be phased and based on the order that you registered your pre-order code. That information is posted everywhere. I'm usually the last guy to defend a big corporation like EA, but they're right this time. It's your own damn fault if you didn't bother to read the pre-order stuff.
