if you properly use assault trigger skills it's not "far more" mobile than gunnery. gunnery is pretty fine for pvp atm.

only talking for "fun" part, imo commando is more funnier. however pvp and pve performance depending on different specs is the part you have to decide yourself if what you expect.

I lvled from 27-35 with my sniper which I would do the same without double XP:) but I really didn't play much and pvped most of the time. It was fun to ding in blink of an eye:) I plan to hit 50 next weekend.

That's the point, if they are able to leap that means ur in their death range:) what i mostly try to mean is that they are dangerous true that but also avoidable or killable. When im playing with my commando i avoid to distract them and attack mostly when they are busy with another one. But when im playing with my sin i sneak to them and attack without fear. Brifely I don't think they are OP, they are just what they are meant to be -close combat experts-.

In the hands of experienced and good skilled players, marauder/sentinels can be very very deadly. However I also believe that this class can do insane dmg but still not OP as there are many ways to counter them. I faced many +20k hp marauders/sentinels which I beat 1v1 with even commando dps. and also faced with some which I couldn't even move and died instantly. Besides I really respect good mara/senti players. I think it's not easy to master this class. So if you have trouble with em, stay away from them:)

the only place i can play a trooper (in an MMO) after watching clone wars animated series because it is Star Wars!!! if I was only looking for game mechanics and other stuff then probably I wouldn't be here.

I'm not against a personal house, do not want or expect it either. I would play sims if I liked to decorate my virtual house. I think developers have more important stuff to fix/develope b4 housing.

If you don't have a special interest or love for commando stay away until it's fixed Although I don't have much experience as a commando healer, what i see is that ppl r saying sage or scoundrel is better. The only motive making me play commando is the clone wars animation after watching it i play a few WZs and then go back to other classes:)

as i see u r at least in your mid 30s or maybe older. so i think u should alrdy understand the facts of business. this is not a charity work. companies release games to earn money and like it or not the game industry/market has evolved to that point. make ppl stay in the game as long as you can while getting money from them constantly. old days are over and won't be back anymore. I remember the days when the only video game i could play was ping pong. the fun and excitement was over the top back at these days. and it was only a very simple ping pong game.

first things first this is not an "old school" style MMO so I do not compare with those games. to be honest I myself also would like to have the opportunity to play PVE and PVP in the same level without a gear restriction. Bu the point (which was mentioned above already) is the way of collecting the gear. If a PVPer and PVEer give the same effort then it's OK. as a non-old school MMO, in WoW (classic) a PVPer with full gear was able to raid with that gear in high end PVE content. I remember we had an off tank with full PVP tank gear and he was doing ok. on the other hand I was able to compete wtih other players in battle grounds with my pve gear. however the gear gathering process was more or less the same for both parts and it was a trade off for the player. But these games nowadays want you to spend more and more time in game so that you would keep paying for it. So why cutting off the grinding time? It is not possible anymore. as long as the gear is your skill point modifier it will be like that. if it was like in DnD table top game rules which your skill points was completely relevant with your choice of distribution and a gear with +skill was a very rare thing then there wudnt be a pve or pvp gear and therefore no grind.

As the title says, please stop insulting others in WZs when your team loose. Let's assume that all those players who insult others are really good skilled players. But if "really" the team fails then just quit or silently wait the torture to end. "Morons", "Srsly L2p", "ffs quit game", "go play wow" etc... do these insults make u any better than the team? No. You may be a looser in RL and try to satisfy yourself by this way but it has no use. By the way at the end of the WZ when u see the list most of these insulting players are below average (protection, damage, healing). You may say that they just give up and don't play. Ok let's say it is so, then they also deserve to be insulted as they do nothing but just talk. This is a game if you can not accept loosing, don't play. Or just group up with your elitist, super skilled friends and play with them, do not pug. Briefly, yes there are morons or players can sometimes do unbelievable mistakes (which they may also be aware of the mistake they've done) but nothing gives you the right to insult.

nowadays the connection is really bad in WZs. while the target is in front of me 1 sec later i see him dead lying miles away or many other things like that. i checked my connection but nothing seems wrong. do you also have this problem. btw my server is ToFN maybe that's a server specific problem.
