I just want to play like a buffed wookie screaming my Warcry before I bathe in the blood of my ENEMIES!

There is a disguise terminal that allows players to look like a wookie-- I would support a portable one that allows them to play that way with the understanding that that's not truly their character (voice acting doesn't change, for example) but still gives that cosmetic.

Yes to all of these. There is a very nice post that the OP listed all the races from star wars that could be available, I would definitely take a look at that. Maybe it was even you. I have terrible memory sorry T-T

I do have a post on that. I would always be pleased with more options, but I honestly feel like at the moment there is a ton of potential with the species we already have. That being said, if we could get new races my top three would be Falleen, Chagrian and Zeltrons, but there are tons that would work.

  3. The game has been here for 11 years and the character creation process leaves much to be desired.  There is a fair amount of it that is good, but a woeful amount of things that are absolutely lacking, and many of them for reasons that, to my knowledge, have never been expressed.  I want to recommend some changes to how races can be done to enable players to create truly unique characters and take advantage of assets that are already in the game are not available when they should be.

Lets kick things off with alien races:  There are too few options.  Skin colour, eye colour, hair styles, tattoos, scars, hair colours.  Most alien species are locked out of options that would make complete sense for them to have, but for some reason do not. This, while some races have options that are inexplicable, such as Chiss now being able to have stubble-- but that's neither here nor there. Races need options, especially when they already exist in the game.  Colour options for Twi'leks, tattoos for Togrutas, facial options for Nautolons that are not embarrassing- this is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what players would absolutely love.   I am going to make a list of things that I believe should be included for options, and I would encourage everyone to comment with ideas of their own as well.  I know some options are simply incompatible with some species (such as cathar eyes with nautolans) but there are a plethora of options that can be/are and are not used. So, without further ado, here's what should be included in for character customization:

    • "Alien" race that allows players to pick and choose a lot of different options that are simply available, creating a species that is truly their own
    • Lekku positions for twi'leks that allow for winding the lekku around their bodies
    • Lekku length sliders for Twi'leks and Togrutas
    • All scars for all species (remove class restrictions)
    • More colour skin for races (black, purples, whites, etc)
    • More eye colour options, allow purchased human eye packs to be compatible with all species
    • Overhaul of Togruta species that makes it so the permanent helmet of their lekku/montral can be used in concert with other masks and helmets ( I have a whole thread on this, but seriously Togrutas need a complete rework)
    • Nautolan faces-- more options
    • Cybernetics-- allow all species to use them
    • Jewelry-- unlock them for different species where they are usable
    • Body sliders
    • Tattoo unlocks for all species
    • Unlockable racial emotes
    • More Zabrak tattoo-hair options, separate horns from hair

  4. It would be fun if there were a way to take a weapon that was in one's inventory, or a set of armour, and create a decoration in a stronghold of that/those items as if they were on display like trophies or as part of a wardrobe.

Being able to line walls  or tables with the weapons of those defeated (ala Grievous) or have common sets that the character wears (ala Batman) would allow for a fun and unique way of decorating one's homes, and a fun way to show character progression. Options could be created for whether lightsabers were lit or just deactivated hilts, if they would be wall mounted or on a pedestal or table, racks could be made for lightsabers, tech blades and blasters of all kinds, and so forth.

    Cheers!

The Darksaber isn't a vibro-blade, it's a one-of-a-kind lightsaber. George Lucas expressly stated this on a number of occasions. It was Lucas's idea.

It was created by Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian ever inducted into the Jedi Order, prior to 1032 BBY. The weapon was kept in the Jedi Temple.

We know from George Lucas's Clone wars series it could be wielded by non-force users, but it would require a class to have the Lightsaber proficiency.

As cool as the Darksaber is, and who wouldn't like to have one, it would be ridiculous to have it show up in the time frame of the game and it be a vibro-blade.

It would be equally ridiculous to classify it as a tech-weapon.

    It's a Lightsaber.

With that in mind, I would be pleased if tech classes were given a melee spec and there was a legacy unlock or hidden quest that allowed them to use lightsabers.

Unless we get a new melee tech combat style that can use vibroblades, I wouldn't hold my breath on it.

Which would be a fantastic addition to the game, btw.

  7. I think there is a lot of Sand People content that could be added and would be well-received.  The Pillager set to start back in the market or in rotation, gaderffi sticks to be added to the game, some Boba Fett inspired gear, and some good reasons for players to return to the Outlaw's Den.

  8. As I'm certain has been suggested before but can always use another reminder to the devs-- being able to choose how corrupted your character looks would be a great addition to the game.  As it is now it is an all-or nothing look, but it would be nice if below the dark side corruption toggle there were buttons to determine how corrupted the character could look. This could even be an unlock to help marginally with the economy.  Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

  9. I play typically on Star Forge and really enjoy rping on the fleet cantina. However, lately a player has been making any type of social gathering or rp impossible, constantly using giant mounts to harass those who like to dance and making it a challenge to even have a conversation as a lot of chat is taken up with people telling the player to stop.  A solution would be to make a person that is under 'legacy ignore' completely invisible to those who flag them that way. This could even be an additional prompt to go along with legacy ignore, an acknowledgment that one would like that player's avatar be invisible to the ignorer.

Please BioWare, you're my only hope.  Also, I would recommend you start taking a look at some of those harassment reports from the fleet as this has gotten completely out of control, thank you.

  10. I love the idea, I just don't think it's feasible.  If your Sith Warrior wanted to go over to the Jedi, where in the story would they be placed? The beginning? The equivalent level? what about your companions and starship? Would you just by default become a knight, or would consular be open to you? What about voice acting?

This is something that would have needed to be established at launch-- while many compromises could be made, I just don't see it happening.

Really, really wish it were easily doable though.

  11. White lightning, or black core lighting, would be amazing. Using the offhand colour is a clever solution as it wouldn't cause the balance issues of trying to add a new crystal slot.

A hefty price unlock for the ability (maybe 1-2 billion credits) would create a marginal dent in the inflation problem, but marginal is better than no dent at all.

Pity. Oh well! I'll continue evangelizing for more options!

Devs, can you also consider making the montrals even? Once one realized that they aren't symmetrical it hurts the soul to look at them.

Sorry felleto, I know it's painful.

If it makes you feel better, check out these montral variants. Devs, please give us similar options!

The question was intended to be interpreted in the context of the story rather than in wilful rejection of that context.

I'm sure it was, but story context is completely irrelevant to the suggestion.  If any player, at all, can think of a reason they want their character to have a cosmetic option, there is no 'story context' that will stand up against that.  To demand that is to again restrict player agency. I can sit here and think of dozens of examples why, in RP, a Sith warrior could have a slave brand on their face. Just because *you* can't doesn't mean that anyone has to explain their reason for wanting it anymore than they have to explain why someone would want to use covert energy and a loincloth in the outfit designer to run around in tighty-whities for an entire playthrough.

Destroy is great for getting rid of nonsalable items such as gear you claim to make an outfit. I propose Destroy acts like a vendor and pays you out as such.

This should be an unlock available, and one should be available for instant deconstruction.  Since we can already unlock the companion return time from selling vendor trash and the game is in dire need of money sinks, making quality of life options like this would be a welcome addition.
