Oki I have been leveling up my trooper and so far it seems that bioware made a singleplayer game slapped the basic mmo formula around it and VOILA a new subscribtion based game, quests that requires a lot of running, running , running and more running.
I have basicly been playing this like a singleplayer game and I can´t understand why they did not just make it a singleplayer game.
It´s an incredibly linear experience you start at one planet and are directed from one to the next without the chance to explore freely, since any other planet you visit that does not suit your level will mean instant death.
The planets themselves feels like small zones with quests endless meaningless quests and here is why the singleplayer part of the game feels meaningless, first of all there is no consequenses if you take out a boss have someone arrested, he will respawn for the next player to kill.
That works well in KOTOR (the first one) and in the Mass Effect series but here it´s just an excuse to level up.
I think it´s pretty obvious that the developers just stole the mmo part from every other mmo out there added the singleplayer experience but mmo players in general play mmo´s for a different reason.
Most of the mmo players I know are waiting for Guild Wars 2 perhaps I should have too.
