  1. Just 3 days ago I was flying through space and, on a side note, wasted 70 Enemy fighters and a couple of Starship turrets. I thought... wow what computer do you need to get this scenery for complete free flight and with my buddies. I think that would be ******, but I don't think it would be possible. Not with very serious level limitations (Size of the area). But they are beautiful... *sigh*
  2. I wouldn't subscribe to that. While it is true, that Kendo strikes are devastating, the wushu way is to be quick and move around a lot. You do little cuts and slashes, which will hinder your opponent until he loses. With a light sabre this is more effective than brute force, which you don't really need with a light sabre. And while you do your devastating blow, I have hit you 2 or 3 times. But just a bit
  3. The sword fights in EP IV were very static. they couldn't club the swords together like a pair of claymores. That battle was quite medieval and a bit Samuraiesque. Just like wielding heavy swords. In the prequels, sword fighting took a wide jump to Chinese and Asian martial arts. I'm doing chinese sword fighting myself and a lot of the moves are just standard tricks you learn in the beginning. For a weightless blade these moves are much more realistic than the heavy and slow moves from EP IV - VI. And about turning your back: Yes, you shouldn't do it, but sometimes it's better than getting off balance. So spin around and be ready for the next strike. By the way, a realistic fight would be comparably boring. I loved the fight sequence! So much action, so much fun!
  4. I think it is because the Aristocracy of the Republic speaks british english, just like the empire and some rebel alliance officials did in the movies. The normal folk would rather speak American english. I think in the original Movie it was just to distinguish good from bad...
  5. By the Way, B-Wing stands for Blade-Wing, because it looks like a Dagger. I can't decide which one my favourite is. I'm running somewhere between Super Star Destroyer, B-Wing and TIE-Interceptor. This is a hard choice...
  6. Hm... Strange... I don't think we really need that... Resizing and relocating for better overview is okay, but the rest? Maybe it's because I'm more casual in my play style. But I had no problems with WoW Raids, with the normal UI configuration... And right now I don't see any problems in TOR. So it's not as all but a... let me say few, have a real problem with the UI... I do understand why you want it, but I can understand Bioware, why they don't fix the UI asap. Regards!
  7. Maybe it's embarassing, but I needed 5 tries to succeed in the Fondor Mission. Until I adjusted the mouse speed, I couldn't do it. But even then, I managed it on the last couple of percent life. Maybe my mouse is broken... it seems to jump sometimes... The sensor is clean, no dirt etc... Regards!
  8. Yes, just like my wow Nightelf No, seriously, I noticed it too. I expect jedis to jump jedi way, not like a grunt A high jump feat would be nice too. Except there already is on an I just didn't get it yet (lvl 13). Greetings!
  9. I remember waiting for WoW access more than an hour. Especially on weekends. And it's not about some high ranking guild server. Right now, I don't mind, there are other lightly populated servers... Which reminds me... got to install remote desktop connection so I can get in queue from work and then bike home to play Greetings!
