  1. As NoTomorrow has said, Operative/Scoundrel DPS using the Leth/DF specs are going to now be more valuable. With Exfiltrate and Stealth, that tank busting or high dps that a Sniper Leth provided is now on the move, faster and obviously stealthed. With the new Fatality proc (60% chance for Shiv to proc Fatality which will cause Cull to regrant a TA and cause no energy) Operatives might be able to pump out more damage than Sniper Leth overall. I've been waiting for awhile to switch my Operative from heals to DPS if they ever fix TA generation for Lethality, so I'm pretty excited for 2.0. Operative DPS, out of all the classes not already in ranked teams, is probably the biggest up for consideration to join the "good composition" ACs.
  2. The Tank Buster now become ONLY Lethallity Sniper OR Operative. Deception spec seems like it could do some damage to tanks from internal damage from Surging Charge, but I've only scanned through it. Check out the skill calculator here: http://pts.swtor-spy.com/skill-tree-calculator/sith-assassin/222/
  3. Are we to assume that there are higher level Augments than 22 now? Since there will be MK-7 to possibly 9?
  4. Don't count out Lethality for DPS Operative in 2.0, it's looking pretty good, check out the skill trees. Found this, and it needs to be passed around. http://pts.swtor-spy.com/skill-tree-calculator/
  5. How often do you get into cover for Wounding Shots just to make sure you don't get interrupted? That's the one advantage of taking that one second to set yourself up so a basic interrupt ability can't stop your Wounding Shots. Again, I haven't tried DF so I'm trying to check out some opinions and experiences.
  6. Which that is why I'm taking my time and testing out each spec. I leveled as a Sab, trying Sharpshooter whenever I get huttball or if my team wants me to be more accessible to target switching (which without a doubt is best at that). I have yet to try Dirty Fighting, but that's only because I wanted to wait until I got my crit a bit higher to generate energy from. Honestly, whichever spec you are most comfortable with or that just fits how you play, just stick with it. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try them all, its well worth knowing what each can and can't do. I know already that a small negative of DF is that you are limited to using just flash bang to knock an opposing Sniper out of cover where as Diversion or the Shock Charge/Incendiary Nade combo allows that. I know that's just against opposing Snipers/Slingers, but I have found myself in more firefights against them in 50s than I had originally thought I would. Although until I play DF, I will see how much of a negative that is to me. Maybe it's worth it, maybe it's not. That's why trying all 3 specs is worth it. Every spec has a place in RWZ, its all about the player.
  7. Well, I don't know about "see" he is a stealther ya know. It was definitely weird yesterday going against Peb, but I'll always remember the first time I killed him from Republic side because I did it with a Dirty Kick Kicked Peb so hard in the balls it killed him, now that's a real Smuggler.
  8. Bumping this up a bit for anyone new who just started live streams or havent seen them yet
  9. To defend BW, which is something rarely done, but as fellow video game creator I have to defend them. I don't agree with that BW HAS to give us more specific time frame their future content will come out. Yes in a perfect world, they will give us all the information of when new content will be coming out and it will come out exactly when they say. That VERY RARELY happens without complications. It's overall better for any company to not say specifics or make full "guarantees" because there can easily be problems that arise that can push back a release of content. As a customer of their product I understand its annoying at times, but there is the full process of testing, fixing, testing, more fixing, etc. It's a long and crazy process that involves even the smallest change to fix something might cause something else to go wrong. With how HUGE this game is, there can be many chain reaction effects to anything changed. So if BW gives a specific date, two things can easily happen; the content gets rushed to meet the deadline which will at least double or triple the amount of bugs or problems and the customer will be angry with the lower quality OR they won't meet the specific date, which upsets the customers because the "promise" of content on that date is failed. I'd rather take the better quality and trust BW to get content out when they are ready to. The thing I do agree with is more Developer Blogs to keep us more in the loop.
  10. Old school in terms of a wish list, but......GUILD CAPITAL SHIPS! Besides that craziness, I'd like to get my Trooper onto this server, I've done the story too much I just don't want to start it over again. So my top would actually be Paid Character Transfers, maybe in Cartel Coins?
