  1. wow at least has weather and a time cycle. For a mmo revolving and relying on story to immerse you in it's world this is disconcerting.
  2. talk about bland environments too. Theres no weather, and no day/night cycles... i thought we were in 2012
  3. i could... but i expect a game in 2012 to have decent textures and AA
  4. Because there aren't really any. If there are any they can be directly correlated to the auto-queue pvp and it's cons, the one auto queue that everybody is ok with.
  5. Then can you explain to me how auto queue pvp can work and not do this? and maybe why you may or may not support it?
  6. and that's perfectly fine, I intend to play my alt that way. however, Bioware needs to accommodate to both crowds .
  7. same server didn't destroy the community, X-server did.
  8. Thats not the point. What i'm addressing is the attitude that the general function of the LFG will all of a sudden destroy community by making people "lazy" by grouping them and teleporting them. Thats what the current pvp system does. in it's state it doesn't MAKE players construct groups, it does it for us. However, a system like that is accepted here by Anti-LFG people, despite the logic, the "lazyness" logic, being exactly the same.
  9. they're both fruit aren't they? taste different but wont kill you.
  10. In comparison, we have a system that is allowed and praised, and a system that is condemned. both pull from the player population to A) place you in a group and B) telepoet you to an instance, be it flashpoint or warzone that is assuming both are same server, which is what I gather most supporters want from a LFG system.
  11. then what's their reasoning for the PVP queueing system that also apparently destroys community? so pvp'ers can be "lazy" but pve'ers cannot be "lazy". pvp'ers can queue where ever and be teleported to a warzone but i cant in pve.
  12. You can talk in the flashpoint, in the safety of your own server, with a same server LFG tool.
  13. yep, and it would be worse due to the increased number. Think finding 4 is tough? try 10+
  14. then lets start a thread to remove auto-queue pvp and insert instances to further strengthen community. Because from all the warzones ive been in people don't talk or strategize whatsoever, and I doubt pug'ing without a finder will fix that. People wont be social if they don't want to.
  15. or even people auto queueig for pvp and not talking to teammates
  16. how so? both pull from the player population to A) place you in a group and B) telepoet you to an instance, be it flashpoint or warzone that is assuming both are same server, which is what I gather most supporters want from a LFG system.
  17. Then you must not competitively pvp, or just pvp with dps only. There are many uses for tanks (flag carriers) and healers in pvp
  18. why arent the anti-LFD people petitioning to remove the pvp queue? its a auto queue tool
  19. it wouldn't be that hard to add an instance now would it? i think they were catering too much to the casuals.
  20. better not use the pvp finder, or else ill have to call YOU lazy
  21. I think bioware should remove instanta queue pvp, it destroys community. I want to round up 10 people and walk to the warzonezone to feel "epic", none of this insta queue crutch stuff. I think we shouldn't have an GTN as it destroys community. I want to talk to the man im buying from! I think we should remove our teleport because it makes the game too easy and casual. Might as well get rid of flight points too while we're at it, walking builds community and a cinematic atmosphere. lol
  22. agreed. i think people just have nostalgia for those golden days, while blocking out the memories of hour long group finds and failures.
  23. of course any criticism will be discredited by fanboys, even constructive criticism.
