I got in on the 4th 'wave' today, I picked a "Low" population server and I got exactly half, 4/8 names that were #1 on my list. Now that said, when I didn't get #1, I got either #2, or #3. So hold out hope guys.

A solid B. The servers are stable, no problems. The community is 'rocky', but they're rolling out invites a lot quicker today than they did yesterday. Overall communication/estimates could have been better and I don't think it would have been as detrimental as BW seems to think.

Promise? Where did you get that silly idea? I think the whole point of refusing to even give estimates (let alone promises) means that they aren't prepared to even speculate about how much time people are going to get. That said, SR tweeted that people will get "@ least 1 day".

Here's how you do it - as quickly as you can, offer a "Name Reservation System"; giving people the opportunity to secure a name on a server before their account has access to play. Of course, this is a service, so they will be charged a fee. WoW charges players $10.00 to change their name - people are comfortable paying that for a similar service, so I say go for 10 bucks each. You'll make way more money than WoW did w/ That ******** Horse (see for amusement). Viola! By 12/20 you have another million dollars in bank and everyone on the team gets a nice fat Xmas bonus - minus my % for suggesting this.... LOL!!!

Its yellow w/ a black "glow" around it. It changes the color of your lightsaber or blaster effect. It has a stat on it as well, like +4 Endurance (which = stam for wow players). You get one per character (from what I saw in Beta), but you can reuse it, you just have to remember to take it out of the item. Cheers!

You can hit Esc and it skips the scene. Also, I actually reserved all the character names I intended to ever make on my server in WoW, and I tagged them all on 2 other servers in case I wanted to transfer one day... which I actually did end up doing.

I wouldn't go so far as to say "lie"... misleading maybe. Their banner does still say that tho, should prolly go about changing that.

I loved my Agent in beta - made me want to roll Empire. =) And I agree w/ you about the Jedi storylines, they're a little, preachy. Unfortunately, I'm playing w/ a 'group' and I lost the coin toss, so Jedi it is....

For any of you guys that got in today, if you happen to be reading the forums (and mind you, I wouldn't be, I'd be playing the damn game, lol)... Any changes that you've noticed from Beta? Any new hairdos, etc that they saved for release that we might not have seen yet?

Good points. I really don't understand why they stopped invites today. I know they wanted to see what would happen when people came home from work or school, but I really feel that by 9 or 10 o'clock the servers should have been stable enough (barring disasters) for further invites. If not limiting to 1 character, 1 server.... something.
