  1. It's actually a 1.5% chance to drop 3/3 of the same item for a specific class (the helm in your case), not 6%. Which goes to show, something is off behind the scenes.
  2. You will never make everyone happy. You don't need three tiers of difficulty. THis causes delays in content, bugs, and gear inflation of epic proportions. When WoW was at it's peak, it didn't have "difficulty" levels. It had one, a RAID. Raids are supposed to be hard, not for casuals that will whine about EVERYTHING that causes them a little delay, or makes them try to think to overcome a situation. Two tiers, because it's already too late to go to one, would be much more efficient than three and allow them to make more content, faster, with more mechanics.
  3. Chances of the same three pieces of gear dropping: Assuming the chances are equal for each class, 100/4 = 25% So, using probability, the chances of three of the same peices are (.25)^3 = 0.0156 0.015 = 1.5% chance to drop the same three pieces of tier in the same, single fight... it happens so much more than that it possibly cannot be attributed to being completely random. Something else is behind the scenes messing with drop rates. Or, I am completely wrong because it's early and I am still hung over a little bit.
  4. Any good PvP'ers go for healers first. So of course you will be targeted. Ask for guard, and ALWAYS stay with the group. Try to LOS when you can, and keep moving.
  5. Wut? There is one part to a taunt in PvP. Taunts in PvP just reduce damage of the enemy player on any target but you. How can you have threat in PvP? That doesn't even make any sense... If you think threat is in PvP, you don't know understand what threat is.
  6. These are good points. Two more things. Our threat is low and our mitigation is not where it needs to be as well. We need a boost in those two areas. If they do not scale our threat better, or increase our baseline damage in immortal, DPS will be pulling off of us in the 1.2 raid, because they scale with new gear much better than we do. Bioware already stated jugg mitigation is not where it needs to be, but has done nothing to fix it. So, I don't know what is coming for us.
  7. That isn't grammar, that is spelling. They are two different things. Nice try though. Thanks for playing.
  8. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#101cMG0uZIhMRMhzdMM.1 My hybrid PvP/PvE spec. I PvE more than I PvP, so it's more tank friendly. Plus, Invincible is godly and I can go Shien form for DPS.
  9. I don't even PvP, but I know that auto-facing abilities would kill PvP
  10. one warrior set piece dropped..... no weapons either Something is not right here... thats not RNG
  11. There is already a game that gives the best gear to people who do nothing... go play that one
  12. We just need more threat gen. We dont scale as well as DPS do in threat generation. A full Rakata DPS will pull off of a Rakata tank, easily.
  13. I agree that 50-70 people is a little crazy. I think WoW hit the nail on the head when they transitioned from 40-man raids to 25-man raids. 25 people is not too few for the encounter to seem trivial, and not too many that it's impossible to get together relatively easily. I would say that the target number for a MMO raid should be 20-30 people.
