  1. Yeah, you're original point doesn't make much sense, because if they only purchase 10 and then put them back up at a higher price, yours will still be listed as less expensive. I can understand your second point, but I think what you ought to consider is that there will still be people playing the market. Think of the items as commodities and the GTN a commodity market. Do you get a discount on Brent Crude oil if you purchase 1000 barrels as opposed to only 10? No. There might be a slight rush to the bottom at first (at least on the regular green mats), but the market will certainly stabilize. If you look at the market and think they're all listed WAY too low, you have two options, either purchase their stacks and put them back up at a price you think is appropriate (there is risk here, just like any market) OR wait for the prices to come back up and place yours on there then. As with almost any MMO there will be inflation as more and more people gain max level and therefore more income. Really, there's no need to fear not being able to make money selling your items.
  2. Oh yeah, THIS! The way it is now makes pricing something annoying, especially if you have a lot of items to throw up on the market.
  3. I like you list a lot! If they incorporated these suggestions, I'm sure there would be a lot fewer people complaining. Personally, I don't think I need the 100 limit, I think 50 is fine, but I wouldn't complain about getting the extra slots! Something I would LOVE to see is an ability to price crafting mats per individual item, instead of prices for stacks. Splitting a stack of 99 into 10 stacks of 10, is annoying, takes a lot of space and doesn't help anyone. I'd much rather price those items at say 10 credits per (or whatever) and still leave them all stacked together. If they don't all sell, you get the remaining sent back.
  4. lol interesting. Another thing I've noticed is that 3 crew skill classes require the use of UW metals where as only 1 use UW Fabrics. This has led to a glut of fabrics on the GTN and scarcity of metals. Metals cost ~10x more than same level Fabrics and of course my mission box is LOADED with Fabrics and companion gifts. If I'm lucky I get 1 moderate metal thrown in...
  5. I suppose you just opened my eye as to why I'm completely unable to make any profit. You see, 3 crewskills require UW metals, while only 1 requires the fabrics. Under the current conditions, this leads to a flood of fabrics and a scarcity of metals. Yet, Fabrics have the same chance of popping up? As a synthweaver, I imagine that you have little problem with this, but I ask you to place yourself in the boots of another for a moment.... I checked prices of same level metals and fabrics on the GTN. Metals cost at least 10x more than the fabrics. No wonder you're not complaining!one!1!
  6. EQ2 and I think most of SOE's other games...
  7. I have to admit that I was indeed already snickering and this made me lol ! Thank you for the laughs. I'm sorry that you had a hard time getting laid, but if you're body type 3... what did you expect? Anyway, I'm going to go hide my sexist face in shame. Have a nice day!
  8. I don't recall Han or Chewy crafting anything but.../shrug
  9. Yes, you can get crew skills at level one. In fact, by clicking on each of the trainers, you can gain a level or two. But no, there's nothing to gather on the first planet and you can't craft anything until you get your first companion.
  10. Yes, because the GTN is not in the least bit annoyingly ridiculous... I've tried selling those fabrics and companion gifts, but guess what? I sure as heck don't make any profit from them. At least not if I don't want to have to throw them up 20 times before they actually sell
  11. lol, so you take pleasure in not being able to get the missions that can actually help you in your chosen crew skill? Gottcha!
  12. I came here to complain about this very issue, though I did not know the ship zoning trick. It is EXTREMELY frustrating not having any abundant/bountiful/rich missions for UT Metals (As Cybertech and Armortech). I coulda sworn that I saw somewhere in some patch notes that they had, supposedly, fixed this? For the love of God, please fix this. If it's a matter of some sort of available missions limit, as you gain skill, please just drop the "Moderate" quality missions! I mean, once you can do the others, why on earth would you want to use one of them?
  13. You're seriously trying to say that I started the insults? My, my, how interesting selective memory can be. I suspect I could write a Psychology paper on you. Why don't you try and backtrack the discussion. Notice where I reply to you? THEN the posts start disappearing... hmm, what could that POSSIBLY mean? Ah well, I'm sure you're particular brand of psychosis STILL won't allow you to see the truth and you're really not worth the time, so have a nice day and have fun!
  14. I've done well over 60 level 23 green chests, trying to get a blue schematic (ANY blue schematic!) before throwing up my hands and leaving crewskills in the dust. I just don't see it as being in anyway profitable or necessary, once you reach 50, so... But that's just my experience. I've seen people say that they've done 100+ and 200+ without getting the upgrade. These stories very much helped me in my decision...
