You can say whatever you want about OWPvP servers. There is a reason PVP servers die first. Usually it toxic community, or level capped players hanging out in starter zones killing level 10's and then claiming "It's a PvP Server" So they drive a lot of people away. In Tera it got so bad at Lumberton, (the level 11-20 zone) that on the pvp server they started handing out 3-10 day suspensions for killing lowbies.

Well as usual for BW devs, mercs where crap until the devs changed the DCd's, and ya they probably are bit OP, but no more than sins where or sorc's when 5.0 released. It's a merry go around with BW, they nerf some class and kill it at the same time they buff some other class and make it almost Immortal . So who will be the Immoratl in the next balance patch? they probably roll d20 dice to determine that answer.

Cross server would have solved the problem as well. The reason there is no cross server is the simple fact that BioWare cant do what other company's have been doing since around 2006 and make it cross server. They can't do anything right with the piece of poo they choose as a gamin engine. But laments aside there is nothing they or us can do about that choice now

I still would have preferred cross server than cross faction. But let's face it, BW couldn't have made that happen so we get what they can do. Sad really, that they cant even do what WoW dis in 2008 or 2009 cross server

It still comes down to this the lowbie and mid pops will still be a failure as the rewards for participation are sub par compared to just doing random crap in the game. THis cross faction idea will have zero effect on the two tiers I'd rather play

Amen, I hate the cross faction idea would have supported cross server but cross faction is just the lazy mans way and likewise if I never have do another arena match it will be to soon

While I usually agree with you Tux, I don't on this issue. Couldn't the same thing have been accomplished by just going cross server vs cross faction? Personally I hate it when Im in a WZ and the pubs are on my side and the other side pfft, click the leave button

Personally would have rather seen cross server like WOW did many years ago than cross faction, just my preference

While the PvP focus is much better there is nothing in that roadmap that addresses the lack of participation in lowbie and mid PvP there needs to be more incentives to get people to que. ATM there is no reason to do lowbie and Mid for anyone that isn't interested in PvP. Players can get more experience, more and better gear, simply by doing the heroics over spending an hour to two waiting on Lowbie or mid pop. Just my 2 cents.

The selection of maps are to numerous in SWTOR. Take Vanilla WoW, there were 3 maps to choose from once at 60. At 10 to 30 IIRC was warsong gulch and nothing else, then at 30 you got Basin and the capture the node map, then at 45 IIRC Arthric Valley was added. THen each weekend a different map was chosen as that weekends bonus rewards. With the number of maps currently, the remain population would be further spread out and probably lead to more que time Just my POV on letting people select maps

NO ALL CONTENT OVER 55 SHOULD NOT BE GROUP CONTENT. As someone so pointedly put it in regards to PVP "they do not do PvP so they do not want Dev's wasting time on PVP stuff. As well I do not do much group content outside PvP and donot wish the Dev's to waste their time doing PvE crap

I hear you Trixxie. One of the problems with ques at lowbie and mid I feel is the rate of progression. I mean a lowbie, say level 20, can login do three or four heroic's get a level, 3 or 4 boxes with gear and log out all within an hour. Meanwhile trying to get three to four WZ pops in an hour is wishful thinking. So we are back to how to get players to que. Even if you get the four pops in an hour you get zitch in rewards compared to doing the four heroic's. And as you've said until that changes those tier's of WZ's will only be people like us that enjoy that gameplay, not the causal gamer looking to spend an hour or an hour and half in game on a weeknight

Not knowing what exactly they did (modifications to the Hero Engine during development, and none of those people still hanging around Austin that coded that mess. I would be terribly afraid to mess with it

ALl I want to address is the red bolded large part of your post. I doon't have a rep toon past chapter 1 did get a 50 smuggler and 50 sentinel during the DvL event simply because i had to do republic crud to get get the achievements. I leveled those toon on Kuwat and FP's as sson as I got to ten did PvP to 15 then FP and Kuwat shipyard. SO not everyone has taken Rep toon through chapter three
