Hello everyone of this great game and I'm from the UK. I've been playing since last week and I've been having a great blast with this game, I love the character story concept and being able to do light or dark choices but I've hit a point where I'm struggling to outright choose a class to keep to as my main character. I've already tried each of all of the classes and I still can't make my mind up. The classes that seem to interest me the most are: Trooper Commando Bounty Hunter Mercenary Sith Inquisitor Sorcerer Jedi Knight Sentinel Typically I prefer attacking from far away as that's what I found I liked most when I used to play World of Warcraft and I wasn't very good with melee in PvP but that was then and now I'm kinda more interested in either route. I'm simply not very good at making choices, I'm really not sure what is cooler, lightsabers to me are the weapon that made Star Wars famous so that's one way to look at it, perhaps with powerful lightning but on the other hand who doesn't like rocket explosives and in the case of Bounty Hunter, flamethrower and a Street Fighter punch. This game is one tough cookie when it comes to choices.

At the moment I'm having a choice dilemma between Sith Sorcerer and Bounty Hunter Mercenary, both classes of which I enjoy quite well. One good question I would like to ask, how good is Sorcerers AoE, Crowd Control and what is the difference in the damage they do? The only things I do know is while Bounty Hunter is better armored, Sith Sorcerer has a lightsaber but has worse armor. I don't know if I should just go with Sorcerer anyway because lightsabers are the most famous aspect of Star Wars? It's hard to choose between cool colourful lightning casting to big bang explosives? :s

Hmm, I'm still struggling to pick one from the other. :s Excluding Jedi Knight of which I'm not really a liker of pure melee combat, Bounty Hunter and Sith Inquisitors both are great at attacking from range but it's not easy to choose which style is better. Do I shock people with cool purple Lightning and have a lightsaber at hand which is what makes Star Wars famous or do I blast things with big awesome explosives, smack with a Street Fighter punch and burn with a cool flamethrower?

Sith Inquisitor I found seemed rather troublesome to play, don't get me wrong I love the lightning casting and the fact you have a lightsaber when you might need it but they have the worst armor and I've had problems fighting Khem Val. Bounty Hunter on the other hand was a whole lot easier and is more in control of the fights like being more mobile and the better armor, Dart Explosive and Rockets are frigging hilarious when used together against groups of enemies, probably making it one of the more interesting classes in the game. As for Jedi Knight, even if I've had a bad run using melee in WoW's PvP as I used to suck at it, I still feel that I should strive more to a new direction. But you could say I still have learn to play issues with this type of playstyle. There's a few questions I want to ask, according to a friend of mine, he says Bounty Hunter is better at AoE and crowd control than Sith Inquisitor, is that true? Also how powerful is Sith Inquisitor to Bounty Hunter? So what do you all reckon guys? I'm never great with choices.

I'm going as Sorcerer, I just prefer firing down at people from far away.

Well since I'm getting lots of comments saying I should stick to Sith Inquisitor, then I guess I'll do just that instead of Bounty Hunter, sure they have flamethrowers and rockets but it's not quite as exciting as being a Sith Lord with lightsaber in hand and fries people with lightning. I'm glad of the comments about the two said missions I've been having most problems with and for the record I just played the game with normal gear you get from missions so I never bought any gear or medpacks. So I must "Do. Or do not. There is no try"

Probably, I'm not very quick with my actions which could explain my issue. You did it at level 7? Wow, how did you manage that since Khem is level 10? What is the strategy you did to beat him?

I'm not happy, I've been playing Sith Inquisitor a lot recently and although I do like the force lightning part of the class but defense wise the class is awful, I honestly tried to do the mission to get the first companion at level 8 and as you have to fight him, I just can't beat the monster. My attacks just weren't doing anything to him and he hits like a truck. So I'm thinking it's probably not the right class for me, as I prefer range classes I'm wondering if I should instead go as a Trooper or Bounty Hunter? Obviously Trooper and Bounty Hunter are exactly the same class, the differences are that Bounty Hunter has the better storyline, cooler animations (flamethrower and Street Fighter punch) and better companions. For the Trooper I usually prefer the side that's suppose to be the good guys, although it's cool you get bigger and better guns as you go on but other than that, that's about it.

What would be the most ideal Lightning build to go for? I mainly want to aim for PvP. Is it better to go full Lightning or would it be better to go with a Lightning/Madness hybrid build with Wrath?
