The story was great. Well worth a sub.
The rest of the content. Building base. Spacestations. Recruiting companions who were boring anyway. Pretty dull.
I'll comeback like most in a year for the rest of the story.

swtors biggest weakness has always been content updates. Having to get 16 voice artists to record for every little side quest really holds things up. If theres a choice between a voiced side quest that has no bearing on my main story or characters development or 16 times the side content unvoiced. Give me the content any day. Leave the VO for the main story.

From what I gathered Valkorian is doing on a personal scale what Vitiate was doing on a galactic one.
You have the light and the dark sons. Who Valkorian is testing endlessly at the same time as Vitiate is manipulating the light and the dark into a test of war via Revan and his emperors children. So it would seem the sons are a manifestation of the Sith and Jedi. He gets everything to turn on each other to find the more powerful. While it seems Arcann is the stronger. Even physically he has taken on the dark robotic replacement bodyparts that seem to hint at him representing both now. Much similar to the way you are manipulated into forming an alliance of what is left of the Sith Empire and Republic.
While this is happening he has a third galactic player Zakuul hidden and waiting. Interestingly there is also a third child in all of this. Who is the most powerful of the three who he has locked the power of their mind away. That her name begins with the same letter as the other two manifestations makes me think whatever he did to her mind that Vailyn may well be him aswell.
He seems to be manipulating everyone.

If Vitiate is doing what I think hes doing. Then this storyline is up there with kotor. In fact its up there with any games story.

That would be awesome! Companion dies and you loose the stuff too! That would make things a challenge at least. As it is, I have no control over who dies in the story. It was pretty automatic.
You can click on retrieve gear from dead companions on the alliance screen anyway

You cant expect them to keep 16 main voice actors on for patches after an expansion story. They did well to have the budget to keep them this long with subs not even remotely what they expected when they launched with 16 fully voiced main characters.

If you want fully voiced missions after the main story go find 500k subs so EA will give them the budget to do it.

According to some people you don't exist, since they do not share your money troubles, or disposable income is somehow easier for them to obtain it should therefor be easier for you to obtain, but again to them you and people like you do not exist.
There are homeless people all over the country. You get paid on the wrong day to sub to a game. First world troubles.

Im at 60% after half an hour steady at 8.0mb/s. If its taking hours theres probably a slow connection somewhere between you and the server.

It would be no different than Luke against Vader. Malgus would overpower non-Jedi Luke but the Force would never let him win. Even if it were possible as with everything it would be part of the overall plan to let Luke reach his potential. Where Malgus isnt in the same league.

I love the strawman of 'stop trying to stop guilds grouping up'. They can against other groups. The sad truth is they dont play for that or ranked wouldnt be dead.

They will never be able to fix it. Its mmo mentality. Premades always said they didn't want to fight pugs but there was no premade queue. Then they all abandoned ranked when they found fighting other premades was too hard. Now they say its because pop are too slow.
Same reason players get 190 gear for free and elite/ultimate comm fall like rain from easy dailies they have overleveled. They dont play mmos for a challenge anymore. Its about qsyncing being handed stuff then going back to decorating your house with cm stuff.

That scoreboard is the worst example you could possibly have posted. You have 2 trash healers and a bunch of really bad dps. Yet still won because they couldn't clear a side faster than you. So heals do win even when really bad.
Also you say they had more kills when youre only doing 600k heals. Yes they did. You are the reason.

From what I gathered of the Voss during the main stories they are pretty isolationist and all talk in that trippy spiritual monk type way. It just doesnt seem in character to have them act like the class characters core races. Voss are a to stereotyped. They wouldnt work for a rpg as a main character but are perfect companions.

It was a gameplay stream. They gave loads of hints you just needed to listen to the phasing of the dialogue.

Had the same double premade in lower tier queue all *********** night. At least split the *********** up.

Yes it is. My guild moved on years ago and I dont have the time to get into all that raiding anymore.
I want something I can jump into. Do some story that doesnt depend on others and a bit of pvp than log out.