  11. I second this motion to make these channels! Great idea Xav
  12. I miss huge World PvP events so much! For this to happen monthly would be awesome! I would like to also suggest maybe playing on other planets? Each month the battle moves to another planet such as Hoth (many open area battle grounds to choose from), Voss (North side of the Gormak Lands between the two bases), Ilum (getting redone soon), Alderaan (Somewhere, maybe the river in Glarus Valley), Belsavis (maybe Minimum Security Section?), and/or Correllia (Black Hole between each faction side). Between all those battlegrounds that can easily be rotated for some change of scenery each month.
  13. Thank you for the clarification, I'll be sure to pass this along to SC and see how many teams we can field
  14. After a few weeks of round robin matches, it will start to form a Leaderboard of sorts which then we can base it on. Plus remember what Jerc said about "Each player plays only for their team during the entire tourney." So I would assume that would take care of the "alts" on a different team or same team to affect rating. I'm mostly in favor of weekly round robin matches and we just keep track of our records and rank teams via records on a Leaderboard which could eventually culminate into tourney(s) after we establish some rankings. Now of course you as a player won't be indefinitely stuck with the team you start with in case teams split or pick up other players, but while you are registered with a team, you cannot play as an alt or sub for another team. Subbing could be done with players that aren't already on a team.
  15. This sounds awesome! Would definitely put a lot more pressure on guilds that are working on putting a team together to really get going.
  16. Wait, the pod-racer is anti-knockdown? So if someone has it and goes through Outlaws Den, they won't be knocked off unless they are killed?
  17. Something that I had recently thought about was the mentality behind buffing classes and nerfing classes. We all know what they each mean, but their affect on gamers is drastically different. These days everyone is asking, yelling, screaming, qqing, etc. for nerfing which is a negative impact on the classes themselves and in affect negatively on the players that play them. Taking a strong class that many players use and effectively hurting them to bring them down to the level of other classes. In the early days of SWTOR, there was a lot of Nerfing which caused many players to leave the game because their class was hurt by a nerf. Some of it was necessary and some wasn't when we look back at it today. Some of the most recent class rebalancing that has been done have actually been buffs which brings a positive influence back to players. I've seen many old players returning and other players rolling other classes that got buffed. Yes there are FOTMs but as an example, I made an Assassin because they rebalanced the Deception tree and it looked like a lot of fun. We are now past the times of crazy Nerfing or Buffing. It's all little tweaks at this point, that is until the level cap gets raised and new skills get added to the trees and we will have to see then. For now I don't think there is really any class that needs a crazy nerf. Yes minor tweak to the bubble spec (or just the resolve mechanic) or maybe decrease the damage output of the smashers, but it's not that bad. We know at least one class that needs a decent buff, Mercenary/Commando. That is honestly the only class that needs the biggest change buff or nerf. Overall, you keep players around and happy with buffs, not nerfs. Not to say nerfs shouldn't be done, they are needed, but not to the amount that people are crying over. Example, what happened to all the Operative/Scoundrel players early in the game? They switched classes or stopped playing after early updates. Same with early Sorcs/Sages and then they got buffed with the Bubble which drove a lot of players to create a Sorc/Sage. What do you think will happen if Mercs/Commandos get a decent buff? More people will play them which overall means they are playing the game more.
  18. Dang I missed out on that Got tunnel visioned into my Agent story line (which is amazing). For awhile SC was even wondering if anybody still qued ranked since we have been doing kickball within our guild for about 2 weeks without interruption. Good to see other guilds getting back into it.
  19. Small addition that would be nice is that after Duels all your abilities finish their CDs once the duel is over. Obviously won't be allowed to duel in WZs (unless you already can't, I don't recall). Just allows for more duels instead of waiting around on CDs to finish.
  20. Giving a shout out to Shien Republic and Inconceivable for some great games last night. A really close one on Novare Coast that came down to 2% - 0% was just a crazy fight. Specifically Reilen and Victimize were two that would consistently either not die or get in my way
