From what I know I notice that these classes have to mash keys more often and have to move about more but with pvp it can be harder to see your character while in the thick of battle.

The game isn't so much of an RPG but it's still an MMO such as auction house trading, group pvp matches and doing instances with groups. To be honest games like this and WoW have more in the way of single player, the biggest difference is that SWTOR has a more character driven single player storyline while WoW doesn't really have such a thing.

I'm really confused, there now this window that pops up now and then saying the Light or Dark grows stronger in you by whatever amount while your not doing anything. Can anyone explain to me what this is? It doesn't make any sense to me.

So far the only available skin colours are dark blue, light blue, light green, olive green, peach, yellow, red, pink and various shades of white when under Dark side corruption however I notice that there are skin colours that are not in the game. Those colours being; Purple, Orange and White (without Dark side corruption).

Oh ok, I might as well stick with The Red Eclipse then if I want to really experience the multiplayer aspect of the game.

Yeah I originally started on ToFN but when I heard there's more pvp going on Red Eclipse than ToFN, makes me wonder why ToFN just isn't working out.

I'm not entirely sure which of these I should aim for, I like using the more Telekinetic attacks more so I go with that but I'm not entirely sure which way to go with it. A full TK gets Turbulence but it may not be so ideal for pvp as you got to move about a lot, a TK/Balance Hybrid provides a lot more mobility but at the expense of not having a powerful burst attack which Turbulence would have given. I would appropriate the help along with talent builds as I'm currently leveling my own Sage that's level 17 now as for the moment.

From what I've been told, going Telekinetics as a Sage is suicide and the same is probably the same for Commando. That's not fair, I prefer casting and doing big damage, not DoTing that's as slow as waiting for paint to dry.

That's fine, I'm not really into healing although I usually prefer Telekinetics.

I'm currently unsure if I should choose to go with Sage/Sorcerer, the other choice I'm going with are Commando/Mercenary. I'm aware Sage/Sorc are really good as healers but from a pvp dps stand point they lack the survivability. Please tell me they are not as bad as it may seem?

What I want to know is, if your aiming for Light or Dark with a character, should you only ever take the alignment choices your aiming for or should you simply just choose what you feel is right for the character? Like Light for the biggest majority but sometimes make Dark choices like for the case of Jedi Knights romances where you have to eat up Dark side points in-order to actually romance.

I of recently been using both mouse clicking and the Razer Naga Epic keyboarding on the side of it, you say Sentinel is a very button mashy class but then are you imply that I should learn the class well and try not to get to a point where no damage is happening. As for the melee and range thing, it's hard to tell at the moment but from my last playthrough I started to gain a liking to the Force Charging and bashing stuff. But it's going to get some getting used to as for most of my MMO gaming years I played only ranged because of it being easier at the time but I'm probably now at a stage where I'm open to all playstyles.

Hey there, I am really lost on whatever class to play now. First of all I don't what playstyle to aim for, Melee or Ranged, it's really difficult to know which is best. Recently I've been trying out Jedi Sentinel and but there's no end of people saying it's an extremely complex class to play with and the 3 specs are a bit over the place in my opinion but only because I can't tell the specs apart from good or bad. I since deleted the level 10 character believing Sentinel by everyone's word that it's a terrible class but I'm not sure if I've made a big mistake. I do know that I'm mainly siding with the Republic and I want to dps, the such and such classes that appeal to me are follows: Jedi Sage Jedi Sentinel Jedi Guardian Jedi Shadow Mercenary Sorry Smugglers, your cowards for only using best abilities while in cover which I find annoying and "disturbing".
